Chambersite was absent-mindedly watching Roquefort chew on granola bar in his office and making quite the mess. He didn't worry though, the Youma would be hungry enough to eat any crumbs that fell. What Chambersite was more interested in was what the Lieutenant had to say on the situation. She seemed confident enough to face the Eternal even if it wasn't the best choice, though he figured she probably did it because she had a General and a Super Corrupt on her side. The battle hadn't sat right with him. To be called just for backup so that they could possibly capture a squire for forced corruption? A waste of their forces in his opinion. For the first time since he had become a General he decided to see if he could call the Lieutenant down since he had the time. "Let's get Cristobalite in here shall we?" He asked to no one. Roquefort might have heard but didn't give any indication that he had. He then summoned her and she appeared right in front of his desk. He raised an eyebrow. That was a power that could definitely be abused. "Cristobalite take a seat. Apologies if you were in the middle of anything." At 8PM. "Let's talk about that battle. Anything that you may have questions on or whatever else."pine de Rose edit: sorry forgot a title!

She'd have to get used to that. She'd been fortunate that the General that she had been assigned to left her to her own devices for the most part. Evidently while she continued to deliver on her targets and adhered to their principles she was afforded some freedom... but that did mean that there were some things she wasn't accustomed to and this was one of them. She did well to avoid looking too put out though as she found herself in the office, glancing briefly towards Chambersite and his youma before she did as she was told and took a seat.
Fortunately it was too early in the evening for her to really hunt her prey and interruptions at this time of night, while unexpected, were unlikely to cause any significant issues in the long run. She would still get what she needed done this evening, she might be out a little later than normal but she'd still achieve what she set out to.
"A little early for me to be causing trouble," she replied after she had taken her seat. She didn't seem too put out by the youma but she did know what it was and knew better than to let her guard down.
However his remarks about the battle she had found herself drafted in to recently...
Did she have any questions?
"I assumed that we would have a little more organisation during an assault," she conceded after a moment and shook her head. "I might be very new to some of this but it all seemed a little chaotic and my communicator seemed a little..." she grimaced. "There seemed to be some disagreements going on," she admitted.
"Should I expect all of these scenarios to be the same or was this more of an exception to the rule that needs to be reviewed by those at a much more senior level than me?" she asked. She had no place to render any judgements of her own in an official capacity but what had gone down hadn't been that professional. In the long term, she'd have preferred they were all on the same page!

Roquefort's bone-ears picked up at the entrance of the Lieutenant but it did nothing more to indicate that it was listening to the conversation. Chambersite thought about it for a moment. She was correct that they should have more organization. Romano's had taught them such after all, at least for anyone who had gone and was now an Agent. But it had been a highly uncoordinated attack. "You're right that we should have more organization during such things, but the problem is getting other Agents to cooperate. You need one General who is the main leader, and a battle plan so that everyone else can follow it. And everyone should be showing up as soon as possible so that it would be easier to follow any plan." He was quiet for a moment. "But... as you said, there are disagreements." He said with a small smile. "We shouldn't let that get in the line of work and we should have allowed Ashanite to control the situation. I believe all of this could have been avoided if Ashanite had planned this all out in the first place. He was there to corrupt the Squire. As I've learned during my time as a Captain, even those who have less power than you can be tricky to deal with. He should have had others with him in the beginning so that he wouldn't have any problems with the Squire in the first place." He moved over to his tablet and looked through it a bit to see if he could find any notes on another event. "I can't find it now, but you would be able to ask General Sylvite and what she did to capture the Eternal the she eventually corrupted. That was a much more coordinated attack and actually successful... even if the Eternal ended up purifying in the end." He said, only just keeping himself from rolling his eyes. "Personally I don't agree with corrupting someone who doesn't want to or who is already a part of the White Moon. That just leads to Agents who will more than likely try to escape and purify or die trying. But, I still went there anyway since a General needed backup."He put his tablet on the desk and moved to look fully at the Lieutenant again. "What I'm saying is if it's a planned attack then we will be a lot more coordinated, even if there are small things here and there that were unexpected. We Generals should do better." Perhaps it was something that he could work on. Attempting to get most of the Generals on the same page. "I would say, if it's a planned coordinated assault then we will be much more coordinated. Something that was random and happened like that battle? We need to work on coordinating attacks during such things, but for now will be a bit more chaotic than expected."He sighed. "That was a ramble but I hope you got what I am saying. The battle should not have happened as it did."

He definitely talked a lot more than she did but the majority of people did. From what she had gathered someone was trying to forcibly drag someone into the ranks and Chambersite didn't agree though. She could see his point and quite frankly if there was anything that could be learned from history, kidnapping and enslavement against something you considered abhorrent never went well. Cris would have been of the view that performing such actions were pointless, they'd expend far more energy ensuring they towed the line than simply removing them from the equation.
Evidently there may have been some Generals there that disagreed with the other's motivations and that might have been why it had turned in to such a mess. In the end it was safe to say that they had 'lost' and it wasn't the most pleasant of feelings, but she would learn from this and consider how best to approach it moving forward.
"I suppose it's a little more difficult to provide a unite front when two conflicting view points collide," she remarked. She wasn't referring to the White Moon and Chaos, more the possibility that some senior figures may have deemed this a waste of time and therefore refrained from sending in their troops. The story might well have been very different otherwise.
She did squint at one name though.
"I'm fairly sure that was at least some thing that I read in the database," she admitted. "With all due respect I think I would prefer to pursue execution in those circumstances and simply return the energy. Generally speaking those who are forced to do something have a rather bad habit of developing a spine at inopportune moments and I suspect I will have more important priorities than putting something back under my boot later," she mused.
Perhaps too forward, but she would prefer to be clear that she would have to be ordered and instructed to leave someone alive if there was a requirement for them to survive...otherwise they were fair game.

Chambersite looked at her for a moment before speaking again. "You'll do well here Lieutenant." He said with a smile. "I don't blame you for thinking that way. However if you are able to execute in such situations please tell me. I could recommend you to the Special Operations branch. I don't believe we have many Agents there. But then again we're all pretty secretive here." Roquefort continued eating after he had found another granola bar after shuffling around in Chambersite's bag that he had brought along. "I do agree. I generally find them to be useless and a waste. If we want members to stay then we need to take those who are willing. Not force others into it. I can't understand why the General's thought these would work well. Sylvite at least managed to capture the Eternal, but just because you form a... friendship with an enemy does not mean that the enemy is convinced to switch over.
"There have been a few cases of willing corruption, but those are few and far between. I believe your approach is what they do in other places in the world. And we're still fighting the Senshi here." He let the unsaid thought linger in the air for a moment. He would let her come to her own conclusions. "Is there anything else you would like to talk about related to that fight or just in general?" He said with a raised brow. He was generally curious. Most of his time spent for the Negaverse was out there fighting random battles, even if he didn't start most of the time. So he wasn't very familiar with problems that newer Lieutenants may have been facing. He would play his role as a General. There was no need to try and do so otherwise, at least not for the moment. He had done what he had wanted to do, and now he had to come up with a new goal, that was all. What that would be was a mystery for now, but he would still do his job as a General. He didn't want to be seen as insubordinate.

"You are the second person to recommend that I put myself forward for Spec Ops," Cris couldn't help but lift a brow. First Jadarite had mused over the possibility that she might be a fit, and now a General was mentioning a similar career path. Given that she genuinely had no issue getting her hands dirty, if this was a path that was more efficient and got things done, then perhaps it was something she should consider.
"What are the requirements to get in?" she asked curiously. "Is it simply a case of being recommended or are their legitimate steps I need to take," she continued. She could at least find out what the requirements were and then if they seemed reasonable and the overall manifesto within the branch suited her, then it would be something she pursued in earnest.
She wasn't here to make friends or to step gently in the grand scheme of things (there seemed to be more than enough softer agents around). If there was a means of delivering on their aims through much more direct and practical means then it would be safe to assume her curiosity was piqued.

Chambersite tapped around in his tablet for a bit. "A combination of both. I don't believe they're going to just accept you because you were recommended, but unless you are recommended I don't believe that they would go to you themselves..." He tapped to see who was in charge of the branch. "As organized as we like to say we are, there isn't much once you get to the General stage. Many are still free to do what they want. Unless your Captain or General commands meetings then you'll be left to your devices most of the time." He scowled. There really should be something done about that. Even if the Senshi weren't that organized, they certainly seemed to rally in a battle. "You'll want to get in contact with General Queen Hessonite. I can send a message if you want, or if you want to wait and see then I can send something later or gather some other recommendations as you mentioned that I wasn't the first." He looked at some of the basics of the branch on his tablet. "Battling Order-aligned Senshi and Knights... that seems obvious. Need to keep ones body in peak physical condition, training new recruits in combat techniques, finding and eliminating threats to the Negaverse with zero hesitation... delivering punishment to agents." He closed the tablet. "Seems pretty clear to me. They're going to expect quite a lot out of you, but I think you would be able to fill out all of their requirements."

Chambersite had provided her with significantly more information than she had received previously. Yes, there was much information to their disposal in their tablets but when it came to real world experience and targeted guidance her options were somewhat limited. To have someone make specific recommendations and to clarify certain positions was invaluable for her. He had already provided her with food for thought...and quite frankly that position did sound intriguing.
"I think that perhaps it would be in my best interests to be a touch more useful before I present myself for anything specific," she admitted after a moment of thought. "Not that I don't appreciate your offer to put me forward now, but I think that perhaps building a more iron clad case with a proven track record," she waved her hand, chastising herself for the rambling she personally thought she was doing.
"In short I would prefer to build a portfolio and gather further recommendations first," she pursed her lips after a moment.
"And I would appreciate a measure of guidance on where to start with that," she continued. "Particularly troubling or problematic regions, subjects that you are personally aware of that might prove more challenging?"

He nodded. "I understand, though I'm sure they would be happy to have you. You can get back to me whenever you do need that recommendation." As she continued to speak and asked about him on more guidance, from the corner of his eye he could tell that Roquefort had slightly perked it's "ears" however it continued to eat. "Yes, that's fine. I'll tell you if I hear anything then." If the Lieutenant wanted to prove herself he would let her. It would get rid of troublesome pests and give him some competence as a General if he could lead a Lieutenant to getting rid of problems. But that would come with time. He couldn't send her out right away to do anything to dangerous. He didn't want a Lieutenant under his guidance dying at the first mission they were sent on. "I'll let you know. It means I may summon you randomly." He didn't want to waste his time waiting for someone to answer to a message if he was giving them a mission, especially the type she was asking for. If she was wanting such things, then they would be missions that needed to be taken care of asap. "You're free to go now if you don't have anymore questions." He said with a nod towards the door.

"An orders an order, if you need to summon me to make sure it's executed quickly then so be it," she replied. She had risen to her feet by then, taking the time to straighten out her uniform. Given that she had been dismissed she knew better than to overstay her welcome and it was with a small salute that she made her way to the door.
"Thank you for your time, Sir," she added as she opened it. She had no follow-up questions for now, but she was at least pleasantly surprised to have received a measure of guidance she had been lacking and confirmation that she might well be deployed at certain points. In the meantime all that she could do was work on her portfolio of successes and ensure that she accurately, and effectively, conducted her missions. That meant that moving forward she was going to have to learn to dodge some of the bigger pains in her a** until she was ready to go toe to toe with them.
...Maybe that would be her first mission.
Yeah, maybe she'd go and figure out how some of them knew where she was.
"Enjoy the rest of your day," she finished and with that she stepped out side once more and closed the door behind her. Since she was here the woman would spend some time in the barracks and review some of the materials available to her. It seemed silly not to use the opportunity while it was there, and when she was ready to head back she would do so. For now though Chambersite could get on with whatever other things he needed to do and the Lieutenant would stay out of his hair!
