A Guardian's Resource for Awakening & Upgrading Senshi This manual will review everything that a Guardian Cat should cover with their Sailor Soldier upon awakening so that all newly awakened Sailor Soldiers start out on the same footing. Guardian Cats must be understanding, to a point, anticipating that humans are prone to things such as disbelief and denial when faced with the truth of things outside of their normal scope of existence. It is the duty of a Guardian Cat to guide them anyways and assist them in the process of coming to terms with their new powers and abilities.

Awakening Prior to proceeding with the process of Awakening a Sailor Soldier a Guardian Cat should make sure that they are somewhere that they will not be interrupted or detected immediately upon awakening if at all possible. If a Sailor Soldier is awakened into a situation in which they must immediately defend themselves please call for back up when able to ensure ease of transition as well as to reinforce the idea of team work. Sailor Soldiers are not alone in this adventure! They have Guardian Cats and they have each other, don't let them forget that!
Start Up Gear
Henshin Pen - In order to channel power from their celestial source, all Sailor Soldiers need a henshin pen. Each pen produced is of the same generic design until the first time it is used at which point it syncs to a power source, taking on the primary color of a Sailor Soldier's fuku as well as the symbol of their celestial source. Once bonded to a Sailor Soldier their henshin pen cannot be used by anyone else and a Sailor Soldier cannot power up with out it.
Side Note: Please make sure the new Sailor Soldier is aware of this information and review Powering Up while providing them with their Name. (ex Sailor Mercury, Sensh of Water)
Sailor Fuku - Once a Sailor Solder has powered up they will be in their fuku, or Sailor Uniform. This uniform will be the same each time a Sailor Soldier powers up. It is proof that they are linked to their celestial source and are now able to draw from its power in order to do great things.
Side Note: Please apologize if necessary for the Fashion Sense of the Universe. Guardian Cats do not have control over fuku design in any way, shape or form.
Communication Device - After their first power up a Sailor Soldier should be instructed on how to access their inter-dimensional space. This pocket can be used to store small items -- in this case it comes pre-equipped with a communication device. Sailor Soldiers should be instructed to power it on and keep it with them at all times, in uniform and out. This communication device cannot be powered off and does not seem to require charging of any sort.
Side Note: Please ensure that the communication device is properly linked to the Network and see to it that the Sailor Soldier is added to and can access your team's Group Chat.
Basic Information
State of Affairs - Provided a Sailor Soldier is awakened in a space where it is safe to continue conversing a Guardian Cat should take the time to inform them about what is going on by moonlight. What is the current state of affairs for Sailor Soldiers? Is there a current objective or goal? A Guardian Cat should make sure that their new charge has all of the information they may need to make decisions and act in their own best interest until the next team meeting or training session.
Side Note: If a Sailor Soldier is awakened into a situation where they must immediately defend themselves please skip to 'Basic Magic' and schedule a follow-up to discuss the State of Affairs.
Basic Magic - A newly awakened Sailor Soldier may find it difficult to call upon their magic the first time, especially if they are unable to concentrate on the feeling of the power now inside of them. A Guardian Cat should reassure their senshi that the ability is there and they need only find the words to call upon their attack. These words are unique to every Sailor Soldier and frequently tie back to their name and sphere that they have influence over -- both of which should have been revealed at the time their Henshin Pen was acquired.
Basic Skills - Guardians should also inform their new charges about the boosts that they will receive while powered. Things like Strength, Stamina and Agility will be heightened and, with the right training and practice, can be honed into proper skills. A Guardian Cat should also take the time to review sensing auras, advising a Sailor Soldier on what types of feelings they should drift towards and which they should avoid at all costs.
As a last note of reassurance, it is understood that the above information is a LOT to review and may take some time to settle in. It is for that reason that a Guardian Cat should confirm that they are there for their senshi should they need guidance, carrying on the long and proud tradition of partnership between Mauvian and Sailor Soldiers in protecting the galaxy.
If, for any reason, all of this information cannot be covered during a single setting please schedule follow-up visits and touch-bases to connect and communicate! A newly awakened Sailor Soldier should have all of this information within one IC week of their awakening.
