Everything had honestly been absolutely, positively, and UTTERLY fine for the past year and a half for Chara. Sure, he was bored out of his mind being a loner at home once he ran out of RPGs to play. And sure he was doing the bare minimum to fulfill his obligations to both the Negaverse and his own Schooling. Had he the choice, he wouldn't have gone back to university either way. It wasn't as if anyone was waiting for him to suddenly become smart and useful beyond the power he held already. And yet here he was, being lectured again by some wannabe Negaverse Guidance councilor trying to convince him that he would actually be better and more productive if he applied himself. It was hard to deny the appeal of his chosen field of expertise... Botany could be applied for both the betterment of people, and could steer folks further into a path of destruction.. But damn were those general studies courses killer on him. A singular Psychology 101 course wasn't going to make him become better at what he really wanted to do! It was that outburst of annoyance in no fewer words that got the councilor to slap a file before the short, angry little lad. An old file of what seemed to be an... Old Guard? Someone with expertise on the same thing he was curious about, plants and properties for advancement... Huh. It wasn't often at all that Chara saw someone who had been around for quite some time. His own time here in the Negaverse seemed.. Sparse. Hells, everything seemed sparse and empty in his mind, given his short history thanks to whatever mysterious circumstances surrounded his corruption. ... Hehe, the idea of teasing someone that much more allegedly experienced than him seemed way too much up his alley to Ignore. With a half eyeroll, he snatched the file from the councilor and teleported... Right to Romano's, inside of a Storage closet that Chip had used one too many times for shenanigans. In the next instant he was powered down and peeking outside, tip toeing around in the few hours right before the school would end for the day. While he wasn't exactly older looking, especially given his short stature at a whopping 5' flat, he still wasn't wearing the school uniform, and clearly looked like a little gremlin scurrying around the Teacher's lobby. It took a minute, but once he found that office with the name 'Reynard Michaels', he snuck right on in, plopping himself in the empty seat. Teachers came by their own offices at the end of the day, right? Yeah! He was POSITIVE whoever this guy was would stop by soon enough! He just had to wait! Shiningamisgirl Please let me know if this works.

Reed was tired, the day had crawled on and on and - ad naseum of nuanced little annoyances - there was no point in imparting a single nother word or thought to it. He could *leave*. Would leave as soon as he’d gathered his things and… Reed froze up, tensed in the framing of his open door with fingers wrapped around the handle of it, spied a body in sanctuary within the chaotic halls - not one he recognized. He knew his charges faces, *his students*, kept meticulous jealous eyed track of them. Each and every one of the hot blooded, youth emboldened, energizer bunnies that fell under his tutelage. Under watchful eye and pressured heel of how he applied his specific realm of expertise. Wary green gaze that cast across the room as he eased the door open further by degrees - that tracked to see if there was anyone else present, except the white haired youthful appearing body sat in one of his chairs. “I’m sorry, but who are you?” Terse, crisp words. A softer question than the ones he wanted to ask. Could lob a soft ball this ones way, would get him sorted out or thrown out of it turned out this really was some prank and someone had snuck back here without invitation.

Theo's own honeyed gaze rested on that door before him hard, willing for someone to finally come through so he wouldn't be bored out of his mind! And thank Metallia that someone finally came though. But uh... They were dorkier than he thought. ... No, no, they looked exactly like he thought. A big ol' nerd full of learning and all that. He WAS a teacher after all! And that thought only made Theo grin wider and wider. "I am Theo, and I'm sure you're wondering 'now how did this incredible kid get into my office, past all the other faculty and guards and what now?'. You're smart, right? Use that brain of yours and come up with a conclusion. 'Who would have the audacity to come into my office during daylight hours for a one on one talk?' Surely you can think of SOMETHING, right?" He absolutely grinned, pulling his long, fluffy, white ponytail out from behind him, over his shoulder, before leaning further back in the chair and thumping his shoes up on the desk. "Come on, big boy, I know you can come up with the answer!"

What had his curiosity, the person before him? Now, oh, now he had his full unfettered attention. Reed's thinned line of a mouth fell into a frown, fell into something that beckoned thoughts of a man sucking lemons through a straw. Distaste. For the tone, for the assumptions, for the gall of being goaded into action in his own space? For the shitheel that had his litteral feet up on his desk, sat in his space like he owned it. "Forgive me, Theo, is it? If I leave you disappointed in whatever you seem to have gauged is me being in possession of an 'astounding' intellect." Shut the door behind him as he moved in. Clicked the lock with it. All finality in the motion of it. Reed between the man, the door, the - clearly not a child for however his behavior may have suggested otherwise - for how his stature and youthful looking face may have given off the idea that he was, indeed, someone who still could've been in attendance at the school. "I can think of many things... truly....The question is what to do with these things I'm thinking? Do I summon security to remove you, for trespassing? For having the audacity to do so." and his ceiling was suddenly very interesting. More so than the man seated and grinning like a man demanding attention. "Do I remove you myself?" tsk of noise, and Reed wondered how much he should entertain this one his theatrics.....

Ooh, the man was coming closer, as if trying to intimidate him, and that only served to widen Theo's grin. Was this all meant to scare him? No way out, no way to move elsewhere? The very thought made him snort laugh, pulling his feet down and spinning in the fancy chair in a very clearly taunting manner. "Who says they could remove me?" He shot back, idlly pulling at one of the straps on his eyepatch. "What makes you think I haven't already thought of the risks of what could be faced coming here? And what makes you think big mouthed man like you, spouting off words like some sort of ******** thesaurus could ever have the power to make me do anything? Come on, dude, think. Think. What is this place? Where are why? Why is this school special? And what makes me so confident to barge in here with no fear at all! Come on, genius, I know you know the answer!"

"Then you understand how absolutely idiotic you are for coming in here like that? Do you realize where you are? The risk of your inane little antics - for what - to gain my attention? Am I missing something Theo..are you something to me. Someone oh-so worth knowing, that the useless little syllables that make up your moniker should inspire me into action?" and Reed sighed, wondered what he'd done to invite this one in from the universe to burden him. To disrupt his day so thoroughly that he'd have to state the obvious. To roll his eyes to the heavens and shake his head over - well - maybe this one was cracked? Always a possibility..."This - is a school - nothing more, nothing less. The insinuation of anything else? No - the risque nature of your careless actions? That is telling enough." narrowed considering gaze, and Reed couldn't fathom what the boy hoped to get from him. What revelation he sought to pull. Was he showing off? Was he peacocking, really? As if there was a point to it - something to be gained other than the spouting of words.. "Is there something you want from me? Aside from a fight, which...you can put your cocksure grin away. You won't get one from me like that." a dismissal heaped upon dismissal, Reed waved Theo off; severity of his frown that stuck. Struck with wonderment - sheer bewilderment - at the person who sat spinning before him. Both of them clearly away of the founder and foundation of the place - and yet someone had seemed to forget to pass the memo on to this one? To avoid ousting the whole of the place with...well... There was nothing to be done for it. Reed had survived too long to be so easily baited. No matter how irate the situation made him, how it twanged strings like chords errantly plucked, raised his hackles...He was a teacher. This? Nothing new. The only difference between scuffing this one and one of his students was a manner of 'how'. Which approach to levy, point of a spear, to derail the silliness displayed before him.

"You really are jumping the gun, aren't you? What risk am I taking by being here? I snuck in sure, but not without alerting those who needed to know where I was going in. And I took a calculated risk by arriving here. Should I have followed you home? No, you would have been perhaps even more resistant to talk, or should I have just pulled you to me? No, no, that would have been rude, because what if you were in the middle of taking a s**t? Or teaching class? You see, I have a surprising amount of consideration. I have been around this block once or twice or three times, but I thought maybe I could have a little more fun with you? And you know, perhaps I still can." A brilliant idea popped into Theo's head, one that had him hoisting himself up off of the chair and striding over to Reed with a grin that could be described as nothing less than s**t-eating. "Before you protest anymore, let me just say, You've really got me curious now. What better way to convince you that you know the answer than to show you myself?" The closer and closer he went, the more sly he tried to seem. As if to surprise this older, taller, and probably a bit smarter man. And once he was close enough, he placed a surprisingly strong grip onto Reed's shoulder. Just as the man had thought he trapped Theo, Theo could trap him right back. "I suppose then.. You're coming with me." It was a split second later that Theo transformed into his Eternal Sailor form of Chara, and a split second more that Chara teleported them both into the Negaverse with ease. More specifically, to his office in the castle. The trip naturally forced Reed to power up, something Chara had remembered from his first forced teleportation into it himself. But he wasn't cruel with it. No, there was no throwing about the Lieutenant, nor further taunting. In fact, once they arrived, Chara brushed off his companion's coat while they still recover from the trip, then hopped onto his own desk, crossing one striped leg over the other. Prim, proper, as if he owned the room, which in this case, he did. While his own desk was plenty huge and commanding, as an Eternal's Desk should be, there was a smaller, much less covered in paperwork desk beside it, ticking away as gears moved along it's side. The room itself though was filled from top to bottom with curious plants, both from Earth, and those of the crystalline variety, even more pots were filled with slightly squirming plant youma, too tiny to be of any harm to anyone, but clearly snappy enough to hiss when one passed them. It would be safe to say that this room looked less like a proper office, and more like a verdant miniature Jungle. "Go on then, take it in, then tell me whatcha gotta say." Chara cheekily winked, leaning forward rest an elbow on his knee, then his chin in his hand. "And before you lecture me about putting your students in danger, can it. The T's and I's are dotted and what not, we're fine."

Ire that it garnered, loathing that flitted across Prehnites features, glittered briefly in his emerald gaze as he was pulled through time and space, through the void, into a space, yanked into his own power unbidden, and forced to face down the Eternal that lingered like a friend before him - that offered baited, tempered threats. One upon the next, heaped in all their placidity like waste in a pile. Prehnite could imagine, with vivid clarity, how things would've gone if he'd done attempted any of the things he spoke on. If he really itched so badly for a fight? Rude was not the word Prehnite would've used to describe those actions. Treasonous, damnable, an outright invasion of policy and rules inscribed therein. His school and home hollowed grounds - sacred spaces - and here this one dared to encroach on either of them? Without reason? Without seeming to want anything other than a chance to ' show off'. As if Prehnite were some fresh young thing that could've been entertained with such a flashy display. Prehnite could only gather himself up, roll his shoulders and step back out of reach, step away...and wonder.... "You are a seed that has fallen amongst thorns. A choked, and deadened thing. Surrounded by things that are beautiful, as if that will detract from the ugliness of your attitude. The only thing to take in, here? Is you, and you're not much to take in at all." and there was no mirth in tone, no awe, no surprised gasp for the lackluster reveal. Prehnite didn't exactly entertain 'pleasure' out of being accosted in office on grounds and then dragged from it. Whatever inane thing the Senshi might have believed. He wondered briefly if this one could've been lured into the hall that went beyond halls. If he could've called up Iolanthe to sick upon them in all her bloom and fury. Except he was an Eternal...and such things were frowned upon nowadays. "You've rank - you've stature - you've 'assumed' dominion over others. Like a leech. Striga on a stem, a corpse flower in bloom...you've sought to, what? Impress me with your colorful display, and array of abilities? To bloom in aura and hope I'd be anything other than disheartened at your need to do so?" sigh that bled. Water over drain, fed down sullied pipes, rusty with wear over time. Prehnite wondered what exactly it was the Senshi wanted with him, wanted of him so desperately that he'd go to all these lengths. Wouldn't lecture him on anything at all. Wouldn't make comment on his veritable verdant wonderland of an office. No matter how it bloomed and burgeoned with beauty and life around him. No. If the Senshi had wanted him for that? Had thought to introduce him in any sort of way that bordered on proper? Maybe then he'd have had enough presence of mind to pay attention to the surroundings. To give them their due. However? He hadn't. So Prehnite didn't. He'd never been one to cater or care to rank and file - those above him - those below. Had learned that some niches were meant to be filled with those who were less, and yet had 'more', in the way of so many things. Eyebrow that lofted towards the heavens themselves, scoff of sound, because unless those I's and T's were dotted and traced by Lepidolites hand. Prehnite held little regard for it. "Tell me - little Senshi - in all your supposing's - did you suppose I'd tell you to go ******** yourself? Unless you've something dire in need of my particular set of talents? I have actual work to get back to. You can have your fun with something else...go play with yourself, maybe? See if that fills your boredom; because unless you've an apology waiting to drip form your smile instead of vitriol and bile? I will not be that thing." and Prehnite gave him pause, gave himself pause, took a chance and ' waited'.

“… Oh gods, you’re one of those aren’t you?” Chara’s smirk honestly fell at that, replaced by a very clear cringing expression. Did Prehnite’s journal say that? Did his Negaverse dossier state that he was like this? He vaguely recalled there was info in there about how this guy had been part of the Negaverse a long, long time, longer than him, but still this power level? Still sipping the Kool-aid of what the Negaverse once was. “One of them weirdos who has no original thought of their own… Nah, nah, not like that no it’s more like… Hard core brainwashing? Like nothing is better than the Negaverse out there? I mean, yeah, the Negaverse is awesome blah blah, but like… Are you really going to pretty much call me garbage just because you have some preconceived notion of what the Negaverse should be? s**t, I honestly thought you’d be more like… Open minded? You’re barely older than me but you talk like an old man who keeps thinking about the war as it once was. Big news, old man, this ain’t the same Negaverse you once new, and you need to ******** relax and stop acting like some crotchety old goose yellin’ at the young folks who happen to skip across your lawn.” That cringe gave way to an eye roll, and then a heavy, audible, and overly dramatic sigh. “I admit, I am a wonderous thing to take in, aren’t I? Not much cuz I’m short, sure, but sometimes life just gives you a pair of heels and forces you to make do.” He wouldn’t let those stinging words get to him too much. Sure, this guy was a walking Shakespearean stereotype, but he knew his brain had just as much education as this dude did. Somewhere…. Probably locked up pretty tight, but it was there. “Oh, you’d like that wouldn’t you? Watching a high and mighty Eternal Senshi in higher rank than you just become a begging mess playing with themselves before you. What a suspicious teacher, suggesting that to a potential student. I’m not so big headed to not admit that, yeah, okay, maybe you weren’t the right person to tease, but geesh dude, seriously, lighten up. I can’t help but wonder if you have no friends at all with that attitude. Wait, wait, don’t tell me, you’re the kinda person who then goes “I don’t need friends when I have power or education or books or plants or what not” aren’t you?” Just the very thought of such a typical reaction had Chara snorting and hopping off his desk, landing with a small ‘clack’ of his heels on stone. “But fine, fine, alright how about this?” From where he stood, he gathered the flowing layers of fabric of his fuku and pulled them up, bowing at his waist in a pseudo curtsy. “I, Chara, Eternal Senshi of Chocolate and Loyal Subject of Her Grand Surpreme Darkness Metallica herself, Do solemnly apologize to uh… Prehnrite, yeah? I apologize for being such a wretched fool and acting like a proper 20’something year old who likes to have fun. And I apologize for kinda kidnapping you from school when you were working, though I stand by my assertion that you could have figured out I was coming to you as someone looking for school stuff, since, you know, you’re a ******** teacher… But yeah Err, something like that. Sorry.” Chara kept his head bowed, but damn was his eyes rolling at this point, not that Prehnrite could see it. “There, better?” You ******** p***k… he thought to himself towards the end.

Slow smile for the toddler's words, stemming from a mans mouth. A sigh for self aggrandizing that followed. As if Chara believed himself the finest c**k to ever have strutted through existence. Who spoke at him, as if Prehnite, or Reed, as Captain or Teacher, was the sort who would've cowed to anyone, regardless of rank. Did he expect to earn comradery that way? Was this how Chara made friends? He couldn't help but feel that Chara had missed his point. That there were ways to approach people, that even if the war wasn't what it was? People still died. Strangers popping in and out of offices? Dragging them bodily below when a simple text, or missive, or ping via tablet could've gotten the message across just as well? How he longed to impart that on Chara. "Would you believe I get paid actual money to do exactly that thing? I've taken up a Masters Degree in it. In fact, it was my major of study. s**t talking the youngsters into having manners, and getting the ******** off my lawn." arched eyebrow for how Chara spoke of himself as ' a potential student'. Has that been why he was there? The man who was Theo, that stood before him as an Eternal in rank. He was clearly much older than a child, clearly not a student of anyone's. Unless he was looking for colligate advice - and yet his phrasing was contradictory. To seek friend and educator in one? He said it clearly enough himself. He wanted someone to play with. Someone young and light and fresh. "Oh, Chara - you're no potential student of mine. Not behaving as you are, and you're very clearly not looking for a Teacher. You're looking for some other ' 20'something year old' to have fun with. I am sorry to dash your expectations, but I'm not that. Besides, look at you in all your intelligence? You've sussed out that I am exactly the person you think I am. In the most black and white concept of it; like ink on paper." and he would rectify whatever was read. Would make it salient to all, that if ever anyone came to seek him out in such a way - that there was a protocol for doing so. Loath to dash the potential hopes and dreams for something other, but Prehnite simply didn't work that way. "Educators? Should not befriend their pupils. It tends to muddy the waters, blurrs the line. If there are any who practice such things, I am not one of them. Those lines for me, those boundaries, are etched in stone, not sand. At least on my part." with this he could be honest. Could offer up his stance on how he treated his profession. The two were separate things, not to be mixed or married like messy watercolors. "I appreciate the apology, however pulled like teeth it was for you to give it, and I am open to offering you aid." in that he was honest. He would've happily offered Chara something - Except the man didn't seem to want for anything? Had not given up a single idea of a single goal. Popped in, proffered threats, demanded nothing other than Prehnite play games - tried to earn - what - his ire, his scold? For what possible reason. "If you ever decide you know what you want from me - if you can come up with a reason to seek me out - aside from needing a toy to chew on; to see how loudly I squeak. Summon me down 'here'. You've got the power to do it. " Easier to leave it at that - and he had the power to do so. Used it in that moment. To teleport himself from Charas otherwise lovely office. Thought maybe he'd spend some time in the rift with Iolanthe. The door that led to the hall of shadows would be a lovely enough barricade between himself and the world for a little while. A tunnel to somewhere beyond a summons...at least for a time...

The urge to snap out was there. He could feel it, the desire to just reach out and snatch out that starseed for being disrespected like some little worm. Even now, his fingers twitched and ached to just bury itself deep within that Captain’s ******** chest and just crush whatever was there. But he didn’t. What would Chip think if he walked in and saw his papa just ruining those around him? Wouldn’t his little kitten be disappointed in him? And what of that Negaverse Therapist he had been seeing? Surely that general would want to beat him upside the head with their clipboard multiple times until they knocked some sense into him! He could hear it now. Chara! You! Don’t! Pull! Starseeds! Of! Other! Negaversers! Just! Because! You’re! Irritated! Grunted out between whaps against his soul. And besides, it wasn’t hard to just tune out at the Captain who ranted and raved and continued to talk like some old professor who had nothing better to do than to hate on kids. … But he wasn’t a kid anymore, was he? That part was still hard to parse out. Honestly, by the time Prenhite toddled his way out the door, Chara had fully disassociated from the moment, until he was suddenly gone. And goddamn was the relief that hit him incredible. “What was I even thinking, wanting to be friends with a p***k like that?” He muttered as he stood up from his stance and stretched, heading towards a snapping youma that wiggled and preened angrily in the pot. Maybe it felt the same way he did, irritated. Chara stuck out a single finger, stroking the top of the youma’s head once, then twice, before letting his hand fall. His eyes settled on a potted plant nearby and a new idea popped into his head, maybe one that would work. “… Whatever.” Was the final word he grumbled before heading out of his office as well, teleporting back towards that office that belonged to Reed and grinning to himself. Sure, pulling starseeds was unacceptable, but… Filling an office full of potted plants over night could be both revenge and maybe something interesting. Something that could bring that ******** Captain back and talk to him again. He’d find out!
