Picking Out The Perfect Gift
Solo or RP Format Counts as 5 RP growth Points Solo word minimum is 750, RP post minimum is 7
It's that time of the year again! Time to give presents to loved ones in the typical ceremonies of the people of Tendaji. But the question is - what is the perfect gift?
[ We're looking for two things in this world event. 1) Who is your character getting a gift for and why? 2) What exactly would be the perfect gift? You can spend the whole prompt reflecting on these decisions, asking a friend for advice on the gift to give, or going out and purchasing the gift. ]

He stared hard at what was in front of him. Granted it was the same thing he saw any other day. The market and all its stalls and vendors and street sellers, with the occasional performer thrown in for entertainment. Zohra was at a stand still though. He was wanting to get something for his siblings, all of them, to show how much he appreciated them. Of course he had limited funds on his person and he couldn’t exactly go asking his mom or dad for more since they might start to ask questions and then it would get back to his siblings. Last thing he needed was someone to go blabbing.
So he had one hand tapping at his chin while he half glared at the busy bodies in front of him. Not because they did anything wrong, but because they were just in his line of sight. What would each of his siblings like? Lynx was easy. Something animal related. That was a given. The dork had decided it sounded fun to train animals all day long. And sure, it wasn’t the worst thing he could have done but it wasn’t the most fun either. Sometimes it was more work than play and that was boring to Zohraduri. So a cute bowl or a leash for his latest pet would be no big deal.
Iexa was a bit harder to shop for. His other older brother was a bit all over the place at the moment. Though he did have a bit more of a responsible side. Maybe he could get him something to show he saw that? Like a notebook or something? Maybe? What would his brother even put in the thing? Zohra had no idea. He wasn’t sure what he would do with one let alone someone else.
So the poor boy sighed a little. “Why is this so hard?” He groaned out.
He spent so much time with his siblings so it wasn’t like they were strangers. The problem lied with Zohra wanting to get them all something special. (And cheap.) Zasha would likely be fine with some sort of bracelet. Which Zohra wanted to take the time to make. So he could always just buy the stuff to make it for her. Yeah, he could do that! And then he could show it to her later and let her know that the design was just for her. A one of a kind!
Arkadios was another easy one. Sorta. Zohra knew his little cousin liked to cook, even if he wasn’t exactly supposed to. Not that he was gonna tattle on him or anything. He got to enjoy the results most of the time! So that meant he should probably get the boy something to do with the kitchen. He had noticed that his apron was getting a bit small. So maybe another one to replace that one? Sure! Zohra was okay with that. And he was sure that Ari would be too. He made the best little brother sometimes.
Sio was a bit more of a puzzle. Worse than Iexa was! Mostly because the little girl didn’t tell anyone what she liked. Not that she spoke to anyone really at all, unless they were Ari. Twins and their weird bonds. He had twin older brothers and younger twin cousins. Go figure. Still, he had to wonder if the little girl might like a piece of jewelry like Zasha. Then again he didn’t see her really gravitate toward jewels that much. It was strange.
So he sighed heavily once more before he started to just wander the market with no real goal in mind. Maybe if he was lucky he’d spot something along the way that would just scream Iexa of Siofra’s name. Zohra hoped to.
As he meandered around he came upon the place where he stopped to get the apron for Ari. It was a simple thing, no frills or pretty designs, but he thought he could spruce it up at home. He had paints and such. And if he really wanted to ask for help then he could always ask his mom to sew something into it. Then he passed by the place that dealt with animals. Zohra got a cute leash. One with metal studs on it that he thought Lynx would really like. That just meant he needed some stuff to make a bracelet for Zasha and some inspiration to strike him down so he didn’t leave Iexa and Sio out.
As he kept along, determined to find something, he found just the thing. Of course he’d almost missed it! If he hadn't turned his head when he did then he’d have walked right past it.
“Yes!” Zohra crossed the large pathway with a clear goal in mind. “They’ll love it!”
