Weapon(s): A few daggers hidden on her person in case her tai gets blocked and can't use her powers for a few hours.
Power(s): She is a water elemental mage that can control water in many ways. (Similar to Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender.) Blood bending: there's water in blood so she control a person's body due to that for a period of time. Due to her bending, she can drain all the water from a person's body in order to kill them. Mari has done this before but only as a last defense in a life or death situation. She can see and interact with water elemental beings/spirits that are nearby. She bend water in any way she can think of.
Bio:When Mari was ten, she and some of her other friends were captured by cannibalistic witches. It was when she was on the dissecting table, tied down and for the second time was when she acted in desperation. While they were eating parts of her body that they had cut off, Mari bent the water out of the witches, turning their bodies into dust. Mari hadn't been able to do something this intense with her powers before then. After this, her father made sure that she had special training with her powers so that she could control it when and if there was another time she was in a desperate situation.
Mari has that bit in her past and haunts her from time to time and she does try to make sure that she doesn't use her magic in public unless she has too. She's a violinist as well and travels for different jigs. She does go busking in parks to make her way, whether she needs to or not. Street performing does help relax as she dances while playing her violin.
About three years ago before the rp starts, Mari was ambushed on her way home one night and she doesn't remember anything that had happened.... She woke up three days later in a hospital bed. The doctor said that she had been lucky to still be alive. The person that brought her in said that she had been lying face down in the alley and there was bleeding out. They had to give her six units of blood. Her body had be roughen up but no broken bones or internal injuries to speak of. Apparently there had been some bite marks on different parts of her body along were someone had left some cuts on her. It was the loss of blood that was major issue from the attack.
Once she had recovered from the attack, she got an idea to move out of the USA. So she got her passport ready and all the other paper work done for traveling. She made her way through Portugal, Spain, France, and then Germany. Once she got to Berlin, that's where she stopped and made it her new home. If was if she always wanted to be there in Berlin, but didn't know why that was so. Mari has been living in Berlin for two years before the rp starts.

Even though it they live in moderns times, the fairy court still did pre-arrange marriages for alliances and treaties. Her father wasn't big on it but he did have to listen to the fairy queen on that. They met several times over the years with each other but Eric had a dark side that they didn't know about.

Bio: Henri doesn't like knowing that he had been in debt with the fairy queen due to the fact that she was the surrogate mother for Amelia. But that was the only way Dandelia and him were able to have Amelia in the first place. Dandelia had three miscarriages before seeking the possibility of a surrogate mother to carry their future child full term. Both Dandelia and Henri were surprised that the fairy queen was willing to be a surrogate mother for them. Dandelia and the queen were third cousins so any of Dandelia's and Henri's children would have been in line for the throne, seventh or beyond. Technicality, if Amelia hadn't had to have a surrogate mother, she would be tenth in line for the throne. Due to the surrogate mother thing, Amelia is the first in line for the throne. Amelia does not know this and it's a kept tight secret.
Henri wished that the fae queen already had a child of her own that could take the throne instead of Amelia. He wised that he hadn't agreed with that pre-arranged marriage for Mel but was a bit forced on him by the fae queen.

Body transfer - if it dies a temporary death it can appear again in another form or several. They are always guided by a single goal, there is always a brain, eyes, ears, hands so to speak. The new form needs a stable reason to act and reliable information sources. Automatically triggers manifest as it grows stronger. May abandon a body using this method. The body left behind, if an actual person, will not be aware of what possessed it but will have all its memories. (hint: A doppleganger cannot become aware that it is a doppleganger)
