[ Liio 1 ]

Liio was taking a break from his travels and restocking his resources for the next leg of his travel. It was typical of his trip, to take a break, restock, and rest up before moving on to the next settlement. Travel was something he enjoyed, but he begun to wonder if he should ask his sister to go a bit further than the trip to Zena and back again.

Lost in his thought, he didn't notice until it was too late that someone had nabbed a small beaded charm from his hip. It was something his father had given him, and frustrated, the hybrid let out a curse.

Kitya was still adjusting to life on the road. The reserved mage had taken to mostly hopping from settlement to settlement while looking for her sister and today was no different as she took the time to browse a small market to restock supplies. At least it hadn't seemed different until someone's curse caught her attention. "Hmm?" Kitya blinked in surprise before feeling someone quickly brushing past her. "He-hey!" The young Yaeli gasped before patting at her hip. They had taken a small purse from her belt! Thankfully it wasn't her money purse, but it was a lucky charm given to her by her aunt in Yael. It was supposed to keep her safe while she explored the world, but now Kitya had lost it. Or rather it had been stolen!

A frown crossed her lips as she walked up towards the boy who seemed to be in a similar position. "Did you get a look at anyone? I lost an item as well." She crossed her arms with frustration before trying to survey the crowd. How was she supposed to track down her charm like this?

"Yep." Kitya let out a sigh before glancing around hopelessly once more. "He brushed past and I didn't get a good look either. So much for having a charm to help me out." She tucked back a stray curl before focusing on the stranger again. "Hopefully it wasn't something too valuable for you? Mine was a small charm from Yael, but I suppose I can do without it even though I would have liked to keep it." She spoke lightly but it was one of the few gifts from her family before she had left to travel the world. In a sense it had brought her a lot of comfort the past few weeks while exploring. But what was she supposed to do? Go and pat down everyone she saw to see if they had it?

"At least you have an option of a replacement." Encouraged Kitya though she doubted she could get a new charm unless she went back to Yael. Perhaps it was just a good sign to let things go now. Time to move on and focus on the present not linger in the past, right? Kitya shook her head before the question brought a chuckle from her lips. "Yeah, just a little bit right? I decided to go explore a bit since my father likes to adventure as well. I was hoping to find him while he was traveling but I haven't seen him or my sister who is also out and about." Kitya gave a slight shrug. "At least I still have my actual supplies though that thief will be disappointed to just find a paper charm. What about you? Traveling or is this your home?"

Kitya raised a brow at that before nodding. "Adventures are always nice." She mused with a small smile. "Roaming parents? So sounds like you may have to wait on your charm as well. I wish you the best of luck though with your travels and finding your parents. I may actually be off to Belrea myself..." The mage pursed her lips before glancing about the market. A sudden idea had just occurred to her since they both had lost their charms and seemed to be unable to reclaim something similar anytime soon. "What if we found something and made replacement charms for the time being?" She offered thoughtfully.

"I see." Kitya nodded before grinning at the other comment. "Because of theft?" She teased before leading the way. The girl browsed several stalls before finally stopping in front of one with little wooden carvings of animals and the like. "What about these? See anything here that could be fortunate?" Maybe she could grab something like that kinfa there where it looked like she could place a small gemstone in its claws? Would that work?

Kitya glanced towards the boy. "Should I just keep you as my charm then?" She teased lightly before glancing back over the display. "Usually it's just something that strikes your fancy. If it resonates with you then that should be your winner. It can be for anything, good luck or blessings for anything else you may need on your journey."
