Thea 1
To get some of the kids out of the house she had decided to take two of the younger ones to the beach. She wanted to teach Siofra how to swim just as she had Zohra and Zasha. She'd have to take Arkadios sometime too. Luckily for her Lynx was home and had offered to come along to watch over his younger brother while she tended to his cousin.
She had the little girl on her hip as they walked toward the water and held Zohra's hand. "Lynx, do you think you can put the blanket down over here so we have a place to relax?" She'd made sure to pack a blanket and some drying cloths for when they were done swimming as well as some snacks in case the two little ones got hungry.

He walked behind his mother as she had both little kids with her. He'd been tasked with carrying their things but he didn't mind too much. When he heard his mom tell him to put the blanket down he nodded. "Yeah, I can do that. Zohra, did you wanna help me?" He asked his little brother. Since Zasha and Zohra had been born he'd been a good big brother, always trying to include them in things that they could do. He knew it made them feel older and important.
He didn't ask Siofra because she was being held by his mom but also because she was a bit more shy around everyone that wasn't her twin. Though he had to admit that at least she didn't scream whenever someone got too close to her.

Zohra 1
He held tight to his mother's hand as they walked, occassionally taking peeks up at his cousin as she clung to his mom. He was a bit jealous but he understood she was younger than him. Plus he'd been told that he was old enough to be a big boy and walk just like his older brothers.
When Lynx asked if he wanted to help with the blanket he turned his head to look at his brother and smiled. "Okay!" Zohra loved to help Lynx and Iexa do things. Even if it wasn't much. He always felt like a big kid when he did. He let go of his mother's hand and quickly latched onto Lynx instead.

Since she was being carried by her aunt she didn't have much to do. And with no talking, at least not to her, she didn't need her hands. So she clung to Thea with one hand, gripping tightly to her vest to make sure she didn't fall or get taken. The other hand had her thumb placed in her mouth. She was still young enough that no one yelled at her for it and it gave her an excuse to not have to talk to anyone.
As her aunt told Lynx to put the blanket down she turned her head to look back at her cousin with some curiosity. He agreed and then snagged Zohra's attention too. That left her and her aunt to continue on toward the water. She turned her head back and stared at the side of Thea's face knowing that eventually her aunt would look at her.

She was grateful to Lynx for not arguing with her over the blanket and when he stole Zohra's attention as well she smiled. It was nice to see him taking the big brother role so seriously since she could only recall his terror days when he'd team up with his twin to cause chaos. As the two boys stopped to handle the blanket she continued to the water with her niece still on her hip. After another few steps she could tell that Siofra was staring at her so she turned her head to look back.
"What is it dove?" She knew her niece didn't talk much and without her mouthpiece, a.k.a Arkadios, there would be little communication but she tried anyways. Thea always did. She felt guilty for the fact that Siofra was mostly mute. "Lynx and Zohra will join us when they are done. I promise." Was she worried about the boys not swimming as well?

As soon as Zohra latched onto him he steered them to a good spot to set up the blanket. He pulled it out and started to unfold it. When he found the corners he handed one side to his little brother. "Here you go. You take this side and I'll take the other and we can spread it out." Once Zohra had it he started to walk slowly away so that they could get the blanket set down.
"Doing good, Zohraduri." Lynx made sure to praise his younger siblings a lot so they felt accomplished with things. Even if they were small. He always remembered their mother doing that and it had made him feel special.

He giggled when he was handed his side of the blanket and nodded his head. He watched as Lynx moved away and spread his arms out as wide as he could so that the blanket would be even. It didn't work too well since he was smaller than his brother but at least he tried! When he was praised he grinned almost from ear to ear. "I did it!" He called from his side.
It was slightly crooked but oh well! He let his side down then jumped onto the blanket with a thump! "You got the rocks?" Zohra knew that they needed four rocks, one for each corner, to keep it down when the wind blew.

When her aunt looked at her and asked her a question she simply continued to stare at her. With her thumb in her mouth she wouldn't be able to respond verbally, not that she wanted to. So Sio settled for shaking her head slightly when it was mentioned that her cousins would be joining them. That hadn't been a concern, although now she glanced back at them just to make sure they hadn't disappeared.
When she was sure they were still there she looked back at her aunt. From there she let go of Thea's vest so that she could point to the ocean. Once she was pointing she furrowed her brows to show her worry. Sio wasn't so sure she liked the idea of being in the ocean since it was so big.

She watched at her niece shook her head about her boys joining them. Apparently that hadn't been the issue. Theanduri really wished she had handled things better with Siofra so that she still spoke. It was bad enough that she was already pretty sure Adenah wanted to murder her for mentally scarring her daughter.
Finally Sio pointed to the ocean and it somewhat clicked. "Oh, it's alright sweetie. I'll keep hold of you the entire time and we won't go that far out." She smiled and nodded her head. "Besides, Lynx is a great swimmer so if something happens he can save us." Thea could swim too, so there really was no problem, but she'd noticed that Sio liked being reassured on things.

"Sure do Zo!" He replied to his little brother. Lynx dug around before he pulled out the large rocks to hold the corners down. He moved over to Zohra and handed him to for his sides and then went to place his own. "Alright. That should do it for this." Now that they were all set up he made sure everything was where they could reach it before he shucked his shirt off and motioned for his brother to do the same.
"Come on, ma and Sio are getting in the water already." Since he was older he understood the situation his cousins were in. He never felt jealous of their presence despite being a mama's boy. Which was a good thing. If anything knowing made him more protective of them. He and Iexa both made sure that the little ones were alright before they did anything else.

He grinned and took the two rocks for his corners from his brother before he bent down to place the one. Once he was satisfied with the position he moved along to the next one and placed it as well. That one he had to roll to a different side since it wasn't smooth. To him it just looked funny. When he heard that his mom and Siofra were headed for the water he looked up to spot them.
A big smile showed up and he nodded his head before using both hands to grab the hem of his shirt and pull it up and over his head. Zohra was shirtless in less than a second and taking off in a run to catch up to his mother. "Mama, wait for us!" He called.

She stared hard at the water. Her eyes took in the waves as they lapped at the sand and she frowned around her thumb. Siofra gave a small, hesitant nod to the ocean. As long as they didn't go too far then she'd be fine. And knowing that Lynx was there to save them if they needed it was a big help.
Then she heard Zohra calling out and she turned her head to look at him. While she'd grown up around him she sometimes got exhausted just being near his energy. And there was the fact that he wasn't Arkadios. Sio had her favorites. There was no denying that. And it showed in how she behaved around certain family members. Everyone else didn't exist if her twin was with her. And if Grandma was around then anyone that wanted to hold her would just have to wait. Depending on her mood she tended to favor one parent over the other too.

She chuckled as she watched the little girl nod her head. Well at least she wasn't completely against the idea. When she heard her youngest son call out she turned to look at him. Thea was already smiling so it was almost impossible for her smile to get any wider. "Come on boys. Siofra and I are going to enjoy the water for a bit. Lynx make sure to keep an eye on your brother." She told them.
While she would be holing onto Sio she would keep her eyes on everyone. It was just what a mother did. She couldn't help that she worried about her kids, even the older ones.

He paid no mind to his cousin looking at him. He already knew that she sometimes got tired of dealing with him. Zasha did too when he just wouldn't stop moving around. So he didn't take it personal. But he did grin up at her and when he reached the water he swatted some of it up at her. Just because he didn't take things personal didn't mean he couldn't mess with her!
"Wanna swim with me Siofra?" He asked innocently. He wasn't the best swimmer but he was better at it than his little cousin was.

He nodded toward his mother. He was one of the better swimmers in the family so he didn't mind being the one to watch and make sure everyone was safe. However, when he saw his little brother splash water toward their cousin he sighed and rolled his eyes. "Alright none of that." He moved over and picked Zohra up so that he was almost upside down and grinned at him. "You don't want to make her hate the water now, do you?" He leaned forward like he was interrogating him.
