Now that I have your attention(don't you just hate that?) I need help finding a reliable Tablet. I'm starting to get more interested in Flash Animation, and using a mouse can be quite a pain. Yes I can still use my mouse, but a tablet would make the work exponentially easier.
I need a good, reliable tablet. The cheaper the better. I've been looking at the wacom graphire 4s and Intuos 3s. Graphire 4 is somewhat cheaper, but does seem to lack a few features that intuos 3 has.
If anyone has any help, please post. Tablet name, and a site would be extremely helpful.

I've got a Wacom graphire 3. It's pretty good and wasn't too expensive, so it's good for some one who has a hobby to use with it.

I've been reading some reviews, and now I'm contemplating selling a kidney. The Intous 3 just looks so amazing, and sounds beautiful. I just need the 200 dollars for one gonk

I too shall inquire here.... though not for myself, I have no artistic talent... all of my talent is of the literary variety it seems
but my wife loves art and has been studying how to draw in the Manga style.... so I want to get her one
I have been looking at the Graphire 4 (retails around $200 or so it seems) and I was wondering what people thought of it both from reveiws they had read or from personal experience

I haven;t used one yet, but I do know of a guy that uses this kind if equpment. I'll ask if he's heard of it/ used it the next time I see him. For I want to get one as well. Better and more accurate than a mouse when doing vector based art.

I just got the Graphire 4, and I must say, its damn good. I expected it to be kind of lame based on the reviews I read, and its awesome. The mouse that it comes with is kind of lacking due to the large area and not knowing exactly where it ends, but the Pen is awesome. There are a few options that need tweeking like the control for the pen, but other than that its perfectly fine. I do however understand partially why the thing is so damn expensive. The tablet comes 5 programs that would cost quite a bit on their own. Photoshop Elements, Corel Painter Essential, Evernote Plus 11, Just Write office, and Nik Color. Yeah, I don't know half of them either, but at least I have a legal version of photoshop now. I sort of wish they sold them barebones, but oh well. At least I have a good working Tablet now, and I can get to work on my flash movie without much trouble with my mouse.
So yeah, if you're looking for a tablet, just get the Graphire 4 unless you're extremely picky(like super a**l picky), or a graphic designer.
