Hobbies:

Collecting Unicorns -- Mercy -LOVES- unicorns. If it has a unicorn on it, she will buy it – or make her father buy it. She will barter, beg and bargain to attempt to get a new unicorn for her collection. It doesn't matter if it's a stuffed animal or a ceramic show-piece. If it's a horse with a horn on its head – she wants it NOW.

VTuber -- A hobby she fell into after a long dive on the internet, she saved up the money to buy a Live2D avatar and the proper recording and sound equipment and has been streaming content on the internet under the guise as a Unicorngirl. Her VTuber persona is named Seraphina Stardust, and she streams every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, mostly gaming content but she sometimes does tea reviews.

Tea -- What was once badgering her father into having tea parties as a little girl has blossomed into a love, no, a passion, for tea. Custom blends, rare leaves, she wants to brew it up and at least give it a try. And yes, most of her tea settings are unicorn themed, how did you guess?

Pros:

”An abundance of mercy…” Compassionate -- Much like her name states, Mercy has a lot of mercy when it comes to people, and it tends to show in the form of compassion. She will very often go out of her way to make people feel better, even if it means giving up her own time or things to do so. There are limits to this – she won't be pawning her extensive collection of unicorns any time soon. But she is inclined to take care of others, and feels bad when a situation doesn't allow her to do so.

”Every cloud has a silver lining…” Optimistic -- Mercy often looks on the bright side of things. She would rather look at the up-side of things than dwell on how things may not be going according to plan. She tends to view mistakes and failures as learning experiences, and files them away for later. That’s not to say she doesn’t have her low points. A large enough failure, or a string of bad luck, can easily deflate her optimism for a bit. Her natural view is colored to expect good things to happen, and to think otherwise is silly.

”Ipso Facto..” Rational -- Mercy has a fairy sound head on her shoulders, and by the luck of growing up around a lawyer, has picked up a few handy debate and argument tricks. While not entirely driven by facts, Mercy is more than willing to hear out two sides of a situation before coming to any sort of real judgement on it, finding that, like in law, the truth tends to rest somewhere in the middle of the two sides of a story.

Cons:

”What’s mine is mine…” Spoiled -- Mercy rarely doesn’t get what she wants, especially from her father and mother. Not that she tends to go overboard with her requests, but a good portion of her more expensive unicorn pieces are the results of badgering daddy and mommy into buying them for her, since she’d never afford them on her allowance. She’s used to getting her way, and can throw a fit sometimes if she can’t.

”In pari materia…” Argumentative -- Perhaps due to her rational nature, Mercy has a bad habit of arguing a point to death. Moreover, if she’s in a situation where she’s trying to convince someone of her side of an argument, she’s not above using every rhetorical trick in the book that she’s picked up from daddy, and is really good at skirting the line when it comes to the omission of facts.

”I’m seiso because I say so!” Performative -- Likely a side-effect of her Vtuber alter ego, Mercy tends to throw up a performative barrier around herself depending on what group of people she’s around. Around her parents she’s innocent and polite, but that can quickly drop away when she’s online behind her Vtuber mask, or with people she trusts and is friendly with - then she can be a bit more colorful. But generally speaking, she’s going to act how society, and her parents, expect her to act - even if that means living a lie.





Standing at a flat 5’, Mercy has given up on her height catching up with the other proportions of her body. She has rust-red hair, normally kept up in a neat ponytail while at school or working, but she’ll often wear it down or in any manner of other ways when she’s about town or at home. She has a heart shaped face with no freckles, with round grey eyes. Her skin is tan, almost mocha brown, but with a hint of lighter tones. While not willing to give up her measurements, and while not quite an hourglass, she is cursed with a DD chest and hips to match - what she calls the Haynes family curse.
