The fresh fallen snow seems undisturbed and brings a sense of peace. Only, nothing is ever as good as it seems, and there’s something eerie about it. After a while, it feels like someone--or something--is watching you. In the shadows of the trees, a set of milky eyes watches. Whatever it is, it’s tall and bulky. If you walk quickly, you feel it follow you but once you leave the line of trees, it disappears. If you try to approach it, a great beast will screech at you: a six foot tall snowy white owl takes flight. It may tackle or claw at you, depending on how you approach it, but it will always take flight and disappear in the night. If you choose to attack it, for the next few nights any time you look out your window you will see glowing eyes in the distance--or worse, hear it scratching to get in. Eventually, the temperature rises and the visits stop. For now.
Ara could tell she was being watched, years of fighting as a senshi had taught her too be vigilant about things like that. She was sure it was some kind of monster even if she couldn't sense it's aura but she was having trouble locating it, only catching glimpses of milky eyes in the shadows off the forest. She was so focused on the monster that she hadn't noticed that she was nearing a corrupt's aura as well. At least she didn't notice until she had actually bumped into the man.
"Not you again!" She exclaimed in exasperation as she finally noticed the corrupt in question. One she had fought only several nights ago. "What are you doing out here?"

Alkmene really was trying to stick by his resolution of avoiding people that were stronger than him. Truly, fully, and completely, he wanted to not get into another fight where he got his a** kicked. It wasn't fun, it wasn't pleasant, and it just made him miserable. There was, for him, no way to make this anything but an exercise in futility.
The further he walked into the park, the more he could feel strange eyes on him, and that distracted him from keeping his aura senses alert. Which was how he missed the approaching Super aura until it was right in front of him.
He blinked down, and then the voice hit, and he groaned.
"Goddamnit, you again," he said, and he took a step back. "Do you have any idea how long i was stuck in that gross snow? It was awful, I thought my hair was going to be ruined."

Ara gave a cocky laugh in response to the man. "That's what you get! Maybe if you corrupts didn't grow your hair so long you wouldn't have to worry about it getting ruined from a little snow." She knew she was being cheeky, she knew it was not normal snow but she didn't feel like she should give an inch to this corrupt. There was something about him that annoyed her, maybe it was that he had compared her to an annoying twitter user. "It's your fault if you didn't try to rob people of their energy then I wouldn't have had to fight you." She huffed. Her annoyance at running into the same Corrupt so soon after their last encounter had taken her attention off of the the weird creature stalking her but it wouldn't for long.
The shiver that went down her spine as she realized the eyes were still watching her brought her conversation to an end. "Whatever that's not important right now." She gestured to the eyes in the darkness. "What is that?! Is it one of your youma?" She huffed her accusation. "Actually I guess I'd be able to feel if it was one of yours." She just wanted the weird creature to stop staring at her, if it was going to attack couldn't it just attack already.
"Stop stalking me you creepy monster!" She yelled at the eyes before raising her hand. "Ara Luminescent Starshine" She fired a blast of light at the monster. However that seemed to just piss the creature off as it flew at her screeching. It was a monstrous 6 foot tall owl like creature. It tackled her scratching at her with it's razor sharp talons. It cut into her arms as she struggled to fight it off. Finally she decided to just call on her magic again. "Infinite Light Parade!" The motes of light struck the creature and it backed off flapping its wings as it eyed the pair.

Alkmene crossed his arms. "I would like to remind you that I was not stealing energy, and also? I don't choose to have my hair like this. It just grows whenever I power up. My actual hair is like..." he gestured at roughly chest-high, "this long? And I won't deny that I look great with it even longer, but it is a pain in the a**."
He crossed his arms, looking extremely huffy and unhappy with her, but he kept his mouth shut as she looked around. Whatever she was looking for, she wasn't looking at him, and that was the important part, because he didn't want to have to fight her again.
He turned to look at the bird and narrowed his eyes. It didn't look like a youma, which was the weird thing.
"If it is one? It's gonna want to eat me as much as it wants to eat you," which was the flat, unfortunate truth. At least it seemed focused on her at first, which was good. He moved to haul the owl off her, but she seemed, to have it pretty much under control, so once it was hovering, he moved between her and it.
"Get out of here," he suggested, "and I'll see if I can chase it off."
It seemed to decide, then, that he was a more interesting target, and dove at him, screeching. He ducked with a yelp, and bit back a string of swears.

"Wait really? That's so weird, why does it do that?" She couldn't imagine the tactical benefit of growing their hair long. Sure the long hair was pretty but was Chaos really that vain.
"Wait seriously!? Why in Sailor Cosmos' name would a Youma attack you, you're corrupt senshi!?" Was he lying, but he said it with such earnestness. Youma attacked their senshi but they worked for the Negaverse so why?
She didn't have much time to think about this as the man began to wrestle the monster. She took that as an opportunity to run, holding her scratched up arm. She was glad it was winter because she would need to wear long sleeves for a while after this.
She looked back at the man feeling bad about leaving him but he said he would handle it. She supposed she owed that corrupt now, she didn't like feeling in debt like this.

The b*****d creature kept coming at him, and he barely had time to answer the questions the Chibi kept peppering him with.
"I don't know, okay? Why the hair thing happens, or why youma hate us, they just--irrational hatred of Senshi, I guess?" Still, at least she was doing the smart thing and running. Which meant that he, too, could dot he smart thing--he hurled the owl, hard, back towards the tree, and took off running himself.
He just had to outpace it. That was the secret. And he had some luck--got to the edge of the wooded trail, and collapsed to catch his breath, and there were no wingbeats, and nothing following him.
Good. Now he was going to never speak of this again.
