With sun shining lazily just over the tree tops, Himitsu made his way to the village gates for his mission. He'd been assigned to a small squad tasked with escorting a small trade caravan. The trip was fairly long, about a week's trip, and while it was usually a safe trip, it wasn't terribly uncommon for large, aggressive bears to pass along that same road around this time of year. So the caravan decided to pool some coin for some trained help, figuring that at worst they've paid for some peace at mind.
Upon his arrival to the gates, Himitsu was informed by the Team Leader that his primary duty was observation and lookout. He'd be placed near the front to monitor for bears and whatever else might be an issue. Shortly after, their final member arrived, and they departed after a short briefing with the Caravan Leader. The first day passed without incident, which was pretty much expected due to it's high traffic and proximity to the village. After helping setting up the minimalist camp for the night, Himitsu checked in with the Team Leader briefly, and found a small clearing just up the road, roughly 30 yards into the woods, perfect for some evening practice before bed. "Forgot my sleeping gear anyway... The boy groveled to himself in his head, annoyed he'd forgotten it once again.
Trying to focus on his training, Himitsu closed his eyes, took a deep breath in, held it for just a moment, the released it slowly, opening his eyes as his lungs deflated. He formed his hands together into a seal, and began carefully channeling chakra to his eyes. It took nearly a full minute, but eventually his bright blue eyes shifted to a deep red, and black tomoe spun around his pupil briefly before resting in one place. Water leaked from his eyes as he blinked them a few times, still not quite adjusted to the Sharingan. Once the tears stopped forming and his vision acclimated, he took another slow breath and returned his eyes to normal. A slight feeling of relief washed over his head, as if a previously unnoticed pressure had suddenly been released. He gave himself a few seconds of rest, then repeated the process over and over again for roughly a half an hour. By that time he'd shaved a solid eight seconds off his time, and his eyes had mostly stopped watering with each activation.
Bored with standing still and posing, Himitsu began to move about the clearing while practicing his activation. He walked, ran, and jumped about the area, occasionally taking one hand away from the chakra molding to steady himself or grab something. His goal was to at least maintain the flow, even if he couldn't move any additional chakra into the actual activation. So far he was getting pretty good with it, rarely losing his channeling when only using one hand. As he got better, he got more adventurous, and inevitably got louder as leaves scattered, twigs snapped, and branches fell to the forest floor. Not to mention the boy's own breathing, which only became more audible the longer his actions went on.

Although, his jacket still smelled of smoke. He could feel the hive in his body getting antsy after finally coming out of the area of the fire. "No worries guys. We'll get you some exercise...with a little less excitement hopefully." He had enough of milling about on the shores and decided to go more inland for some quick cash. He had gotten a tip from a rogue buddy of his that a caravan was going to come through the Land of Fire. After his previous brush with a job gone wrong, he needed a calm win.
He walked through the woods as morning came, watching the native insects roam about the leaves of the canopy as he kept to the shadows of the treeline and staying off the main road. He wasn't trying too terribly hard to find the caravan. His muscles still ached, and the light was giving him a slight headache. He was beginning to second guess his plan to turn over a traveling party for their Ryo, but as he went a little further down the edge of the road he could hear the faint sounds of someone rustling through the brush of the woods.
Jackpot... Hikaru took in a deep breath and opened and closed his hands a bit. A few of the Kenchลซl he had stored flitted off his fingertips and scattered into the air before coming back to him and skittering about the surface of his skin underneath the jacket he was wearing. The gourd at his side buzzed in anticipation, their thin wings fluttering against the inside of the dried container. He lifted his finger and sent a small amount of chakra to the end of it, coaxing out one of the lighter insects to the tip of it. The small insect flew out beyond his reach and into the trees where Hikaru looked through its eyes. No matter how many times he did it, the sight of the world through the eyes of a kikaichu was always impressive.
It only took a minute for the insect to mark the target. A shinobi...from Konoha. He was training in the woods. He didn't seem like an academy student. Perhaps he was on the squad guarding the caravan? At the very least he could probably point him in the right direction. Hikaru ended his connection with his insect and shook his head before continuing on his way towards the sound. He waited in the trees for a while until he noticed the kid getting a little out of breath. It seemed like the blue-shirt was getting better at whatever he was trying to do. He took extra risks with his movements and started to focus on something other than his placements. Maybe he could use it as a way to get some information. Hikaru stepped from the bushes carefully and into the light. "Hey, what are you doing?" He put on a look of concern on his face, albeit a fake one, and crossed his arms.
In the light of the sun coming through the canopy, his shadow appeared extra dark compared to those around him, and just at the edges of the darkness, there was a subtle shifting as if there were small insects crawling along the edge of his shadow. If one looked close enough...they would appear as spiders walking along the border of his form, only seen in his shadow on the ground.
The growing sound of rustling bushes gradually drew Himitsu's attention, turning himself toward the sound as it stopped and a boy probably around Himitsu's own age emerged. Himitsu dropped to the ground as the boy asked his question, making eye contact with the boy as his sharingan activated once again. A quick glance at the newcomer revealed a fair amount of chakra moving about around him. Despite his best efforts however, Himitsu couldn't quite discern why or what purpose it served, but he was beginning to form a few guesses. Something about him was a little unsettling, even though he wasn't particularly creepy or imposing. "It's almost like everything around him is... dimmer. Weird..." Himitsu kept his sharingan active this time, and answered the boy's question. "Just out getting some exercise."
The young Uchiha adjusted his posture into a more casual looking stance, crossing his arms in front of him in a conversational manner. Despite the appearance, Himitsu hovered his hand near the Lightning Seal on his arm just in case he needed to retrieve his bow suddenly. Once in a more "relaxed" position, he asked his own question. "What are you doing traipsing around in the woods?" Himitsu had at least come in off the road; who knows where this stranger had come from. Apparently not in any immediate danger, Himitsu studied the other person a little closer, taking in his actual appearance. He didn't seem to have any identifiers of a shinobi, but that didn't necessarily mean anything. He had casually approached somebody clearly marked as an Uchiha as well as a Konoha shinobi after all.

Hikaru began to speak before noticing the boy's Sharingan activate. He had heard about the Uchiha from his father, but he had never seen one up close. The stance the shinobi had taken was defensive at first, but now it was more relaxed. He had no intent in being immediately hostile. This was probably in Hikaru's favor. He could feel the Kidaichu near his bones quiver with excitement. This kid had a lot of chakra. Enough to make his insects feel on edge. "I waaaaas looking for a caravan. I thought it was supposed to come along this road, but you're the only person I've seen out here all morning." The bug tamer dropped his arms and put one hand in his pocket and rubbed the back of his head with the other.
"How long did it take for you to get your eyes?" Hikaru shifted the conversation back to the stranger as casually as he could. While he asked about the Sharingan, a feisty kikaichu ran across one of his own eyes. He blinked a few times after it happened to readjust his focus. As long as he had them that feeling never became less ticklish. He shifted his stance to put weight on one leg more than the other and rested a hand on his hip right above the fan that was folded against his leg. He had basically just admitted to planned larceny and was ready for the Uchiha to make a move if he was jumpier than anticipated.
The newcomer's reason for creeping around in the woods sounded rather suspicious, and put Himitsu a bit on edge. "Ahh... I've heard a few things about that myself. I've also heard they've got a pretty tough escort, so I'd hate to be somebody trying to pull one over on it. The boy took a typical "cannot confirm or deny" position on the subject while keeping a conversational tone. His eyes darted over the boy once again as he moved slightly, now drawing the Uchiha's attention to the fan at his side. Between that and the weird chakra flow about him, Himitsu felt it was definitely safe to assume this guys was at least familiar with ninjutsu, assuming he wasn't a full-on shinobi. Possibly a rogue or just a skilled bandit, but he wouldn't be sure unless the boy mentioned it himself so the thought was rather pointless.
When the boy asked his second question, Himitsu looked slightly taken aback, his brow furrowing and his head moving back slightly for a fraction of a second before composing himself again. "That's a bit rude to ask somebody with the sharingan. Obtaining it is a pretty personal ordeal that most people don't like bringing up. I will say I've had it long enough to take advantage of it."Himitsu gave the boy a half-smile, and relaxed his stance once again. He placed his hands just below his hip with his elbow out, but made sure he was able to quickly grab a few senbon from his pouch if needed. "My name's Himitsu, by the way."

"Man, I'm exhausted. Where's that caravan? I want to get this over with." Itori wasn't really all that tired. Not physically at least. He hadn't done anything all day. In fact, he spent most of the day sleeping. Until now at least. One of the benefits of wandering from place to place is that you can eavesdrop on a lot of conversations and sometimes pick up on information you aren't supposed to know about. For example, a caravan leaving from the leaf village full of traders. The goods aside, the logical conclusion would be that they would have a fairly hefty sum of cash between all of the men and women. The only problem would be their escort, Himitsu.
Itori had spent a fair bit of time inside of Konohagakure. Anyone who had seen him within its walls would recall him as being "Tabito," the wandering medic. He only heard Himitsu's name in passing, around the same time he learned of the caravan's existence. Regardless of who exactly this escort was, or what they were capable of, it did make things more difficult than Itori would have liked. Still though... He wanted that ryo. His blonde hair was purposely messy, it helped to keep him from being recognized as anyone other than his assumed alias. Blue eyes peered straight ahead. The contacts he was using irritated his eyes slightly, but he was mostly used to them by this point.
His body carefully weaved through the trees, avoiding contact with any foliage or low-hanging branches that would cause him to make noise. He didn't want to alert his targets to his presence. As he walked, the faint sounds of voices hit his ears. From what he could make out from this distance, the conversationalists didn't know each other. The odds of one of them being the escort were high, approximately an eighty-three percent chance by Itori's estimations. Quick glances at his surroundings, and suddenly he was doubting if the potential ryo haul was worth the effort. If he tried to go around, there was no way he could do so quietly. As he went to turn around to backtrack a bit, his ears picked up on a particularly intriguing piece of dialogue. 'So there's someone else who wants at that caravan?' Itori was curious now. He decided to move closer to the source of the voices.
He was careful to remain silent. Controlled breathing, avoiding any greenery that would make noise if he touched it, even going so far as to stick to the darker shadows to stay out of sight. Once he had reached a point where he could visibly make out the two boys in the clearing, he stopped, positioning himself behind a tree and peering from behind it, the direction of the sun's light peering through the forest would make it difficult for the edge of his face to be picked up as he read the situation he was looking at. 's**t.' It wasn't long before he noticed the signature markings of both Uchiha and Konoha. On the same individual, nonetheless. Itori wasn't necessarily surprised, but it did mean a couple of things. First, the Uchiha had to be Himitsu. Second, he had taken a very miscalculated risk getting this close.
If Himitsu was proficient enough with the sharingan, then he'd be able to see Itori's chakra even with all of the precautions he had taken. At this point, he had to hope that the other boy was enough to hold the Uchiha's attention, at least until Itori could think of a route to move elsewhere. From his hiding spot, he was between them, slightly closer to Himitsu's position, so luckily he'd have to take his eyes off of the stranger to be able to notice the purple chakra signature that Itori was likely to give off. They kept shifting stances. Neither showing any clear aggressions, but both poised at the ready. At this point, all he could do was keep calm and wait, but man, he couldn't help thinking.... 'This is exhausting.'
Akira had heard rumors of a caravan traversing through the region, but she had paid them little mind as finding some traveling troupe really did not equate to the slaughter she had left behind her in a rural farm-house not far from where the four ninja were soon to encounter one another. "Thank you, Lord Jashin for accepting my sacrifice.", she said in a moment of reverent prayer to her profane deific master. "Still...one can never kill too much.", she hummed in conclusion before setting off among the trees to locate this entourage.
Akira had been carving a path of death all the way from the land of Moon Country, and tales of her deeds were whispered like urban legends. Now she had graced the Land of Fire with her destructive tendencies that usually came and went during the night, leaving somebody lifeless in the process. She had been careful to only murder and sacrifice the frail, feeble, and old to Jashin. They were people already standing at death's door, she simply came in with her scythe like a shepherd's crook and tugged them on through, albeit a lot more violently than the peaceful embrace of eternal slumber that might have claimed them otherwise. It was probably those details which made her rather an enigma and relatively unknown for the crimes she had committed personally.
Upon arriving in the outskirts of the clearing in which Himitsu and Hikaru were talking, Akira stayed to the tree-line, perched in a higher limb as she watched the proceedings below her. One was obviously a Shinobi belonging to the Hidden Leaf Village, his headband and Uchiha symbols made him stand out as one of those straight and narrow, wear a uniform types. She could only assume that the other one was likely just another individual in the woods, though he certainly wasn't dressed for hiking and exploration. 'Doesn't matter what they look like, I suppose either would make a suitable sacrifice for Lord Jashin.', she considered internally as she silently watched them while cradling her scythe. She had not noticed Itori really, but she wasn't looking for him either. No, she simply lounged like a tree-top predator, waiting for the proper time to strike.
As Himitsu spoke with the newcomer, he occasionally glanced around for any additional people that he might've missed earlier. At one point, he thought he might've caught sight of a wisp of somebody's chakra, but it passed quickly and he was unable to find it again. It lingered in his mind briefly, but when he still couldn't find it a moment later, he brushed it off for the most part. The uncertainty still put him on edge though, and he made a point to look about more frequently as he continued his conversation. While the two talked, Himitsu slowly looked over the odd chakra around the boy and finally came to the conclusion that the it was his shadow that was causing the chakra to flare out. And near the edges of his shadow, were those... spiders? Creeped out by the idea, he glanced about again. This time he spotted a new chakra source high up in the trees. It was clearly moving toward them from the other way he thought he'd seen the other chakra, which really put him on edge. Luckily it stopped an adequate distance away for now, but it was close enough to tip the shinobi over the edge of comfort. "Alright, look... If this is an ambush, you've already failed." The young Uchiha spoke louder this time. "I see all of you out there. I'll give you this chance to come out on your own. If I have to come find you, I won't be pleasant about it." Cover? Blown. Of course it would be, he had walked towards a situation involving an Uchiha. It only made sense. Especially after he had started looking around. Whether this was due to nervousness or experience, Itori did not know. However, what he did know was that this was not a lucky turn of events. As soon as Himitsu spoke, Itori retreated behind the tree he was using to mask his figure. He took a deep breath, swearing repeatedly in his mind. If Himitsu could see his chakra clearly, he would see his hand raise up and rub his face, however this seemed more like an action of dread than anything. He stepped out from behind the tree, bright blue eyes peering through the retreating darkness and slowly made his way forward. However, his slow gait was timid in nature. "S-sorry. I didn't want to get in the middle of whatever you were doing. It seemed pretty t-tense," the lie came out so fluidly and naturally that distinguishing it as false would be an arduous task for even seasoned veterans in fields of interrogation and analysis. This was second nature to Itori. However, an alarm went off in his head immediately. Not only did the other stranger vanish, but according to Himitsu, there was at least one other person around them. Was this meant to be an ambush after all, orchestrated by the mysterious vanishing rouge? Either way, Itori's body was on guard.
Akira sighed as Himitsu called out, she could tell he wasn't bluffing and that he could see her. It was likely due to his enhanced perception of those red eyes. Though, be that as it were, she was not into being intimidated by somebody who thought that just because they could see her, meant they had the upper hand. She came down from the tree and landed softly, though her scythe impacted the ground with a 'thud'. "Tsk, tsk... Now that's not how you ask somebody nicely. Ultimatums. Threats? Classic shinobi single-minded negotiation tactics...if you can call them that.", she remarked in a bored huff as she looked over to Itori and then to Himitsu with a sly grin. Two to one odds, or so it seemed.
Death, otherwise known as Akira, lofted her scythe up and placed it on her shoulder. "So you see me? Now what? Hmmm~, Mister Big Boy Pants?", she mocked with a wicked cackle at the end of her interrogative string. She really did not care about what Himitsu had planned. The Jashinist was ready to erase him, or attempt to with her lethal kekkai-tota. Few had seen the destruction Dust Release could bring, and even fewer were prepared to counter it, even if they could see it coming.
To Himitsu's surprise, the wisp he'd just caught the tail of turned out to be another person after all. The male emerged, oddly apologetic but apparently sincere. He had an air of familiarity to him, but Himitsu gave up the thought when he couldn't place it right away. "So... you just happened to be out here at the same time? Himitsu raised an eyebrow at the suspicious boy before glancing back toward the other presence. It quickly approached and revealed itself to be a woman wielding a rather large scythe. She didn't waste time in engaging him verbally, speaking of threats and ultimatums. "Hey lady, I just thought I'd give a fair warning. You see three strangers roll up on you at once and you'd be suspicious too." The young Uchiha kept a light but firm tone, trying to exude a confidence he didn't have. A two on one fight against two strangers with a possible third still lurking around was not something he was terribly itching for.
When the woman swung he scythe up on her shoulder and began her apparent taunts, Himitsu dropped the polite bit and took a quick step back. He quickly released his bow from his Lightning Seal and held it tightly in his hand, no arrow or quiver in sight. The single tomoe in each of his eyes shifted slightly as he glanced into the woman's eyes to cast his Inflict Emotion Technique [Ataeru Kanjoo no Jutsu] from his sharingan, attempting to instill a feeling of intimidation as he spoke again, his body appearing to grow slightly due to his sharingan's influence on the genjutsu. "You don't want this fight." His tone wasn't angry, or even malicious. It was matter of fact. A simple statement. "Best case scenario, you tire yourselves out killing me. By that time, three more people at least as strong as me will already be arriving. We're only a day from the village, so even more people will be here to hunt you down before you even get time to sit for your next meal. Wind ruffled the canopy of the forest overhead, dropping a few leaves into the clearing around the trio as Himitsu took a few steps to the side, taking a better position between the two unknowns. "Does all that really sound worth it to you?" His heart raced as he spoke, never having been outnumbered while alone on a mission. Sure, his teammates might show up if he made a big enough scene, but who knew what kind of power these two could be packing. For now, all he could do was get himself ready, and hope it was for nothing.

Although there was no intention in the white haired man's movements, they seemed to still hold a sort of weight to them. Each step chosen carefully, but also with little meaning at all. Something he would not be able to explain to anyone if he was being honest with himself. He simply felt a certain way about it, it was very off putting to have these new abilities so suddenly. He could feel the energies all around him and it was far from something he could truly comprehend as far as the young man was concerned. 'Is this what the mages of The Order used and felt?' He questioned, himself wondering if the people from his past were simply stronger than he truly realized. If that was the case it might prove to be a problem for him in the near future. From a bit of a ways away, through the forestry he could hear something. Commotion that seemed like a combination of words as well as rustling of greenery. Perhaps he would head over in that direction and see what was going on? No, it wouldn't make sense....although perhaps it would. Interesting people were what interested him the most after all, perhaps those around would be interesting.
His path shifted to move towards the noise. Words being spoken by someone reaching him in their entirety as he made his way forwards. Explanation that sounded rather...well...threatening if he had to be honest. Although the most interesting part about it wasn't the words themselves but the tone of the one speaking them. They didn't seem malicious or angry, just as if what they were saying was something you'd need to say on an everyday basis. He wondered who they were talking to, he wondered who they were. As the white haired man's form walked from the green and into the clearing everyone else was in words would escape his mouth. He probably wasn't even sure that he was saying them. "If you are strong, then perhaps it is worth it." His tone was simply that of a normal form of speech. There was nothing special about it, and even his expression only showed normalcy. The fancily dressed, some might say oddly or uniquely dressed young man clearly hadn't even taken the time to think about hiding his presence. He simply walked out into the open and spoke as if everything was normal. Perhaps it would put the others off, maybe make them wary? Who knew what it would do really?
Akira felt weirded out by the sudden application of genjutsu from Himitsu. She had rarely encountered such a skill, and was not used to it's application. Instead she swung her scythe up harmlessly and shouldered it. Hitotsu's appearance did nothing to sooth the sense of unease she felt about attacking Himitsu. "Grrr...It ain't worth it. Besides, even if I wanted to take a Sharingan eye, his are little baby ones.", she said as the aspect of death tried to play off the fact that she was hesitant or showed doubt in the moment. She did not mind if Himitsu took insult to the maturity level of his doujutsu, as she had sort of poked fun at the lack of tomo like a rude female might insult a male's certain endowments or lack there of.
In the moments leading up to this one, Akira had never once been forced to hesitate or contemplate reaping a soul for Jashin. While she had not attacked nor broken any of the tenants of her religion, she felt a pang of disappointment from her god. "Besides, I just wasted an old geezer in the small town not too far from here. Lord Jashin will forgive me if I don't pick this fruit before it's ripe.", she admitted casually, before bowing her head and then throwing an arm out to the side in a grand gesture. "Akira Genji, or you might know me as the Grim Reaper. I get rid of the sick and elderly, but goodness I almost made an exception for the Uchiha boy... and don't worry. I wont erase your little caravan. Not a priority.", she said with a toothy grin full of confidence. She might have misspoke or given away too much about her capabilities by hinting at erasure, but there was a chance that none of them knew anything about Dust Release, so she might be in the clear in that regard as well.
The arrival of another person unnerved Himitsu even further. "This was supposed to be an easy mission... This new person, dressed all in white with hair to match, seemed to be almost goading the strange woman into attacking. Luckily his genjutsu seemed to have swayed her decision enough. A minor relief, for now. Himitsu carefully readjusted his position once again, trying to keep these strangers as within his field of view at once as possible. The woman's remark about his eyes irked him slightly, but he gave no response beyond an involuntary, irritated brow twitch. What she said after... That turned the young Uchiha's stomach. Jashin. Things started to click about the woman then. Her weapon, her fashion, her tone... "Jashinist." The word dripped from his mouth like a filthy slur that even he despised. Himitsu had never encountered one personally, but they'd done some serious damage to friends of his in the fairly recent past. She introduced herself with an uppity bow, a movement that tempted Himitsu to strike while she her face was down. He might've even decided on it, but something about knowing she was linked to those freaks nearly paralyzed him. From the moment Jashin was mentioned, Himitsu had stopped making any moves he didn't need to.
Akira's continued intro implied that she didn't kill completely indiscriminately, so maybe she wasn't quite as psychotic as the ones he'd been told about. "Or waaaaaay more psychotic... She mentioned something about not "erasing" the caravan, which seemed like an odd phrase. Maybe that's just how she distanced herself from her murders. Maybe it was a nod to his skills. If it was the latter, it didn't clue the genin in on anything. He briefly considered the shinobi he'd heard of that could create things with their art, but he'd never heard of them using an eraser. Eventually he gave up trying to decipher it, and moved on. "So... What? You're The Reaper," The boy shifted his red eyes from Akira to the man in white. "You're The Angel," Then finally rested his gaze on they boy the bright blue eyes. "And you're on a walk?" Himitsu looked around the area once again for the original person he'd encountered, but still couldn't catch any trace of them or their chakra. "He must be long gone. Whoever he is, he's not with these guys."

While Himitsu was preoccupied with the woman, who would soon reveal her name to be Akira, Itori changed his position a bit. He tried to stand in such a way that he could keep an eye on both the Uchiha bodyguard, and the scythe-wielding stranger. He was trying to ensure that he wouldn't be perceived as a threat right now by using the guise of timidity to make himself smaller, pulling his arms as close to him as he could and hunching over slightly. For further effect he forced a slight shiver to course through his body at seemingly random intervals. All a carefully crafted faรงade. Itori was not truly afraid in this situation. He had no idea what Himitsu was capable of, nor was he aware of what this Grim Reaper had in her arsenal, but he did know that he could simply leave the area if things became too intense. If the Uchiha felt even a marginal amount of recognition towards Itori, then anything more than escape would prevent any future dealings that the blonde haired boy had in Konoha.
He chose not to respond to Himitsu once they were all in the clearing. Instead Itori would observe the interaction between the shinobi and the strange woman. 's**t,' he thought. Himitsu's shift in tone to meet Akira's taunts, to Itori, seemed like it could be the spark needed to trigger a brawl. However, before things could escalate further, his eyes noticed a shifting mass of white not far off. Having to turn his head to get a good look at yet another stranger unnerved Itori slightly. In doing so, he was limiting the focus he could keep on Akira. However, the newcomer seemed less like an immediate threat, and more as an instigating force to push the Uchiha and.... Jashinist?!
A chill ran down Itori's spine, and he made sure to freeze where he stood. No sudden movements. His lack of interaction with Jashinists meant that he was no longer sure the best way to navigate this now infinitely more complicated standoff. The one thing that he knew of Jashinism, was that its followers were known to be indiscriminate killing machines in the name of their Lord. However, his sudden and intense panic was relieved as the rest of Akira's statement registered in his mind. She seemed to have her focus more on weaker individuals for her rituals. Perhaps she had an "Angel of Death" complex. His father had explained it to him a few years prior, but he never thought he would ever encounter something of that nature on his own. Confirming his theory was not an option.
As the relief washed over him, Itori's body naturally resumed his normal posture. For a moment, he was unaware of this change. He looked around, from Akira to the white haired newcomer, to Himitsu. The Uchiha looked to have had a similar reaction to the religious revelation of the scythe-wielder. For a moment Itori pondered what was going through the leaf shinobi's head. Was he, too, curious of the way she mentioned dealing with the caravan? Erasure wasn't commonly referenced, which hinted at something more to her arsenal. His focus turned then to the one who had yet to introduce his name. His white clothing was an oddity. Unlike anything Itori had seen before. He stared at the man for a few moments before Himitsu spoke to him. It was at that moment that Itori realized that he had given up his facade, now acutely aware of his carelessness. "Yeah... I was trying to get back to Konoha, but I don't know the area too well." Itori hoped that his lie would be enough to sooth Himitsu's suspicion, or at the very least he would overlook the sudden change in posture. Himitsu did seem to have his focus divided quite a bit, perhaps the sudden disappearance of that other individual had him on edge.
