Is this it, real proof of an actual lizard person?? Is it a youma? The internet says it’s a hoax, and it’s hard to take it seriously anyway, even if there is something strange about it. It’s become something of a local joke; people have made memes about it and are dressing up as lizards and posing in similar alleys. And yet, there have been a string of attempted break-ins, with strange claw marks around the door handles.
Unfortunately, that was not to be.
She pushed the door to her room open, and there was her little sister, sitting in front of her laptop and apparently enraptured with something. Kirika let out a long, very exhausted sigh.
"Himi-chan, what are you doing?" She asked, very tiredly.

Himiko wanted to watch YouTube but she was really hated the child restrictions on her account. Luckily she knew a way around that, her sister's computer. So after checking to make sure her sister was busy with one of her boring dating games, she snuck into her sister's bedroom.
She got on YouTube and started watching videos. She got sucked into a video about someone who looked like a Lizard trying to break into a building. She was shocked to see it but she believed it 100%. After all if magical girls named after gods, and talking animals, and even monsters existed why couldn't lizard men. She wondered if mr. lizardman was another Youma like she had seen when she became Amaterasu.
That was when her sister entered the room but Himiko was so excited about her discovery that she didn't even notice the exasperate tone of voice her sister had. "Nee-chan look look! It's a Youma! We should go stop it!" She said showing her sister the video.

Kirika wanted to be mad, she really did. But the certainty in her sister's voice made her narrow her eyes. A YouTube video of a youma....that seemed deeply unlikely.
"I've asked you not to use my computer without my permission before," she chided, but it was half an afterthought as she moved closer to lean over her shoulder. "Now, show me this youma." She watched the video with a frown, trying to discern if she really believed it looked like a monster, and not, say, a person in a suit.
Ugh. It was hard to tell.
"...Perhaps it is a youma," she said, her voice soft. "Or some other sort of creature. It might be smart for us to investigate, yes. But we'll have to wait until okaasan has gone to sleep."

"Yay!" Himiko cheered as she spun in the computer chair. She was super excited to explore with her new magical powers. She hopped down off of the chair and left her older sister's room to go play in her own room until it was time to go check out the monster.
When night fell and her mother had finished their bedtime routine she snuck out of bed retrieving her hensin pen from her toy chest where she had hidden it. She snuck out of the house where she met her older sister.
"Amaterasu Power, Make Up!" She called as she twirled ribbons of sunlight wrapping themselves around her and transforming her into Amaterasu. She loved her new powers, it was so much fun. "Come on Nee-chan let's go!"

"Izanami Power, Make Up," the Senshi of Cremation intoned, and in a whirl of smoke and ash and embers, she was her magical self. She waited for Amaterasu to power up, and then gave her sister a thoughtful look.
"Do you know about where that video was shot?" She asked, idly, making a thoughtful face. "I don't want to wander all over the entire city hoping we run into something. That would be a complete waste of our time."
After all, Amaterasu couldn't stay out too late. She was much too young to sacrifice sleep the way Izanami did without a thought.

Amaterasu put a finger on her cheek thinking for a moment trying to figure out if she had seen the place from the video. "I think I saw a place that looked like it on an adventure." Her preferred word for sneaking out and exploring, she was always told it was dangerous to go to new places alone but she was always careful.
"Come on follow me!" She shouted with a giggle as she took off into the night. She moved like the wind, she had notice she was alot fast now even faster than her big sister. She bounced from rooftop to rooftop loving the thrill of it all.
She eventually reached the alley she thought was where the video was shot. She saw some pretty graffiti that she had seen in the video and a door that looked kinda beat up. "I think this is the place Nee-chan!" She called out to her sister waving her over. "But I don't see the Youma" She said rather disappointed.

An "adventure." Izanami sighed, quietly. It was cute, in its way, how eager Amaterasu was to be out and about as a Senshi, but she was also...nervous, that her sister might be a little too into the whole thing. A little unconscious of the risks. A little bit more eager than cautious.
She would have to keep a careful eye on her.
She followed, and was surprised to find that she lagged behind a bit--but she still did her best to stay on Amaterasu's heels. When they arrived at the alleyway, she hummed and ducked into it, poking aorund a bit herself. But the monster int he video didn't appear to be here, and she sighed.
"It looks like it might not still be here, Ama-chan," she said, and she reached over to ruffle her sister's hair. "But you did good, pointing it out and going to investigate. And this definitely looks like a place a youma might want to lurk. So maybe we'll have to come back another night and see what we can find, yeah?"

"Aww." Amaterasu whined. "I was hoping we could find the monster." She frowned at the lack of any action or excitement. But her mood brightened immediately when her sister complimented her. She laughed as her hair was ruffled. "Ok Nee-chan! Together we can defeat any monster I'm sure of it!" She proclaimed striking a dramatic pose like one of the characters from one of her animes.
"I guess we should go home since there's nothing here." She said, if there was no fun to be had then there was no point staying out here.
