Rydan 1
It started out like every other morning, with the myriad birdsong of Matori, like a fabled enchanted forest. He smiled, yawned and stretched, his muscles ached but that was nothing new, they were still growing, soon enough it would look like he could pick up a house, which wasn't true. He was always shocked at the size of his arms when he looked in the mirror, it was a side effect of his trade and if battle did come he would be able to fight like a wrecking ball.
He didn't feel very much like a wrecking ball at the moment, being utterly content. It was a day off as this was technically a vacation.
He nudged the being beside him.
"Good morning my Queen of Hearts, sleep well?"

When she felt the nudge she groaned. It had been months since she'd shared the news with Rydan that they were expecting. She'd gotten confirmation from a healer and practically ran right to her other half and shouted it at him while he was at work. Peeking an eye open she looked at her Tree Dragon. "I'd sleep better if you could tell your dragon spawn to get their foot out of my ribs." Thea grumbled slightly before reaching for one of the pillows to hug closer. She'd discovered that being able to lay on them helped out a lot more.

Rydan 2 He chuckled, faintly relieved that males could not get pregnant. Poor Thea had to put up with so much. "Get your foot off of mommies ribs precious, please for Daddy?" He whispered loudly to the feisty from the womb itself children. He rubbed her belly gently. "You are not climbing mountains and scaling cliffs yet." He leaned forward and gave her swollen self a raspberry for her trouble. "I hope that fixes it." He looked at her worriedly. Pregnancy did not look comfortable. Thankfully he had built up enough money that he could afford time off to help her in any way possible. Something that had been harder when the boys were young. He curled his hard muscles around her creating an impenetrable barrier consisting of his broad back. He kept her warm and put up with the tickle of her luxurious hair on his face. He nibbled on her neck gently. A dragon's good morning salute.

Thea grunted slightly as the rub to her belly caused the foot in her rib to move and push out. "Excuse me.. yet?" Theanduri eyed Rydan with a narrowed gaze. "Lets not encourage cliff climbing." It was bad enough she already had to worry about that with the twins. She shifted positions a little so that she was more comfortable, the pillow being brought to her belly to add cushion. "Mm, not sure if it fixed the problem, but pretty sure the foot is out of the ribs." Of course with them being awake it was only a matter of time before she got hungry and would need to get out of bed.

Rydan 3 "Well then we never let them outside when the boys are going then." He winced, it wasn't that much easier for him to see it when the boys did it. He couldn't imagine the horrible influence that big bro hero worship would have on their newest addition, or additions as he was beginning to heavily suspect. She was so beautiful all round with his children that it nearly burned his retinas out. He massaged her lower back to help release any tenseness brought on by sleep. They were interrupted by the growl of his stomach. "What do you want for breakfast Thea?" He was a fair hand in the kitchen.

Now that was tempting. Not letting their little one outside with their brothers. She loved Iexa and Lynx but they did dangerous things now that they were older. Of course they'd done them when they were younger too but that wasn't the point. She heard the growl of his stomach and couldn't help the snicker that left her. Thea turned her head to look at him and grinned. "Not hungry are ya?" She teased him. Of course when he asked her what she wanted she half purred at him. The fact that he was so considerate was nice. "Anything sugary. I want something sweet."

Rydan 4 Rydan's mouth quirked up, something sweet huh? He felt like extravagent crepes would fit the bill quite right, honey strawberries, chocolate. It would be memorable for all involved. He may even make whipped cream, if he had the energy. He knew this was going to make his sons bounce off the walls like miniature rockets, but maybe they would sleep through most of it, get full of sugar when they woke and he would kick them outside to terrorize his enemies. Then he would read and spoil Thea as he saw fit and enjoy this time with her to the fullest. He heaved himself out of bed, humming his favorite tune and set to work on a masterful breakfast.

She watched him get up and out of the bed, nuzzling down into the pillows more with a smile. Thea decided to stay in bed for a while longer, hoping that she could get some relief before she had to be up for several hours. The pillow was helping to ease some of the discomfort and with Rydan getting the dragon spawn to move their foot, which she was suspecting was witchcraft at this point, she might be able to relax for a little. She closed her green eyes to enjoy her time but kept an ear open for when her lover called out that the food was ready.

Rydan swished the tea towel like a whip and just like that breakfast in all its sticky glory was ready.
He yelled gleefully at his wife to come down. His silvery gaze eager for her delight. He had gone all out there were even sprinkles on the whipped cream. This sweetness would soothe the savage beast she had inside with all the cravings it could handle.
"For you my love." He said. He was gleeful that it had turned out so well. Sometimes he tried real hard and it looked like a Bushi ran over it. But this had gone well if he did say so himself. He grinned happily, and was sticking a finger in his own breakfast to serve up to his face.

She was hovering somewhere on the outer edges of sleep when she heard the call to come out for food. Thea opened her eyes slowly and glared at the room for no reason other than she could before she rolled to the side so that she could get up. It took a minute for her to get to her feet but once she did she was up. A hand rested over her belly as she made her way out to see what sweet creation Rydan had made for her. When she spotted it she smiled at him. "It smells wonderful." The thick sugary scent in the air made her mouth water and it also helped to ease some of the nausea that came with pregnancy. Thea walked over so that she could lean against her lover's side, her head resting on his shoulder for a second.

Ry wrapped and arm around her and pressed his cheek to her hair feeling all the world like a contented big cat. She was so beautiful that it made his heart hurt.
He let her get settled and sat down to his own meal. He stabbed a fork into the dough smothered in strawberries and chicolaye and his eyes almost crossed. It had not been a mistake to sneak his special stash of chocolate out for this. He has to hide it because of his sons. Otherwise there would not be a lick of anything besides high fibrous vegetables around. Blegh.
“Im so glad you wanted sweet.” The sugar seemed to rejuvenate him too. It was a fun point in his life. He vaguely missed the forge and having a structured day but this was a good break. Though somedays he was impressed at the amount of work a simple house accumulated. Enough thoughts of chores. Strawberry sauce dripped down his jaw.

"Wasn't me.. I blame the dragon spawn." Thea watched amusedly as the strawberry sauce dripped down Rydan's chin. Leaning over she scooped a bit of the messy food from his plate onto her finger then moved quickly to boop him on the nose with it. Afterward she grinned and laughed at him. The rest of the sugary food on her finger went into her mouth as she sat down to start on her own plate. "I was thinking of going swimming later to help relax." Thea had found out in her last pregnancy that being in the water helped to take some of the weight off her back. "Did you want to join or would you prefer to sit on the beach? I'm not going in too far." If she had to put too much effort into it then she'd get tired too fast.

“It would probably be good for me to go swimming with you, might help my tense muscles out.” He was used to banging heavy bits of metal together all day and sometimes when he wasnt doing that his muscles protested the lack of activity.
He was looking forward to it, should be fun without the boys trying to drown each other and being a general menace with their mad goggling and boisterous nature.
“Swimming it is.” He used a napkin and cleaned his face sonce she insisted on making it worse. It was impolite to pie the face of the woman carrying your babies though.
He sat for a moment quite full before clearing the plates away so they could chat if they wanted without dirty plates tempting errant elbows into landing in them.

She ate as much as she could without toeing the line of nausea. Thea didn't want to feel sick while she swam as it wouldn't be helpful to her relaxing. When he agreed to go with her she smiled at him. "Oh good, I won't have to worry about getting tired." After her plate was cleared away for her she murmured a 'Thank you' but her attention was on her belly. She could both feel and see the movement of the little one within. They seemed pleased with breakfast at least. Thea waited for them to calm down before she looked up at Rydan. "Want to help me change? Bending over is becoming a challenge again." Which meant she wouldn't be able to grab things from lower places without help.

“Sounds good love, Im sorry my spawn is getting so big so fast,” he remember the awkward last month with the twins when poor Thea truly struggled with having such a bulge on her normally quite lithe frame, she didnt have a big booty to balance it out. He did wish that she could see herself through his eyes. She was always magnificent. He got a little broody and a little extra protective when other males came sniffing around. He knew she was a flirt and he also knew she would never kiss anyone but her tree dragon but he still took great joy in chasing off males that didnt know the rules to their most fun game.
“We have to wait a bit before swimming anyway so we dont cramp.” He was quite delighted to be her back up swimmer.
He stretched and ambled to their bedroom ready to do her bidding.
