Research -- Vaylin love to research new worlds and cultures. She loves to read up on new worlds and to do observational research. She loves learning about any subject, from history top science to philosophy she just loves learning new things. She loves compiling data in a journal she keeps.

Training -- Vaylin loves to spend her time off exercising or practicing with her weapon. She finds the physical exercion enjoyable and she considers it necessary to make sure she is physically fit to perform her duties as a member of the Vanguard.

Exploring -- Vaylin loves exploring new places. She enjoys wandering around new planets learning what is around her. She'll somethings just go wandering in the woods for hours hoping to discover new things.

Virtues:

Hardworking --Vaylin always dedicates herself heart and soul to whatever she decides to do. She'll always give 110% to any mission she has. She's constantly working to improve both her knowledge and skills so that she can succeed in her mission.

Inquisitive -- Vaylin has a very inquisitive mind. She always wants to learn more about anything she comes across especially if it is Alien. She is constantly asking questions and doing research just to further her knowledge.

Clever -- Vaylin is usually a fast thinker and she often tries to look at a situation from all angles because she prefers nothing can take her by surprise. If she is clear head she can often think of a way out of a bad situation. She is good at deduction and investigations.

Flaws:

Headstrong -- Vaylin tends to be very firm in her believes while she can be rattled by extreme situations it takes a lot to shake her resolve and even if shaken she'll usually quickly recover.

Easily Distracted -- Vaylin though dedicated to her missions does have a tendency to get sidetracked as she always wants to learn everything there is to learn about a subject regardless of it actually furthers her goals.

Overthinker -- Vaylin has a bad tendency to overthink things and to always fear the possible outcome. It tends to make her overly cautious to the point she will attempt to prevent threats that do not actually exist.

Uniform Style: Ceremonial military with skirt (see art)

Weapon:

Cadet Weapon: A small dagger with an energy blade that can cause a tingling and numbing sensation for 15 seconds upon contact.

Corporal Weapon: A foot long sword with an energy blade that if it hits can send an electrical impulse to the brain that reverse a person's perception for 15 seconds; so up is down, left is right, and what is infront of them is really behind. She must wait 20 seconds in-between uses of this effect.

Commander Weapon: A full sized sword with an energy blade that can send a an electrical impulse to the brain and muscular system that reverse both a person's perception and their reactions for 15 seconds. So not only would they perceive up as down and left as right and back as front but if a person who was hit goes to move their left arm or leg they will have actually moved their right. She must wait 20 seconds in-between uses of this effect. The blade is now capable of cutting or stabbing.

Backstory Meta recruit (Because these characters are being sent from Velencya, they must have a reason for coming to Earth. This can be something simple, like they requested to assist in the ongoing mission, they could have been specially requested for a skillset they have, or maybe they have close ties to someone sent already and they believe they can help. These characters should always be Cadets and should still be fairly new to the Vanguard by Velencian standards. They cannot be the 'best' of anything in their field, but they can be skilled. They should know that Caedus is a long-lost King of theirs, however he was perceived as strange and they only knew him briefly. They should have been trained by Commodore Lyndin, who will be familiar with them as the leader of the Vanguard. This does not have to be an incredibly detailed section, we just need to work with you to establish how and why your character is being sent to Earth. Velencians can be sent together in a single pod, or they can be sent in small groups.)
