He wasn't sure what it was, but tonight felt different. For a moment he couldn't tell why. He was here once again on his favorite rooftop, making sure to keep an eye on his wraith as it drained energy. He had been caught too many times by others on this rooftop. Maybe he should find an new draining rooftop. This one attracted too much attention. And he found the same thing happening again, this time with what felt like another chaos aura. Different from the Dark Mirror... Corrupt? Is that what they were called? He seemed to remember having heard that name. He took a look down below, making sure that the Senshi wasn't coming in the direction of his wraith. He had been warned about it being destroyed and he did not want to deal with the hassle of getting another one. He took a look in the direction that the aura appeared to be coming from, but couldn't see anything at first. Still, he did know to look out for a lot of hair. It seemed to be some sort of consequence of being a corrupt from what he had been told. He was certainly glad he didn't need to deal with that mess. Seiana_ZI Hopefully this is okay for a start!

Nembus wasn't sure what that feeling was. She had run into plenty enough of chaotic auras and order auras by now to pick them out -- or, at least, she thought she had, but something felt different about the aura she felt at the edge of her consciousness. It wasn't anything that felt like it would be unfriendly like the way Order auras, especially at their strongest, could occasionally make her feel sick, but it didn't feel like anything she was familiar with, either. She filed this under new experiences and pushed on toward it. What she saw was unexpected - a dark-clad senshi, like her, but without the long hair. She could tell they weren't corrupt like her, but she wasn't exactly certain what they were except -- A Dark Mirror Senshi. She had read of them in the databases. Potential allies or enemies, dependent. They were supposed to keep an eye on them. "Ah, hi?" but Nembus wasn't terribly inclined to fight. From a distance, she asked, curiously, "What's that? Doesn't feel like a youma." She was referring to the mirror wraith.

Bell kept his gaze on her, nothing showing in his face. He nodded his head. "Hello." He said, returning her greeting. He looked down in the direction she had been looking and realized that she had been talking about his wraith. "Ah, that's a mirror wraith. It's the way Dark Mirror Senshi gather energy. We can't just uh, do it ourselves like you and Agents can." He didn't mean "you" in just her, he meant Corrupt Senshi as a whole. He was pretty sure they did it the same way as Agents at least. "I can tell it where to go and such, but it can get full of energy and can be seen by powered people, so I have to be careful." It had given him some trouble at times. It did make for a nice target. He looked back at her. "I haven't met you before. Since we don't seem to want to fight each other, it's okay to talk. I'm Bellerophon, Dark Mirror Senshi of Chimera. And you are?" He let the question linger as he gave her a questioning look, hoping that she would return the information.

Interesting. So they didn't have the innate ability to gather energy in the way the Negaverse can. Could also, in theory, be interrupted and destroyed. She supposed that was an advantage in that they didn't necessarily need to reveal themselves for the energy-draining, just send their wraith out. A disadvantage in that it was probably easier to take away considering it didn't seem like he could just shove the mirror wraith into a subspace pocket. "Suppose that's a blessing and a curse," offered Nembus, crossing her arms under her chest. To be honest, she wasn't sure which method she would have preferred. Maybe neither. "Ah, yeah, not particularly interested in fighting." Mostly just figuring out who and what she was looking at. "It's nice to meet you, Bellerophon. My name is Nembus, Super of Electromagnetism." The Dark Mirror were supposed to be those they kept an eye on, but it didn't outright say they were enemies. She saw no issue with sharing that information. Of course, she also saw no issue with sharing that information with Order. Perhaps her priorities were askew.

He let his shoulders relax a little. At least he wouldn't be fighting tonight. Maybe. He wasn't sure if he could trust a Corrupt after all. Even if they weren't enemies most of the Dark Mirror didn't even consider them allies. It was just too bad that the Dark Mirror used chaos for their powers. If they didn't and used something besides Order or Chaos perhaps they could have been a truly neutral faction. "Electromagnetism?" He looked at her outfit. He could see the theme of it and nodded. "I see. Yes I wish we had a better way, but this is all we have for now. Though I believe at higher levels we receive more wraiths, but I can't say for sure." He didn't think that information was too secret. He didn't tell her that the wraiths were quite fragile when they were full of energy. "Anything special with Corrupts? I see you have those cracks, but does anything change compared to if you're an Order Senshi?" He was mostly curious. He wasn't sure how he would feel to have a hole in his head. Is that what it felt like? Or was it more superficial. Honestly he would be paranoid about anything making it's way in.

Was hard to be truly neutral when Chaos was what influenced their existence. She understood, at the very least, that their priorities were different than the priorities of the Negaverse. They seemed to have different focuses than those of the Negaverse -- the Negaverse seemed more focused on ridding the Earth of the invaders that were the White Moon. She didn't get the impression that was the focus of Dark Mirror. She wasn't sure she could see 'chimera' when she looked at him, but to be honest, she wasn't sure if a chimera had a standard look-- "Fair enough. I assume you're at first level, then?" That would have backed up with the aura she felt, as unusual and to the left as it seemed. Ah. The cracks. Nembus looked down at the crack in her chest, reaching in toward it for a moment and wincing as she felt her own starseed. She withdrew her hand without the starseed, unwilling to actually take it out and look at it. She didn't know if she could trust the Dark Mirror. She knew that starseed shouldn't have been accessible. "Yeah. We can take out our own starseeds." She put her hand back at her side, shaking it out. "I've heard Order Senshi can go to space -- we can't, but we do have the Negaverse." She paused, tilting her head. "And what makes you different than the White Moon?"

He nodded. There wasn't really a point in hiding anything from the other Senshi. It's not as though being a first would be permanent, he hoped. He did show a quick look of disgust when the Corrupt mentioned being able to take out her starseed, but quickly moved back to a neutral face. "Ah well that... explains the cracks then." He wasn't sure how it all still worked, but was sure it didn't feel comfortable. Could other things go in them? That left many disturbing questions that he didn't believe he wanted answered. He shrugged. "We use chaos as well to be able to use our powers. And we have our own reality that we can go into. And we can walk through mirrors as well. I don't believe the White Moon have that." He said with a small smile. "I'm not sure if we're too much different from them other than our powers and what we draw upon. We do need to take energy just like the Negaverse. We just have a... different way of doing it." He didn't mention mirror wraiths for the moment. They were precious and he didn't want his being destroyed if he could have stopped it.

Nembus did catch the momentary look of disgust and couldn't help the small blip of a frown. He was probably right to be disgusted by it. They shouldn't have been able to access their starseed. Spoke of the wrongness of what she was, the rightness of Metallia, the -- Nembus' eyes widened at the realization of her thoughts. She buried it down. "Yeah, it does," she rubbed her shoulder with her opposite hand, listening to his explanation. Their powers were sourced from Chaos, but they could wall through mirrors. She supposed that explained the name dark mirror, implied that their chaotic power source had something to do with mirrors. The different way of doing it caught her curiosity, but she made the connection to the mirror wraiths he had mentioned earlier and nodded. "No, I don't think any of the White Moon can walk through mirrors," she noted, with a snicker. "At least, not any I have met." She paused, tapping her foot in thought. "So you say you can walk through mirrors - do you have any other abilities related to mirrors?"

He thought about it for a moment. "Other than the reality that I mentioned I don't believe we do. Other than perhaps not being able to be corrupted." From what he remembered being told. He shrugged. "That's as much as I can say, I'm still quite new myself." It hadn't even been a year that he had been a Dark Mirror yet, just closer to having learned about all of this in the first place. "We have powered abilities. I assume you guys have your own magic, though I don't think they are different? I mean our spheres our so our magical attacks would be, but anything else I wouldn't know." He was becoming a bit more relaxed through the conversation. The other appeared to possibly be thinking about something. What it was he wouldn't ask about. They had just met and were barely acquaintances let alone friends. Still, it meant he knew more in the Negaverse than he had before at least. It felt that they hadn't been talking for long, but somehow it appeared to have been longer according to a digital clock showing on a building. "If you want I can get away from here if this is your territory. I tend to like hanging around rooftops just waiting for my wraith to drain people, but if that's bothersome I can go elsewhere."

So almost the same as the White Moon except for being able to travel through mirrors and incorruptible by the Negaverse. Interesting. He didn't say they couldn't be purified, so he could still go back to being White Moon if he wanted. Or... go to White Moon. She supposed he hadn't been forced into this the way she had. "I think so. You said your magic was chimeras, right? Mine is electromagnetism. Deals with superheating and electricity and blinding people, from what I've been able to see in my uses of it." She rubbed her shoulder. "So the content is different, but I imagine everything else is the same." Interesting. More in common than different. Perhaps that was why she needed to keep an eye on them. Territory? Did she really have a territory? Nembus mostly lurked around on roofs, withdrawing to fulfill a quota and very little beyond that. She even tended to avoid starseeds these days -- it was something she had done long in the past, but now the concept of starseeds made her heart jump into her throat, never mind the fact that it wasn't fully necessary. "I don't mind if someone else stays here," she replied, rubbing her neck. "It's not like there are so few people in this region we both can't get our quotas, right?" Destiny City was a big city. "So if you want to finish up your energy gathering here, by all means."

"That makes sense." At least if he remembered what electromagnetism was. He might go and look it up again, but her powers appeared to be physical like his. He took a look around when she mentioned that he could keep draining and as much as he wanted to... he still didn't quite trust the Senshi in front of him. They would need to meet more than once to have him start feeling like she wasn't going to surprise attack him. He shook his head. "I'm fine for the night. We don't have a quota or anything so it's more of a "do it when we can" sort of thing. We still need to do it, but aren't pressured to take all of it that we can at once. But I appreciate the offer to let me stay." He said with a small smile. "I think it's time for me to go though. As much as I would like to continue, it's getting late. Even if we are powered, sometimes I don't feel like that's enough, you know?" He wasn't sure what he was trying to say. Was it because he was a basic Senshi and she was a Super? Or the lingering "what else may be out there?" that was in the back of his mind? He didn't know, but he knew he was starting to feel tired. It was time to go, before it got so late that he had to sleep outside. He gave her a wave and then jumped from the rooftop to the next as he made his way home. Perhaps if he was a Super and could travel through mirrors he might be able to make cooler exits. For now though he would just have to get there without the help of a mirror. Seiana_ZI Hope that's okay for an ending! Or we can continue it if you wish!
