⇨ Soul Resonance Skill Tree

The Soul Resonance skill tree is one that requires two or more people to achieve, but only one member of the team needs to possess these skills for them to work. The Soul Resonance skill tree is all about utilizing the innate power in the balance of mind, body, and soul to reach new heights. Soul Resonance can make two weak fighters into formidable opponents, and can make formidable opponents into Meisters or Weapons that could fight Death himself. These skills require internal balance and the ability to communicate and match with others. This difficult balancing act is one that rewards dedicated disciples with power unlike anything else in the world. Because of the nature of these skills, they are only usable in Soul Resonance and, in reward for this limitation, the perks are powerful and can change the tide of battle. This is a Guts skill. Must be Meister class or Weapon class on the Dual Alterer and Team Player paths.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ Soul Reaper ↯
The user is able to sustain one technique for an additional post without paying an additional resource cost once every three posts.

↯ Determined ↯
The user is able to split a single attack against two targets without reducing the strength of the technique once every four posts.

↯ We're not Lovers, We're Soulmates ↯
Members of a Soul Resonance team with this perk are able to lend resource to another member of the Soul Resonance team. The limit is 50 resource per post. This does not cost an action.

↯ Polyamory ↯
The user is able to borrow a technique from a member of the Soul Resonance technique and use it themselves if it's something they could theoretically learn themselves. This technique is borrowed for three posts and usable only within that window. Another technique may not be borrowed in the same battle.

↯ Overreaction ↯
The user is able to use one technique twice in a post for the same action. Both costs are paid. This perk is usable once per Soul Resonance partner in the Soul Resonance team.

↯ Ghostbusters ↯
The user is able to pay an additional level in resource during any kind of attack to stun the opposing Meister from using any soul abilities; the opponent is unable to use any soul abilities for two posts. This is usable once per opponent with an overall four post cooldown.

↯ Passive Aggression ↯
By focusing the mind on the body's physical tension, the Soul Resonance team's soul wavelength attacks and general attacks are treated as one level higher to dodge or block. Has a three post cooldown.

↯ Relax, Dude ↯
Range of Soul Resonance techniques is doubled.

↯ I'm Not Religious, I'm Spiritual ↯
By focusing on the body's breathing to protect the mind, the Soul Resonance team's able to recover from madness by two tiers to a minimum of tier one. Has three post cooldown

↯ Elementalist ↯
By focusing the body's physical shielding of the soul, the Soul Resonance team's is able to generate an elemental augment for their soul wavelength or basic attack from sheer focus and force of will. Elemental augment is the user's choice. Has a two post cooldown.

⇨ Tier Three Perks

↯ The Spirit Within ↯
The user's ability to Soul Resonate is turned inwards, allowing them to charge themselves up. This charge enables the body, mind, and soul to reject stuns, status effects, and madness for three posts for all Soul Resonance team members. These effects are not applied after this period ends. Afterwards, all members are burned out from Soul Resonance for the rest of combat and experience Madness at tier one. If this is the only madness the user is afflicted by, it will dissipate naturally in four posts when balance adjusts from the high stress of going berserk. Alternatively, the members can be afflicted with new Madness which will stack with this first tier and none of it will dissipate.

↯ Bankai ↯
The user's ability to Soul Resonate is turned outward, allowing them to buff their Soul Resonance partners in an act of selflessness. This charge makes it so all teammates' techniques (not their own) are treated one level higher for two posts; this stacks with their own individual perks. Afterwards, all members are burned out from Soul Resonance for the rest of combat and experience Madness at tier one. If this is the only madness the user is afflicted by, it will dissipate naturally in four posts when balance adjusts from the high stress of going berserk. Alternatively, the members can be afflicted with new Madness which will stack with this first tier and none of it will dissipate.

⇨ Resonance Barrier | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
The Meister channels the Soul Resonance energy outward, producing a visible barrier around their person and that of each other team member. The tier of this technique determines its strength, although the barrier will act one level higher in strength if the Soul Resonance includes three or more people.

⇨ Resonance Wavelength | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Spirit
Even if the Meister is uninitiated in the art of fighting with a wavelength directly, experienced Soul Resonance Meisters are capable of channeling their wavelength and their partners' wavelength easily, producing a radial blast from their person that is twenty feet wide.

⇨ Soul Piercer | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit
The Meister weaponizes their resonating soul wavelength in a spear-like shape ahead of them. The spear of wavelength shoots out from their person up to fifty feet ahead.

⇨ Witch Hunter | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit
Named after the famed scythe Meister technique, this skill uses the same concept of sharply channeling resonating soul wavelength energy through the weapon to grow it in size and strength. The Meister is able to produce a basic attack or swing with this technique active, which will treat magic-based defenses and techniques one level lower in strength. Lasts for two posts.

⇨ Soul Warden | Level 4 | Tier 2 | Spirit
The Meister channels their resonating soul wavelength outward radially, but this time the wavelength is moving low, just above the ground. This wavelength goes out fifty feet. All persons within this field that are not a part of the Soul Resonance team are unable to use any non-stamina technique for two posts.

⇨ Genie Hunter | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit
Named after the famed scythe Meister technique, this skill uses the same concept of sharply channeling resonating soul wavelength energy through the weapon to grow it in size and strength. The Meister is able to produce a basic attack or swing with this technique active. Magic techniques are treated two levels lower for the one post this technique lasts. This technique is usable only once per battle.

⇨ Kishin Hunter | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit
Named after the famed scythe Meister technique, this skill uses the same concept of sharply channeling resonating soul wavelength energy through the weapon to grow it in size and strength. The Meister is able to produce a basic attack or swing with this technique active; all attacks produced by a weapon enhanced by this technique are treated one level higher in strength. While active, the Meister and their partner(s) are unable to descend into Madness and passively heal from a single tier of Madness each post. Lasts for two posts. This is usable once per battle.

⇨ Soul Perception Skill Tree

Meisters are more than hunters for their Weapon partners. Some are so attuned to their own balance of Mind, Body, and Soul that they can expend their own energy for information fed through the mind's eye. This skill is called Soul Perception, and while other types may attempt to get close to this ability, it truly belongs to the Meisters who are intellectual and determined enough to master this ability. These Meisters are difficult to fool and tend to feel a slight (or more than slight) obsession with the truth or knowing everything in all scenarios. Despite this, the studious nature of most of these perceptive Meisters makes this a Wisdom skill. Must be Meister class.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ Passivity ↯
The Meister's perception detects souls passively around them. At this point in their development, the Meister can determine what type of soul is around them (human (M/W), witch, demon, reaper) within ten feet.

↯ Blood Hound ↯
Vague blood-related information is granted. This allows the Meister to determine who is biologically related, but also reveals if someone is under the effects of something unusual (no specifics). Blood type and if someone is losing a lot of blood is also gained from the Meister's perception.

↯ Two of a Kind ↯
Perception used on a Meister or Weapon will reveal the soul they're closest to. This is decided by who they Soul Resonance with the most, but M/W pairs who haven't achieved Resonance but still have worked together will be revealed. The partner's location isn't revealed, but the user becomes familiar with their soul imprint, allowing them to identify the target's partner by the sense of the partner's soul in the future.

↯ Relatability ↯
This perk reveals information about soul archetypes without needing to attempt Soul Resonance with the soul in question. This information is so easily detected by those with this ability that the soul archetype of a soul under Soul Guard is still revealed. In addition, this perk enables the Meister to determine what weapon(s) the Weapon turns into or, if perceiving a Meister, this perk determines if they have learned any skills in Soul Perception as well. It can reveal what branch the Witch belongs to, but not if Soul Guard is in place.

↯ Are We All Mad Here? ↯
This perk enables the Meister to detect Madness while using all of their perception techniques. This does not affect Madness-ridden souls that are masked or otherwise guarded. This perk allows the Meister to passively ignore a single tier of Madness coming their way once every three posts.

↯ Echolocation I ↯
This enables the Meister to receive environmental information. At this level, it does not reveal things like trap doors, false walls, or any other details like that. Yet, it can still reveal the twists and turns of a labyrinth or how large something is. This can determine environmental information within a topic.

⇨ Tier Two Perks

↯ Passivity II ↯
The Meister's perception detects souls passively around them. At this point in their development, the meister can determine what type of soul is around them (human (M/W), witch, demon, reaper) within fifty feet. Requires "Passivity"

↯ Blood Hound II ↯
Detailed blood-related information is granted. This allows the Meister to determine who is biologically related, but also reveals if someone is under the effects of Black Blood. If someone is losing a lot of blood, this information is also granted by the Meister's perception. The Meister can also determine if someone is affected by magic or other influences if this was achieved via their blood stream. Requires "Blood Hound"

↯ Deep Perception ↯
The first skill tree learned by the target(s) is revealed to the Meister. If perception is used on the same target again, the next learned skill tree is revealed. This applies to new applications of the Clairvoyance skill, not sustained usage; Passivity will only ever grant the first skill tree, but using Clairvoyance or another perception technique will grant the Meister information about their next skill tree. This only informs the Meister of the skill tree, and not what perks, techniques, or progression has been achieved by the target(s).

This enables the Meister to receive environmental information. It reveals things like trap doors, false walls, and any other details like that. No environmental details evade the Meister unless specifically stated. This can determine environmental information within a topic. Requires "Echolocation I"]

The Meister's perception detects souls passively around them. At this point in their development, the meister can determine what type of soul is around them (human (M/W), witch, demon, reaper) within the topic. Requires "Passivity II"

↯ Deepest Perception ↯
Two skill trees are revealed to the Meister. The perks, abilities, and overall progression is revealed to the Meister. The only tree never revealed is that of the Madness skill tree. The Meister reveals an unstackable resource reduction to their dodge or defense against the next attack from each target sensed by this perk. This reduction is only granted once per battle. Requires the "Deep Perception" perk.

⇨ Clairvoyance I | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Spirit
The Meister expends their energy outward, using their mind's eye to detect souls within twenty feet. This technique can be augmented with perks that specify different types of information. There is no cooldown for this technique, but it only lasts for two posts.

⇨ Body Check | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit
The Meister expends their energy outward, augmented their physical vision with the power of their mind's eye. This permits them to analyze someone's body language and determine what kind of attack is about to come their way. This grants an unstackable resource reduction of one level to dodge or defend against. If in Soul Resonance or otherwise in telepathic communication with a teammate, the teammate receives a singular resource reduction to a dodge or defense if the Meister senses it. There is a three post cooldown for this technique and it only lasts for one post.

⇨ Soul Reveal | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Spirit
The Meister expends their energy outward, using their mind's eye to specifically target one entity. This ability allows them to see through a Soul Guard. This technique is only usable on one target at a time, and can be augmented with perks that specify different types of information. There is a three post cooldown for this technique. The Soul Guard is seen through, not outright broken, so anyone not using this technique to perceive through the Soul Guard is unable to see it. The cost paid is equal to the rank of the Soul Guard used.

The Meister expends their energy outward, using their mind's eye to detect souls within the entire topic. This technique can be augmented with perks that specify different types of information. There is no cooldown for this technique, but it only lasts for two posts.

⇨ Madness Meter | Level 4 | Tier 3 | Spirit
The Meister expends their energy outward, using their mind's eye to detect Madness within the entire topic. This technique can be augmented with perks that specify different types of information. Souls under the influence of Madness cannot be guarded nor masked from this technique. The location of any Madness-ridden souls is revealed to the Meister immediately. This information prevents the Meister's Madness level from changing during the post this technique is used and the following post. There is a five post cooldown for this technique and its detection ability only lasts for one post.

⇨ Clairvoyance III | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit
The Meister expends their energy outward, using their mind's eye to detect souls within the entire subforum. This technique can be augmented with perks that specify different types of information. There is no cooldown for this technique, but it only lasts for one post.

⇨ Soul Pierce | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit
The Meister expends their energy outward, using their mind's eye to specifically target one entity. This ability allows them to pierce a Soul Guard. This technique is only usable on one target at a time, and can be augmented with perks that specify different types of information. There is a three post cooldown for this technique. Soul Guard cannot be used by someone who is pierced for three posts. Their Soul Guard is outright broken, not just seen through.

⇨ Soul Wavelength Skill Tree

Weapons aren't the only ones who can defend themselves. Meisters who emphasize the connection between soul and body instead of soul and mind can utilize their wavelength offensively. These Meisters tend to have a lot of physical discipline and resilience. Innately, these attacks are only castable through direct contact. The willingness to sharpen the wavelength and extend it outward requires a lot of trial and error, and more than a little masochism to learn. Thus, this is a Guts skill. Must be Meister class.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ Of the Tide ↯
A repeated cast of a wavelength technique shoots out for no cost or action once every four posts, at one level lower than the base technique.

↯ Wavelength Waves ↯
The Meister is able to inflict their wavelength ten feet outward from their palms in a half-circle shape five feet wide.

↯ Riptide ↯
The Meister can inflict their wavelength attack through contact with a weapon - their own or an opponent's. If used on an opponent's weapon, it shocks the weapon and anyone else in contact with the weapon (i.e., its wielder) without dividing the strength of the attack between the opponents.

↯ Shock Value ↯
For Meisters who lack a healing wavelength, this is a rough, urgent solution. While this can augment any technique, this frequently shows up in the form of the Meister charging wavelength to their palms and hold them on either side of their head or the head of their target. The shock launches straight into the head and removes two tiers of Madness. Regardless of how its delivered, this rough treatment removes an action from the target for one post in exchange for the anti-Madness boon.

↯ Soul Wavelength Savant ↯
The Meister receives an additional custom technique for this skill tree.

↯ Soul Wavelength Spear ↯
The Meister launches their soul wavelength outwards from a palm or foot. The wavelength is condensed and thin, about five inches wide, but shoots out ten feet long and doesn't dissipate for a hundred feet unless hitting an obstacle.

⇨ Tier Two Perks

↯ High Tide ↯
The Meister is able to inflict their wavelength attacks at an increased ten feet per level of the technique being augmented.

↯ Shell Shocked ↯
The Meister expels their soul wavelength throughout their body evenly, creating a thin coating of wavelength that inflicts damage on contact with an opponent or their weapon. This can be used to defend against techniques.

↯ Pins and Needles ↯
The Meister can generate up to 100 needles within a twenty foot radius of their body. These needles attack at will, but all of them are launched - there is no piecemealing this ability. This form allows Meisters to pay for a technique but not launch it until later.

↯ Wavelength Construction ↯
The Meister is capable of carefully crafting their wavelength so specifically that they can shoot it outwards and generate a shape with it and then direct it to attack. Visually, the shape appears to be tied to the Meister's fingers like puppet strings. The shape can be anything between the size of a small dog to the size of a one-building. This construction requires the Meister to use both hands to direct it.

⇨ Tier Three Perks

↯ Tsunami ↯
The Meister is able to utilize a wavelength technique once every three posts with an increased range to the entire topic. Allies are not injured by these techniques.

↯ Wavelength Puppeteer ↯
The Meister is capable of carefully crafting their wavelength so specifically that they can shoot it outwards and generate a shape with it and then direct it to attack. Visually, the shape appears to be tied to the Meister's fingers like puppet strings. The shape can be anything between the size of a small mouse to the size of a three-story building. This construction requires the Meister to use one hand to direct it. The wavelength is sustained for two posts or until it strikes an opponent/opponents - whichever is sooner. Requires "Wavelength Construction"

⇨ Techniques


⇨ Aggressive Shock | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
This shock is designed to hurt. On top of doing damage appropriate to its level, this kind of shock tends to disorient the opponent and frequently leaves them seeing double. The opponent's next attack misses if they've gathered less souls than their opponent.

⇨ Disabling Shock | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Spirit
This shock is focused far less on damage and much more on inhibiting the opponent. This technique prevents the opponent from using the last attack they used for the rest of the battle. This is only usable on one opponent in a battle and the level paid is equivalent to the technique being locked.

⇨ Oppressive Shock | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Spirit
This shock is focused far less on damage and much more on inhibiting the opponent. This technique reduces the opponent's action by one in their next post, only affecting one opponent, regardless of how many are struck by this technique. Only usable twice a battle and not on the same opponent.

⇨ Disturbing Shock | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit
This technique disrupts the soul(s) of whoever is attacked. Soul Resonance and Soul Guard (unless the opponent is a user of the Transformation tree) are unusable for two posts. The soul archetype benefit(s) of the affected opponents are negated for these two posts.

⇨ Unattractive Shock | Level 4 | Tier 2 | Spirit
This wavelength attack charges the opponent(s) with the same charge as the user - positive or negative - which prohibits them from getting within twenty feet of the user for three posts. Not usable with Tsunami.

⇨ Attractive Shock | Level 4 | Tier 2 | Spirit
This wavelength attack charges the opponent(s) with the opposite charge as the user - positive or negative - which prohibits them from getting five feet away from the user for three posts. Not usable with Tsunami.

⇨ Undying Shock | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit
The Meister's wavelength assaults the opponents' senses. On top of feeling unbearable pain, the opponents are also rendered so off-rhythm that they cannot sustain techniques past the post they're used in for four posts. This is usable once a battle.

⇨ Soul Mirage Skill Tree

Meisters are renown for their control over the soul aspect of combat, but some are also well-versed in the complexities of the mind. This knowledge can extend beyond that of simply perceiving souls and also enable Meisters to project information that other minds will perceive. This skill is known as Soul Mirage, where the Meister can create illusory information. Many of these skills require the Meister to create skillful, exact hand gestures to weave the mirages, which is why this is a Dexterity skill. Must be Meister class.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ Echoed Illusions ↯
Mirages generated may optionally produce a secondary, less convincing copy within twenty feet of its creation. With False Soul, the secondary copy still trips up perception techniques if the perceiving Meister is a lower level than the Meister with this perk.

↯ Morphology ↯
If desired, single mirages can morph into a second mirage following a new technique instead of being generated separately at will. This can be important for chain illusions.

↯ Dunce ↯
The user can use the Dummy technique once every two posts for no cost or action.

↯ Trickster ↯
The user's clone technique can make noise and talk. This enhancement doesn't apply to any other mirage technique.

↯ Sustained ↯
The user's mirage techniques can last two posts longer than normal. This effect can apply to one technique every four posts.

↯ Indulging Madness ↯
The Meister, when stricken with tier three Madness, is still able to generate tier one mirages once every two posts. These mirages may be corrupted aesthetically with static or horrific motifs because of the Madness.

⇨ Tier Two Perks

↯ Soul Breaker ↯
This perk alters the technique "False Soul" exclusively. The technique can be instead be used to display information that the soul in question is damaged, consumed, or otherwise extinguished. Alternatively, the technique can be used to make it appear like someone is achieving or leaving Soul Resonance. It can also be used to make a soul appear like it's come under Madness to those that can sense it.

↯ Miraculous ↯
Mirages no longer have size limitations so long as they remain in the user's topic.

↯ Stacking ↯
The Meister is able to utilize Fabricated Prophecy for no action or cost in the same post they use another Meister Soul skill, once every three posts.

↯ Safe Haven ↯
This perk allows the Meister to imbue comforting energy and a near-healing wavelength into their mirages. This allows the mirage to lower all viewers' tier of Madness by one once every two posts, for no additional cost.

⇨ Tier Three Perks

↯ Madness Maestro ↯
The user is able to use the entirety of this skill tree that they've unlocked while under the effect of Madness by any tier. Requires "Indulging Madness"

↯ Believing is Being ↯
An illusion can be rendered real once per battle. This illusion cannot be interacting or appearing to interact with anyone at the moment it is rendered real. One could generate a giant bucket of water above someone's head and render it real, but they could not generate a knife piercing someone's body and then make it real. The real illusion will fade back to being a mirage after two posts. The Meister cannot sustain real people from making a clone technique real. Fake people rendered real temporarily by this technique can give fake soul information if the user takes "Soul Breaker".

⇨ Dummy | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Spirit
The user generates a copy of themselves. It doesn't move or react, but serves well as bait for different traps.

⇨ Clone | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit
The user generates a copy of themselves or another person (in demon weapon form, animal transformation, etc. if desired). This copied entity can move but cannot make any noise. It can act like it's going to interact with someone but obviously won't touch them because it's all an illusion.

⇨ False Soul | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit
The user can generate the information of a false soul of any type. The user can feed other fake news like archetype, blood type, and false skill tree information. Anything that can be detected, the user can provide this information upon generation of this false soul. The false soul lasts for two posts and is visibly just an unattended soul wherever its generated.

⇨ Fabricated Prophecy | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit
The user is able to generate multiple mirages, creating a scene in the topic that doesn't exceed fifty feet in width or fifty feet in height. The mirages can produce noise and one other sense other than the visuals they provide. This technique has a lot of versatility as it builds off of the previous techniques, enabling the Meister to make opponents believe their allies are fighting or in trouble or anything else the Meister can think of.

⇨ Fake Wound | Level 4 | Tier 2 | Spirit
The Meister is able to generate a fake wound on an opponent - this can be after an attack or just randomly, or as another part of playacting from the Meister. Whatever the set-up is, if any, a wound of the Meister's choosing will form on the opponent. At this level, the illusion is so persuasive that the opponent is debilitated. This takes an action from one opponent and doesn't stack with anything else that takes an action. If used more than twice in battle on the same opponent, it loses its efficacy.

⇨ Beautiful Lie | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit
The cornerstone of a mirage-wielding Meister's ability is to convince someone so deeply of something unreal. This technique allows the Meister to plant a lie or a vision of an event (which plays out like a memory in the opponent's mind) that the opponent believes for at least one full post. This technique is usable on each opponent only once per battle. It takes the opponent of an action and doesn't stack with anything else that takes an action.

⇨ Soul Constructs Skill Tree

Meisters who dedicate themselves to understanding the matters of the soul as they influence their environment can learn to expend their soul energy in a physical, lasting way. These Meisters tend to not differ too much from those that study Soul Wavelength, but they focus on lasting manifestations more so than temporary shocks. Constructions appear in the Meister's soul color. Like Soul Mirage, these Meisters generate their abilities with careful hand movements and coordination. This why this is a Strength skill. Must be Meister class.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ Repeating ↯
The Meister is able to generate a second identical construction for no action or cost in the same post as their first. This is usable once every four posts.

↯ Habitual Creator ↯
Once every three posts, one of the Meister's construct techniques costs half the resource.

↯ Invested Interest ↯
The Meister's constructs last for an additional post.

↯ Absorbent ↯
Constructs treat soul wavelength attacks one level lower. If the Meister knows a single technique or perk from Soul Perception, this perk also grants the Meister information about the soul archetype using the wavelength attack.

A construct's physical form can cure anyone in contact with it of one tier of Madness. Alternatively, it can inflict a tier of Madness.

↯ Sickening ↯
This perk can apply to one construct technique every three posts. The technique must be used within ten feet of the opponent; it induces a sense of nausea from the distorted soul energy within the construct and removes an action from the opponent. Can only ever effect one person and cannot stack with other action removals.

The Meister can generate all constructs within the entire topic instead of following limitations on techniques that require the construct to appear as an extension of the Meister's body.

Once every three posts, one of the Meister's construct techniques become one level harder to dodge up to level five.

↯ Sticky ↯
If the opponent comes into contact with one of the Meister's construct, they become unable to dodge for two posts and must use techniques to defend against attacks.

↯ Mind within Matter ↯
The Meister's constructs induce tier two Madness on contact. Alternatively, the Meister's constructs and heal up to two tiers of Madness on contact. Both of this perk's effects cannot be used at the same time. The Meister is able to pick and choose who is affected by the chosen effect if multiple people are in contact.

⇨ Soul Orbs | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Resource
The Meister creates 1 - 10 orbs the size of a baseball. This can be used to distract, harass, or block the enemy. Additionally, the Meister could hold onto them and use it for mobility. These constructs last three posts.

⇨ Soul Armor | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Resource
This technique is created only in contact with the Meister's body. Soul construct energy surrounds the Meister to protect the body. The armor can look, aesthetically, however is desired. This armor lasts two posts per level.

⇨ Soul Barrier | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Resource
This technique must be created in contact with the Meister's body, typically extending from the palm of their hand or the their foot for convenience. Soul construct energy surrounds the Meister in a typically spherical manner. It can extend up to twenty feet wide and twenty feet tall, protecting multiple people if desired. The barrier can look, aesthetically, however is desired and does not require contact with the Meister to maintain, only to create. This barrier lasts two posts per level.

⇨ Soul Arsenal | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Resource
The Meister can create any weapon at will. They can also create things like chairs or tables. The limitation is that no more than five separate components can be created with this technique per level. Each component cannot exceed ten foot by ten foot dimensions. More complex things like people can be created but they won't fool anyone or move on their own.

⇨ Soul Step | Level 4 | Tier 3 | Resource
By creating and destroying constructs rapidly, the Meister is able to create dozens of near micro-constructions underneath their feet to move. This may make them appear to be flying, but it can also be used to increase their movement speed to dodge. Using this technique in the same post as an attack makes the attack one level harder to dodge up to level five. Usable once every five posts.

⇨ Soul World | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Resource
The technique Soul Construct Meisters are renown for, this ability allows the Meister to create constructs at will within the topic as they see fit. Constructs can interact, replace, and destroy existing environmental factors. For example, the Meister could generate swords throughout the entire topic that pierce through buildings. This can shrink the battlefield, cage people off from certain areas of it, lift the battlefield to unsafe heights, create a labyrinth, create a thin covering over the entire battlefield, or anything else the user can imagine. The only limitation is that it cannot create constructs that form inside someone. This technique is usable once per battle and lasts until combat is over as it does not innately injure others, though it may be used to create material for other techniques.

⇨ Cleric Skill Tree

Madness is a corruption of the balance of mind, body, and soul; furthermore, it goes against the will of Lord Death. Clerics are Meisters who are the most dedicated to the crusade against Madness and its corruption of life. Clerics are some of the most disciplined Meisters who chase ideals and fight with their mind, body, and soul dedicated to a single goal. These Meisters and their dedication are influential and unwavering, making this a Wisdom skill. Must be Meister class.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ Holy Water ↯
A tier of Madness is cured in an ally when a Cleric technique is used on them. This can stack with a technique's innate Madness curing if applicable. This perk cannot apply to the user.

↯ Restore ↯
This perk restores an ally of 50 resource while receiving the effects of one Cleric technique. This is only ever applicable to one ally and only usable twice per battle.

↯ Oh Lawd ↯
The most common perk of Clerics is this one. Madness techniques influence Clerics at one level lower at a minimum of level one; however, this does not stack in any way with any other kind of passive resistance to Madness, even that given by soul archetype.

↯ Deathbound ↯
Clerics, even those at the unobserving end of the religious spectrum, have a connection with Lord Death because of his anti-Madness teachings. These Clerics passively know the location of Lord Death at any given moment. When defending Lord Death directly in the same topic, the Cleric's techniques are one level lower in cost.

↯ Love is Multiplied ↯
The Cleric's techniques are able to passively effect an additional target. The additional target cannot be the user.

↯ In Arms ↯
An ally targeted by a Cleric's technique gains a temporary invincibility to Madness. In the same post they're effected by one of the Cleric's techniques, their Madness can be raised by any technique in any circumstance. This only lasts until their next post. This perk cannot be altered by Kyrie Eleison and is only applicable once every three posts.

↯ Love Thy Neighbor ↯
The Cleric is able to share the benefits of one of their perks from any of their skill trees with one ally for the span of three posts. This cannot be a perk that stacks with one the ally already possesses, or one with a pre-requisite perk the ally is not in possession of.

↯ Passive Cure ↯
This perk passively heals an ally's wounds while being targeted by one of the Cleric's techniques.

↯ Precious Protector ↯
The Cleric gains access to a custom technique for the Cleric skill tree.

↯ Beloved Boon ↯
This perk gives the ally - only ever a single ally, regardless of Kyrie Eleison - the ability to use one technique in their next post for half cost. The technique used for half-cost cannot be a Cleric technique.

⇨ Tier Three Perks

↯ Kyrie Eleison ↯
One Cleric technique is usable across an entire topic, effecting every one the Cleric desires except the user themselves within the topic. This perk can only be applied once per battle.

↯ Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God ↯
This enables the Cleric to use one of their techniques on themselves without drawbacks or reduced efficacy. Cost reduction or resource grant perks or techniques are not usable on the self. This perk can only be applied twice per battle.

The Cleric enhances an ally's abilities. Using language or movement, the Cleric enables one target to use one technique in their next post at one level higher for no additional resource, up to five.

⇨ Prayer | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Resource
The Cleric speaks truth to power. General speech can be enhanced with this technique, but the Cleric can also recite mantras that reinforce their strength if they so choose. This ability cleanses one target of all Madness. If used on the self, it can only heal one tier of Madness per application.

⇨ Safe and Sound | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Resource
This prayer enables the Cleric to protect one ally. The ally can ignore one attack coming their way in their next post without having to pay for a defensive technique or a dodge. This technique has a three post cooldown.

⇨ Faith in Health | Level 4 | Tier 2 | Resource
The Cleric cures a chosen ally of any injuries. Additionally, the ally is relieved of one tier of Madness. Finally, any curses or remnant spell effects on the ally are removed, but the Cleric or the ally must pay the cost of the spell or spells being removed on top of this technique.

⇨ Exorcism | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Resource
This technique is usable once a battle. It removes all offensive activations from a Kishin or someone under the influence of Black Blood. To anyone who is neither a Kishin nor influenced by Black Blood, they instead lose one activation and cannot inflict any Madness through any means for one post.

⇨ Boundless Servitude | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Resource
This technique is usable on a separate Meister/Weapon pair or on the Cleric's Weapon partner. This ability enables the pair or the Cleric and their partner the ability to achieve Soul Resonance one more time in combat, exceeding typical Soul Resonance limitations. This technique can not be affected by any perk whatsoever.

⇨ Soul Elementalist Skill Tree

Some Meisters have found a way to emulate effects that many believe only witches could accomplish through the use of their elemental magics. The Soul Elementalists utilize their manipulation of the soul to alter the world around them and create a variety of elemental effects. While this skill tree encompasses all elements, they do not have the mass manipulation or raw power of elemental magics. Fire, Water, Ice, Lightning, Earth, Wind and Surprise are the elements that Soul Elementalist encompasses. In order to make a custom based on a certain element the meister must have access to the technique associated with that element from this tree first. (Ex. If you don't have the Ice Spear technique you can't make Ice Customs.) There is a semi-scientific aspect to this skill tree and as such this is a Wisdom skill. Must be Meister class.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ You Smell Like Burning ↯
Once every 2 posts, the Meister may make the fireball erupt into flames that spread up to 10 feet per level after it makes contact with anything. This includes on collision with another technique. This doesn't alter the collision of the fireball technique, however the flames spreading can cause damage to anyone including the meister who used the technique.

↯ I Decide What the Tide Will Bring ↯
Once every 4 posts, the Meister may make Water Gun unblockable, in which case the opponent must dodge the technique if they do not wish to get hit. This can not be applied if Water Gun has multiple targets.

↯ Upon the Wind ↯
The Meister may fly through the air up to 5 feet above the ground per level of the meister.

↯ Give Me, Give Me, MORE ↯
The projectile range of techniques from this tree is doubled. Sizes of Techniques and any AOE based effects are not affected.

↯ Convergence ↯
The Meister is capable of using two different element techniques at the same level for one action once every three posts. Cost must still be paid for both.

↯ Wannabe ↯
The Meister gains 1 additional custom for this skill tree.

↯ Fullbuster ↯
Once every 2 posts the user may control an already present Ice Spear for a second attack with no additional resource cost.

↯ Element of Surprise ↯
While underground the Meister is able to feel movement in and above the ground for up to 10 feet. If the meister has the Soul Perception tree it becomes 15 feet per level of the meister.

↯ Tri-Attack ↯
The Meister is capable of using three different element techniques at the same level for one action once every four posts. Cost must still be paid for all. Requires Convergence. Renders Convergence only usable once per battle, and never in the same post as Tri-Attack

↯ Chuunibyou ↯
The meister gains 2 additional customs for this skill tree. Requires Wannabe

↯ Witch Bolt ↯
Once every 4 posts, when the Meister uses Shock Bolt they create two bolts of lightning instead of one for no additional action or resource cost.

↯ Fake a** WITCH ↯
The meister gains 1 additional custom for each element associated with this skill tree. 1 for each Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Ice, and Lightning for a total of 6. Alternatively, the meister may choose to use these customs to combine elements and create a new element. Ex. Fire and Water making Steam. When this is done the two elements used no longer have slots associated with them from this perk. Ex. Making Steam from Fire and Water uses both the Fire and Water Slot, leaving only the Wind, Earth, Ice, and Lightning Slots. However after a first technique has been made for a combination element the user may create more techniques using that element. Requires Chuunibyou

⇨ Fireball | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
The meister channels their soul wavelength into the air around them, causing a chemical reaction in the air and creates a ball of fire that has a 5 foot radius per level the technique is used at. The ball of fire can be thrown up to 10 feet per level.

SPIRIT Water Gun | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
The meister forms a gun shape with their fingers, channeling soul wavelength through the air and pulling moister out of the air into a small pellet like shape. They then fire the water pellet in a jet stream like fashion. The pellet, if unimpeded by another technique, will travel 15 feet forwards per level used. This includes through flesh, bone, brick, steel, and just about anything that is not a defensive technique capable of impeding the technique.

⇨ Current Shift | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
The Meister will use their soul wavelength, sending it into the air and forcing the currents in the air to bend to their whim. They can use this to create a pushing upon a target to send them backwards 10 feet per level of the technique used.

⇨ Ice Spear | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Spirit
The meister will send their soul energy through the air pulling the moisture into a concentrated point and then freezing it by dropping the temperature using their soul energy of the moisture quickly. This creates a 2 Foot per level spear made of ice in the air which can be launched at an opponent up to 10 feet per level. Due to the physical nature of this technique it is not considered a soul technique, and the ice spear will remain often times until the battle is over or it has been melted or broken. After the initial attack the ice spear is no longer under control of the meister.

⇨ Ground Swimming | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Spirit
The Meister will send their soul energy through the ground in order to be able to move it around to an extent at their leisure. They utilize this bit of movement to allow themselves to swim through the earth. This technique can be maintained for 2 posts per level used, allowing Meisters to return to the earth so long as their duration is not up. However in most cases a Meister must exit the earth in order to attack an enemy.

⇨ Shock Bolt | Scaled Level | Tier 3 | Spirit
The Meister will use their soul energy to create a chemical create in the air and create electrical energy. They fire this electrical energy towards their opponent for up to 10 feet per rank 2 feet wide. This energy is unlike the electric-like energy represented within Soul Wavelength's Tree, it is literal electricity being fired at someone. This technique will hit everyone within it's range.

⇨ Soul Leech Skill Tree

The power of the soul is strong indeed, and the ability to manipulate the soul directly belongs to that of the Meister. At least that is what many Meisters, especially those who learn of the secret techniques of the Soul Leech Skill Tree. These Meisters take manipulation of the soul in a different way than many others. As opposed to projecting their soul, outwards they use their own soul to draw on the soul of others through physical contact typically utilizing the hands and thus mess with it in many different ways. This is a Dexterity skill. Must be Meister class.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ Succubus ↯
The user may activate techniques of this skill tree via any form of physical contact.

↯ Swallow ↯
When using the Soul Drain technique the user may choose to instead of absorb resource heal their injuries. If absorbing 20 or less heal minor cuts and bruises. If absorbing 30 or 40 heal major cuts and bruises. If absorbing 50 heal large flesh wounds and fractures. (not broken bones, only fractured bones.)

Once every 4 posts, if the user would be affected by a technique which applies a resource draining effect they may ignore the draining effect.

↯ Sucker ↯
The user may choose to delay the effects of one of their successfully executed technique. Techniques effects may be activated up to 2 posts after it was successfully executed already. Only usable twice a battle.

↯ Threesome ↯
The user may have 2 people tethered to them via the Soul Tether technique.

↯ Absorb ↯
Soul Drain drains an additional 5 resource when successfully used once per 2 posts.

The user may create extension from themself out of soul wavelength effectively extending the reach of physical contact by 5 feet.

↯ You're Tearing Me Apart, Lisa! ↯
When using the Soul Rip technique, the user may choose to actually cause physical cuts and scratches to appear on the affected person. Choice must be made prior to successful strike.

The user may have 3 people tethered to them via the Soul Tether technique.

Soul Drain drains an additional 10 resource when successfully used once per 2 posts.

When successfully using the Soul Separation technique, the user may, before pulling the opponent's soul from their body, squeeze their soul and apply the pain effects of Soul Strike or Soul Rip. This can only be used once per 2 posts.

↯ Giga Drain ↯
Soul Drain drains an additional 15 resource when successfully used once per 3 posts. Requires Mega Drain

The user of this technique aims to make physical contact with an opponent. When successful, unimpeded, contact has been made the user's wavelength pulls on the soul of target and drains them of resource equal to the level of this technique.

⇨ Soul Strike | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit
The user will aim to make physical contact with an opponent. When successful, unimpeded, contact has been made the user's wavelength seems to strike directly at the soul of the target causing a sharp stabbing pain within the body of the affected person.

⇨ Soul Rip | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit
The user of this technique aims to make physical contact with an opponent with both of their hands. When successful, unimpeded, contact has been made the user's wavelength pulls at the soul of the target. The pulling of the soul from two points causes a painful ripping sensation to course through the body of affected person.

⇨ Soul Tether | Level 4 | Tier 2 | Spirit
The user of this technique aims to make physical contact with an opponent. When successful, unimpeded, contact has been made the user attaches what is essentially a tether of soul energy from their own soul to the target's soul. The tether lasts 3 post, during which time any effects that either side of the tether come under the effects of are applied to both. This includes, healing, buffs, de-buffs, and even damage inflicted. Example of damage being applied to both being if one side receives a cut a cut will appear in the exact same spot but on the other side of the tether and they would feel the pain of the cut as well. Unless otherwise specified the user may only be tethered to a single target at a time.

⇨ Soul Separation | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit
The user of this technique will aim to make physical contact with a target which may be an opponent, ally, or even oneself. This technique can not be blocked and as such it must be dodged. The user's hand will seem to phase into their target as physical contact has been made and they will pull from the target's body their own soul, which then begins to float around the affect person's body for three posts or until the technique is used on another target. This doesn't hinder the affected person. However the person must now defend themselves and their exposed soul floating around them in close proximity as it can be the target of an opponent's techniques or spells. When the soul itself is targeted and hit successfully, affects such as buffs and debuffs last an additional 2 posts and when damage is dealt to the soul directly it is considered 1 level higher than normal up to a maximum of 5. Resource based effects drain or give an additional 20 resource than normal. This technique can only affect one target at a time, if used on another target the previous target's soul returns to normal.
