"It is a bit later than usual," Rakovanite stated as he landed at the edge of a balcony overlooking a residential apartment complex just across from the University campus. Given how much time he'd spent attending classes and how frequently he'd gone out for a brisk morning jog, Rakovanite wasn't unfamiliar with the locale, but it seemed... strange to him, that this was where he'd catch Narcissus.
They'd literally never once met on campus, in any facet of their lives, and though Rakovanite knew rationally that of course Basyl had attended class here, it was somehow difficult for him to imagine a younger Basyl sitting in an auditorium classroom, instead of the med student he'd first encountered.
And now practically full-fledged doctor, hardly a year later.
To spend time here of all places while powered, though, instead of the more active bars and clubs hardly a few blocks away seemed... wasteful. No cars pulled into the parking lot, no groups of drunken friends hollered as they made their way down the street. It was just a quiet building, with most of its residents likely already tucked in for the night. Waiting up here for any single soul to pass by was droll. And since Narcissus didn't come out as often as some (not that Rakovanite was keeping track, or anything. He definitely didn't have a Mauvian creeping after Basyl, waiting to inform Nat when he powered up so that Rakovanite could find him), Rakovanite might have assumed the senshi would want to do his work quickly and efficiently.
Apparently not.
He stalked closer, enough to bring them side-by-side, though not so much as to be touching. He faced the edge, but the slight cant of his head was enough so that his eyes were only on Narcissus. "This is not usually how you hunt for victims, is it?" He prompted quietly, with only the slightest edge of jugement injected into his tone. "It seems very... slow, and like you have put yourself in a place to get very little help if Order would be out to attack you."
