Reading --Losing track of time should be a hobby with how much reading Christa likes to do. There are few genres she won't look into - world history, psychology, self-help, fiction, non-fiction, biographical... she has a little bit of everything in her modest collection. She's not above having multiple copies of the same book because science (and they may or may not be variant covers and/or signed. Shh.)
Collecting Stationary -- Despite it being 2021 and computers being in our pockets, Christa still likes the old fashioned pen and paper. In fact, she collects them. Special envelope sets, writing pads, various pens and even wax sticks and letter seals are all lovingly tucked away in her desk at home. She uses them to write herself, and her friends, notes and letters.
Research & Learning -- When she gets bitten by the curiosity bug, time goes down the drain as she starts falling down the rabbit hole of where does this type of yarn come from and what's the history of the Faberge Eggs? Given a research assignment at school is a gift because it gives her an excuse to troll through the library and/or the internet to find every last little interesting tidbit about the subject at hand.
Pros:
Analytical -- Solving problems is something Christa's mind lends itself well to. She enjoys standing back and picking apart the problem bit by bit (as long as time isn't of the essence). She prefers to weigh all options carefully before making a decision, and the more important the decision, the more time must be taken on the options. Logic and forethought are her weapons of choice.
Calm Under Pressure -- Her personality lends itself towards logic, which helps tremendously when in stressful situations. This includes things like deadlines, important appointments and make-or-break school exams. Christa prefers to list everything out and keep two calendars (one being a copy of the other) to make sure every little tidbit is cataloged, defined and tracked.
Dedicated -- Whether it's to a task or a cause, Christa doesn't like to abandon things easily or when things get difficult. She would rather see it through to the conclusion. This can include simple things like school projects or essays, to community service, her duty as a senshi. It's a sense of accomplishment, moral obligation and duty that keeps her invested. The stronger those senses, the stronger her dedication. It's better to see things to their end rather than be left wondering what if?
Cons:
Socially Awkward -- Being more at home with books than with people, oftentimes Christa doesn't know what to say or how to behave in social situations, especially spontaneous ones. It wouldn't be unheard of for her to stare, unblinking, while trying to figure out how not to blurt out the most random fact that comes to mind, regardless of appropriateness. She hasn't dated (no interest) and is very introverted by nature. She can't dance, sing or entertain, either. She might have the social skills of the stereotypical basement-dweller, but at least she bathes.
Self-Critical -- Failure is a normal part of life but Christa tends to take failure a little harder than normal. Whether it's a low mark on a test, the off chance she forgot to return a book, a social interaction gone awry or something serious like a senshi mishap, she ruminates on what she could have done differently. How hadn't she seen this conclusion? She should have known better, done better. Christa can get trapped in her own head, trying to parse out the other avenues she could have taken.
Hyperfocused -- Analysis can be its own undoing, trapping the person in unimportant minutia. Curiosity can get the better of a person without restraint. Sometimes Christa gets so focused on a book, she loses valuable hours that could have been spent cleaning her dorm or doing the laundry. She might sit down to write her outline on an essay and look up to see she's accidentally created three different drafts regarding three separate, but related, subjects. She might become fixated on a detail that, in hindsight, was irrelevant, like what type of car parked three spaces from the left of the science building on Wednesday.
General Appearance
Christa stands 5'8" in height with long, wavy, charcoal gray hair and cool brown eyes. Sometimes she wears her hair in buns on either side of her head or she'll wear it down, where it ends at the small of her back. Her features lean towards sharp versus soft and she doesn't get much sun. She prefers the "mousy librarian chic" of neutral colors, sweaters, long cardigans, dresses and skirts. She doesn't like to stand out if it can be helped, so she avoids bright colors and patterns whenever possible. She prefers modest footwear (although she wears heels if the occasion calls for it).
Uniform Color: The bodice of order Senshi will always be white, but at the first stage Sailor Scouts are permitted to have two additional accent colors. Please let us know what yours are! Hex colors may be provided as well.
Collar -- Your standard senshi collar, but in this world, it isn't disheveled. Brooch -- Silver with the symbol seen here (without the teardrop-shaped gem) Chest Bow -- Cyan, attached to the brooch as per standard senshi setup! Bodice -- Standard white Bottoms -- Crimson, standard Tiara -- A standard senshi tiara but in silver, with a crimson gem. Butt Bow -- Standard cyan just like the front! Boots -- These can be CC, but I'd like them to be crimson and not too fancy or falling apart. A heel would be lovely! Accessories -- Crimson gloves and a plain choker without any decoration. Her gloves end at the wrists and are not disheveled.

For the duration of the attack, Kallichore's opponent may hear faint whispering as the presence passes by, the sound unintelligible.
This effect lasts for 15 seconds, or one post.

While surrounded by this effect, opponents are bombarded with sensations that they would deem maddening.
This darkness lasts for 20 seconds, or a single post with the effects lingering into the start of a second post, the attack unsettling enough that it's even harder to shake off.

How long have you been awakened? Roughly two years!
Where were you awakened? Kallichore was awakened in her hometown of Mayet one night, shortly after her graduation from Our Lady of Destiny.
What have you been doing for the past X years? While her family may have taken a once or twice-a-year vacation, since awakening, Christa has made excuses to stay put and train at night. She just has a bad feeling about all of this. She's read enough books to know the story doesn't stay easy and chill for very long, and if there was no real danger, there would be no need for magic...
What stage would you like to start at? 1st! I'd like to start her over from scratch.

Hello Lu! Thanks for your interest in bringing Christa/Kallichore into By Moonlight! Before we can approve her there are a few things we'd like to go over!
Civ side -- everything looks great, so we're good to go here!
Powered side -- Name and sphere are good to go!
We think you've got a good start on the attacks, but we would recommend making a few adjustments to keep from limiting yourself and the characters interacting with you to specific things as madness itself can be very broad and the types of things that can indue it might be different from character to character.
Basic Attack - Taking directly from what you have written, we would like to suggest the following:
The target feels the unearthly presence of something that lurks in their peripherals, but they can never quite catch a good glimpse of it to see what it really is, the presence amorphous and nondescript. For the duration of the attack, Kallichore's opponent may hear faint whispering as the presence passes by, the sound unintelligible.
We would recommend this attack be able to hit a single target within 10ft of Kallichore and last for a duration of 15 seconds or a single post while leaving off the visuals at it may be more impactful if the enemy can't see anything coming towards them before the presence is felt.
Super Attack - Building off of the above, we would suggest the following based off of what you currently have:

You're welcome! And thank you for being so receptive to feedback! There's a lot of wiggle room with things for people to take the effect of the attack even further based on their own characters' imaginations and I think that can be even more impactful in an open RP setting.
One more quick question! With the 'heatwave-like projectile' descriptor, is this a specific type of visual that you're looking for? When we read 'heatwave' our thoughts are instantly drawn to thoughts of 'oh-em-gee, why is it so warm' or the kind of blurred lines you can see raising off of a car or blacktop when the sun is high.
If you're looking for a visual representation of the attack being fired off, we would suggest sound waves similar to this!

A ripple in the air would also work! Just the descriptor of heat wave carried the connotation of warmth, etc! Which was why we wanted to double check! Although I will 100% admit that I am totally biased towards the Sound of Madness [url contains youtube/music]!

The Watchful Guardian provided Kallichore with her henshin pen and communication device. He communicates with her to check in and provide updates periodically, typically via text (somehow, despite not having thumbs...) and at least once every few months in person to follow up on her progress (and maybe to restock on catnip), letting her know that as soon as other Mau become available they can discuss assigning her to someone who has the freedom to check in more frequently AND helping her make connections with other Sailor Soldiers.
