Viatrix stretched, arching her back first before pulling her front paws forward and patting them against the sidewalk.

Quiet night. Good. The fewer times she went out and detected anything nearby, the better. There was a part of her that was tempted to use that as an excuse to go back home and relax, or perhaps to don her civilian guise and buy a few things from the store without having to bother Encke or Basiluzzo about it. Maybe she could pick up one of those clearance kid's chemistry sets. A little cheesy, but that'd give her a fun scientific start...

An aura caught her attention before she could.

Mauvian, like her. Didn't have the oyster feeling like Chaos did.

One of her own!

It was always good to talk shop with another Mauvian -- see who they had awakened lately, see what they had invented lately, if they had seen another homeworld lately -- and so she easily pursued that energy, trotting toward the feeling of the energy.

Was that a ... was that a kitten?

"Hello!?"

Viatrix sat back on her hind legs and watched as the kitten in front of her at first shouted at her and then attempted to greet her. Was he looking over her? Was she the first time he had seen another Mauvian like him--

Oh, oh no, he was being so formal--

Viatrix couldn't help her giggling.

So he was a Mauvian kitten who had awoken by himself -- no parents around, alright, guess he had already found his senshi though -- who knew he was stationed on Earth. Sheepishly, Viatrix replied, "So far as I can tell, we're all here. I haven't heard anything from Mau, and we've had no luck contacting them." Not even the little machine on the Moon had helped them, though she had found it curious there was a block on the contact versus a complete lack of information--

"You don't need to be so formal. I'm Viatrix. And if we're introducing our bonded... My bonded senshi is Transcendent Eternal Encke." She chuckled. "You caught me out here without him. What brings you out here?"

Dari was certainly less formal than the whole 'Darius Ammun' name. She was willing to stick with Dari.

Her eyes widened with brief surprise when he stated he was looking for her -- lessened a bit when he said any Order Cat -- guessed he was looking to get oriented. He then proceeded to name the basic duties of any Mauvian. She lifted a paw, counting on her toes the things he named. Awakenings, for sure. Upgrades, definitely. Building technology, absolutely. She had a project she was working on that she needed to do a bit more work on, actually--

"Oh, you don't know where HQ is?"

Viatrix's eyes widened once again.

"Oh, you are a new baby -- follow me! I'll take us over! Not too far from here!" Assuming that he'd follow, Viatrix started trotting off in the direction of the headquarters. "And you got the right idea of what Mauvians are supposed to do! You'll feel when people near you are ready to awaken or ready to upgrade, you know? For me it's like a feeling in the gut. Instinctual."

How he spoke of memories felt familiar; Viatrix knew the things she knew by instinct, but she didn't exactly get many memories of the life she had before she had awoken once more. She had figured out her senshi was Encke, and she had figured out a few things by being on his comet, but ... nothing significant, and certainly nothing of her life on Mau.

The fact that he remembered the time before he awoke came as a slight surprise, and Viatrix was going to ask about that before he commented on the bond again -- "Yeah. I knew Encke was mine when I met him. I mean, I had been looking for him the whole time, I suppose, and maybe the accessories I wore were a giveaway, but," she knit her brows, "don't necessarily remember how we originally bonded..."

Hm.

"No matter!" Being called a professor gave her a little bounce in her step. "Have you awakened anyone yet? A lot of it is kinda instinctual, but if you haven't, I can give you the feeling you're supposed to look for! Or at least how it manifests for me."

Viatrix nodded in understanding as he explained where his memories came from, before her eyes widened in surprise when Darius mentioned familiarity with Encke. Of course, someone else who had come across her bonded before she had-- "Oh, how cool! I guess that means you're familiar with him." She grinned, puffing out the front of her body a bit in a confident strut as she walked. "My senshi has been around for a while, so I'm always pleased when other people know of him. Means he's networking."

She had been reading some magazines recently, and a lot of them reinforced that networking was necessary, and she figured it made sense. Networking was just a fancy word for making allies, right--

Viatrix snickered when he gave into the urge to giggle over the word.

Definitely a kitten.

Definitely meant she had professor responsibilities, though.

"So for me -- I feel it like an extra sense? When I go really close to someone unawakened or ready to upgrade, it's a feeling inside. Something I know I can tap into and unlock for them. It tells me a bit about them, and when I pull on that, I can upgrade their pen or produce a new one for them! Then I can tell them what their name is and help them power up." She grinned. "Did that for a Sailor Ran recently, and for a Sailor Keiko..."

Viatrix was very proud of gaining more people she had upgraded.

Transcendence was something Viatrix was happy to fill in the details of. "Transcendent! Not the extra stuff." She tilted her head toward Darius. "It's when your planet rewards you for your dedication to it! People seem to transcend when they do something good for their homeworld. Like Encke, he turned the electricity back on." She lifted a paw to tap her chin for a moment in a mimic of thoughtful poses before resuming walking. "If that's something your charge has an interest in, just encourage him to figure out what his world needs!"

They weren't too far now from the headquarters, she was fairly sure. Might have been easier if she was in her civilian guise--

"Well, upgraded and awakened, but yes!" Viatrix turned toward Darius and closed her eyes in something of a happy grin before continuing onward. "All of these things are things you have the power to do solo -- and yes, even you! It's something that comes innately to us."

Which was probably good, considering she wasn't entirely sure what she had been doing when she upgraded Ran--

"You'll know when you feel it."

Definitely a kitten. She did her best to not point out the fart, focusing instead on their conversation.

"Yes! Let me show you--," Viatrix trotted away from him toward Destiny Tower, looking for the panel she knew so well. A place that was only attuned to their own Mauvian stars or court symbols that was around there somewhere-- ah! There!

She gestured for the kitten to come join her.

"Dari!" She gestured to the panel, and then to the tower. "This is Destiny Tower. Our headquarters are here. Only other Mauvians like us can come in here, and none of those evil nasty Chaos ones. If you want to open it," she tapped on the panel, before trotting out of the way for Darius to try, "just use your star symbol here! It'll open the door and then we can both go in. Pretty neat, huh!"
