Welcome to the All Hallow's Eve celebration! This is a time where Bastion's Rise celebrates the lives of those close and dear that have passed, as well as those who have died saving others. The celebration is both sombre and colorful as both life and death are celebrated in tandem! There are also candy, games and festivities for the people. Come, grab a candy bucket and have some fun!

To participate you must rp. To count, you must have at least one rp with the character totaling 75 words or more each time you roll. This can be done in this thread, or in the appropriate Discord channel.
Each day you can roll one d20 for each of your participating characters. (See above.)
Candy Buckets do not require a roll, you get one for free for each character. Even numbers earn you a trinket. Numbers ending in a 5 and 1 get you a Familiar. Numbers ending in a 3 or 7 get you a Weapon. The Number 10 gets you a Spider Mount. If you do not want the mount you may grab a trinket instead. (The Weapons, Mounts and Familiars can be given to any of your characters.) If you get a 20 you may take anything you like (Only one thing). Also! Keep a tally of all your points for up to 3 characters. At the end, the people with the most points will win something from the Prize Pool below.
You may have up to 3 characters trying for the Character Prize at the end (but have as many characters as you like trying for trinkets). You must indicate in each post above said characters which characters those are. You may only tally each character's points to themselves.
For example; I am tallying points with Anastasia, Elena and Cyndal. I may not add Cyndal's points to Elena's or Anastasia's. I can only calculate Cyndal's points with her own.
You may not switch which characters are trying for the Character Prize once you have picked them.
Do not delete posts. Here or on Discord.
You may trade or give away prizes, but not points.
You may log these for rp points. However, you must log them as if you were doing a rp on Discord. One character per log only (unless you are rping them together). Please only do this if you are finished with a character in the Hallow's Eve Celebration.
More characters or trinkets may or may not be added as time goes on.
You are encouraged to find rp partners for this event, but it is not required.
Please post what prize you are taking in your post.
You may roll here or on Gaia but you may not roll for a character in both places.
You may only win one prize from the Point Prize Pool.

Ulric was off duty from working as a guard, and had finished training for the day. He decided to check out the All Hallow's Eve celebration. As he entered the main plaza where many of the events were set up he was given a candy bucket. It was a black one in a pumpkin shape. He smiled faintly and then gave a small laugh when his familiar, Dulce, slipped from his shoulder to slide down into the bucket. "Alright. I guess it's a good way to carry you around." He said. He began to look around trying to figure out what he wanted to do first.
Dusk came running towards the celebration, his pink candy bucket swinging in his hand. "Come on mama. Hurry up!" He called pausing to look back at his mother, "All the candy will be gone!!!" The word gone ended up being sort of a wail. He turned back towards the crowd and was off running again. He passed by a man dressed in brown with wings nearly running into the man's bucket. "Sorry mister!" He called out quickly heading towards a stall that had candy displayed.

Twilight followed after Dusk sighing with a smile on her face. It wasn't too hard to follow behind him as he wasn't particularly fast. She apologized to Ulric, who had almost been crashed into. He waved her off showing it wasn't a big deal. She caught up to Dusk just as he reached the stall with the candy. She grinned at his exclamations of awe and joy but it froze for a moment when she saw what the candy actually was. It appeared to be a new type of familiar up for sale, a candy corn type creature. "Oh no." She quietly muttered. "Dusk.... Now this isn't candy to eat. You can look but be careful. They are living creatures?...." She wasn't 100% sure if they were truly alive or if it was like a magical construct so her last statement came out more as a question, "And don't get your heart set on one. I don't think we can get one right now." She was doing her best to try and herd him away from this stall. She could barely handle two kids, how could she handle a familiar.

The air was cold and chilling to the bone. Excitement fill the night thought because today was the start of the Hallows eve festival. I high pitch squeal fill the night as Samantha made her way to the event. He hadn't ever been to one before but i was just super exciting. "Come Jazz! We going to the festival. "Yes i know and so does the dead." Jazz grumbled. He was not excited at all. Festivals for him ment get your tail stepped on at least once. "Oh come one its not all that bad." She said and scooped him up into her arms.
At the entrance, Same spotted a cool pumpkin pale on a table with a sign that read "Please take on pale and have fun." "Oooo look Jazz which one should pick they are all so different." "They all look that same to me." he grumbled some more. Sticking her tong out at her familiar and his sour attitude. "I think ill pick the blue one. It matches my out fit the best." Grabbing the pale she headed out in to the even hopeful to find fun.
The adventure had taken its toll and Davidian was soo ready to let loss. He was excited in his way, to got the Hallows Festival. It was not his first event but he just needed to find some way to have fun and this was a good excuse as any. "So you coming along rabbit?" he asked Astraea. "I suppose so. Someone has to keep you out of trouble after all." Davidian rolled his eyes at the familiar but deep down he knew she was right t come along. "Well ok off we go then."
Heading out he could see the festival was in full go mode. The closer he got the more the stress pealed off of him. At the entrance he walked straight through until his familiar stopped him. :Hey you are supposed to pick a pale." Grumbling he walked back and grabbed a black pale and head for the first game he saw.

Curby's favorite time of year had finally come around. His cart was here at the festival for the first time since he had come to this city. He had little to do except wait for people to come to his little “playground.” Come take a pumpkin for carving or cooking. They were especially tasty with butter or in a cookie or muffin recipe. And there were small ornamental gourds, brightly-colored bouquets, wreaths, crowns, really all kinds of wonderful seasonal things for people to try or buy! He even had some mulling spices for ciders and wines. The trouble of it was, he was a rather gloomy sort of person and even though everything was bright and cheery, very few people ever approached his cart.

Sunny was a new resident, so she had yet to make any friends. It was sort of nice to walk the streets alone, watching everything going on around her. But it was beginning to get lonely. She hoped that she would find some people to have a good time with this week. It was only the first day of the Halloween festival, so she held no expectations, yet. It was bound to bring people together at some point! So she walked through, looking at the wares of each of the stalls and watching dressed-up children laugh as they ran past, goody bags already full. She couldn’t help but wear a constant smile.

Sandy’s exuberance this time of year had not faded with age. She was just a barely-grown catlady anyway, she had every right and reason to be excited. Candy, costumes, cats, they all started with “C” and that was all the reason she needed to get dressed up and shoot out into the street and head for the festivities. If Dad wasn’t up to going, she wouldn’t let that bring her down. He was busy, she understood, really. She knew she should be adulting too, but she just couldn’t make herself do it. Not in the evening when the ground was moist and earthy-smelling, the leaves crackled along the pavement, and children laughed and screamed in the distance! She loved Halloween!

Lathyrus glanced around, his eyes alight with all the possibilities in front of him. Everything looked so fun! And yet, he still didn't want to venture too far from his parents, unlike Dusk he wasn't quite as adventurous. He glanced at his mothers while holding their hands. "Is it okay if I go too?" He was relieved when Aletris nodded her approval and let his hand free. He gave them both hugs and wandered off to where he saw Dusk go.
Aletris followed behind Twilight and the children, chuckling softly to herself about loving their energy. She stepped beside them and carefully looked at the strange familiars. "Hm. Maybe animated candy?" She wasn't entirely sure but that felt right. "But I would guess they're alive since they have faces." She wanted to touch one, but she wasn't sure if it would bite her fingers or not. They were definitely interesting creatures and if she had to guess they had to have been made for this event.
Anastasia was quite curious about what this "All Hallow's Eve" entailed. Last year had been the first time they had arrived at Bastion's Rise though it didn't seem like it was that long ago. Since then her sons, Lucifer and Emrys, and her daughter, Lesedi, had arrived to join them. She was glad to have some of her children join them, but she still worried about the others. Okay, maybe she didn't worry about Amara as much as she was more than capable of taking care of herself, but the others.... She sighed, they would be alright, Amara would make sure of it.
Anastasia had arrived at the party with Lucian and the twins in tow. She was unsurprised when her idiot of a husband beelined for the wine and began talking to a group of young women who had surrounded him. If her scowl could kill it would have but she tried her best to calm herself under the circumstances, she wanted to enjoy tonight.
