Thorite strolled through the city streets—no, no, this wasn't a stroll, this was a stalk. Yes. He was stalking the city streets. For people to become his victims. He ignored anyone who was homeless—sure, they would've been easier to target and make disappear, but... He just couldn't. Not after having been one of them. Living life like that sucked enough without some weirdo in a strange suit literally stealing your life energy. He shuddered at the thought. Now that he thought on that, he was flabbergasted that Sylvite hadn't just tried to steal his energy or something when they'd first met. Well, he wouldn't dwell on it. He needed to keep his focus. Someone to target... He grinned sharply as he finally caught someone, and prepared to take their energy. Hah! So much for not dwelling on the past, it was that shady dentist where Sylvite had first found him. Good. Getting someone who took advantage of other people was delightful.

At this point, Charybdis just needed to admit it: She did NOT listen to the rules. At ALL. She wanted to become a better senshi, and that meant that she needed to go 'old school' as some people called it, and do what she had done before Scylla got all involved and over-protective: she needed to sneak out. She needed to learn to fight. She needed to be able to smash a youma, and win a fight, and stuff. She couldn't do that with her sister. Scylla was too over-protective. Charybdis could do this. She was almost 11, after all. That wasn't far from being the grown-up sort of senshi. When she sensed a Chaos aura, she couldn't help the way her body quivered in a small wave of nerves. She was learning, after all. Being a Chibi wasn't the game it had been when Itsuki first awakened her. She knew it wasn't all fun, and people could get hurt, but... she still wanted to believe that even Chaos could be, like... Chaotic Good. Moving quickly (thanks to being a chibi!) Charybdis soon found herself facing down a guy, and... another guy. "Hey!" she said, and her high-pitched, child-voice trembled. "Unhand that man, villain!" That was what heroes said in the books. And tonight, she was going to be a hero!

Thorite glanced over and blinked at the sight of the child-sized senshi. Oh my G-d, they let literal children fight? No, that sounded stupid, it was far more likely she'd snuck out, judging by how shaky she was. He finished getting his energy orb and shoved the guy aside for him to pass out or whatever, it wasn't his problem anymore. What was his problem was the little kid looking ready to try and kick his butt. "Hey, kiddo," he said softly, squatting down. "Listen, that guy wasn't a very good guy. But the more important thing is?" His face was soft, yet creased with worry. "What's someone as young as yourself doing out here? There's guys like me that'd kill you as soon as they could. Don't you have someone—an adult—who's taking care of you?"

Her attempt at intimidation had clearly failed, and the tall-for-her-age and very-skinny-for-her-height Chibi senshi stared as the Agent just... ignored her, and kept stealing energy from the person. How rude! Charybdis, however, waited impatiently until he was done with what he was doing, shuffling nervously from foot to foot; after all, what if the Chaos guy decided to like... kill him or something if she attacked? Dumping the body of the man to his side- Oh sweet Charybdis, was he breathing still?- the Agent made his way towards her, and Charybdis puffed herself up. "You don't get to call me kiddo, you- you vampire!" Holding out her hands in front of her, Charybdis yelled- "Shiny Pup!" She thought she could feel the magic grow inside her, and then- Nothing. "Of course I have an adult!" she stammered into the embarrassing backfire of her own magic. "They're right around here. They'll be here any minute to beat you up."

Thorite really had to struggle to hold back his laughter at one, her bad lying, and two, her magic backfiring. But somehow he managed, and he cleared his throat, looking around. "Yeah... I don't feel any auras," he said, shifting to sit completely down, cross-legged. "Wait a sec, did you call me a vampire?" He giggled at the thought, then caught himself and exhaled sharply. "Look. Do you have someone you can call? Like, a special moon-person phone or something? There's people out here willing to—to kill." If she wouldn't cooperate, Thorite hated the idea, but he figured he'd have to grab her up and try to take her somewhere where she could go home. He might've been told to hate these people, but it wasn't the child's fault she was what she was, and he would much rather help her home than try to corrupt her or whatever.

She was being mocked, and Charybdis did NOT appreciate it. This was her first time trying to be a proper senshi, and she was-- "Yes!" she informed the Agent loudly. "I called you a vampire! Give him back his energy, that's theft!" His giggle made nothing better, and as he asked about her 'moon-person' phone, a devious plan came to mind. There didn't seem to be any nice, heavy pieces of trash laying around, so Chary would just have to... improvise. "Yeah, people like you. What if you ate too much? What if a robber comes and stabs him? What if he gets eaten by a dog or something cause he doesn't wake up?" The sealskin-caped ballerina lifted herself up to her tiptoes, and called out to her power again. "Shiny Pup!" she yelled again, and this time- this time it worked. A baby seal appeared. Clearly magical. It is very cute, and the soft little chuffy-whuffy noises it made encouraged that guy to look at it. And not at Charybdis herself. Pay attention to the baby seal, its big, magical eyes seemed to say. It was precious and pure. With very big, wet, cute eyes. And soft, soft fur. Look at me. Love me. I'm cute. And yet, as it approached the cross-legged Negaverse Agent, it seemed to change. The sweet little ork-borks grew frenzied, and the seal began to glow. And hidden by the glow, Charybdis pulled out her senshi phone, aimed it at the agent- and threw it with all of her chibi strength.

Thorite didn't want to. He really, [bi] really didn't want to. But the magic beckoned him, so he looked at the seal pup. And promptly went temporarily blind as it glowed. ********, that was right in his eyes. He shouted in pain and clamped his eyes shut, then slapped his hands over his ears as the damn thing began to scream. Sonuvabitch. He hoped this ended quickly— THONK."Son of a nutcracker," he shouted, somehow managing to keep himself PG even as his senses exploded with pain. Something had struck him right across the nose, and he was pretty sure he'd be bruised for days to come. The magic did end quickly enough and he opened his again, rubbing his nose with his now free hands. "I don't think he'll be eaten by any dogs, kid," he said irritably, "He'll wake up just fine and go on stealing people's teeth, and if he doesn't wake up, good, he'll stop taking advantage of poor people who just need some help." Perhaps "stealing teeth" was a bad summary of what the guy did by day, but it hopefully would make enough sense to the child—or distract-slash-confuse her enough for him to grab her and haul her bratty a** off.

Hahaaa! Charybdis could have *crowed* with victory as her play worked. Her magic went off without a hitch, the Bad Man was blinded and konked in the head with her phone- and Charybdis ran past to drop to her knees next to the tooth-fairy unconscious victim, shaking him vigorously. "You need to get up!" she cried to him. "Hey, Mister!" Behind her, the Agent was cursing a nutcracker, and her magic was dying down. It was meant to be an escape mechanism- enough time for her quick little legs to get her out of dodge, not an attack. "Even if he's bad and- steals... teeth?" her brow furrowed, and blue eyes blinked at the enemy, her hand still shaking the man's shoulder. "What?"

Finally. He lunged forward, ignoring the pain still radiating across his face and grabbed her, throwing her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Well, stealing teeth is a little simplified," he said with a grunt, setting off at a brisk walk down the street, "But he does purposefully make teeth worse, or seem worse, so he can do unnecessary work and get more money out of people who just need help. Maybe he doesn't deserve to die, but I think getting scared shitless by someone who claims to be a revenge demon sent by one of his clients might turn him around." And if it doesn't... He was pretty sure he could get Albite to help him go after the guy. Ah. good. He sensed an Order aura and shifted to walk down another street rather abruptly, apologizing over his shoulder for jostling Charybdis. "Hey!" he shouted at the silhouette, "Hey, look, I come in peace or whatever, but I got attacked by one of your little ankle-biters who needs a timeout from fighting bloodthirsty murderers."

She'd noticed the altercation some minutes prior, walking down the street and observed. She didn't power up much lately - too many old memories holding her down - and only really did so if the situation warranted it. The chibi senshi held her own very well against the agent and she almost simply continued walking.
Then the agent tossed the child over his shoulder.
Warm bright energy flooded her system, carving well worn paths through her skin and changing out one outfit for another. Bifrost started walking before the transformation was finished, and summoned her shield with a flare of light.
"Unhand the Chibi Senshi, agent of Chaos. Now." The Transcendent Knight of Chronos readied a battle stance, aura bleeding energy like a flame. Bifrost's mouth formed a thin line. "I am Bifrost Knight of Chronos, and I cannot promise you will leave this street unharmed if you do not put her down."
It felt rusty, and overly formal, and entirely too stiff, but Bifrost was out of practice in this sort of thing.

"Stealing teeth is a little stupid, and I don't believe you, you... you Chaotic liar." hauled over a shoulder like a sack of veggies, Charybdis abandoned all attempts at acting like an adult to flail and smack at whatever she could reach. Butt. Thighs. Back. Spleen. Whatever. "Why would anyone want to rob the poor? They don't have anything! You always rob the rich, like Robin Hood! You can't fool me." Charybdis was almost 11. She knew better. Poor people didn't have anything to take. No thief would try and scam them. Right? "I told you I had an adult!" the flare of an Order aura distracted Charybdis from her outrage. "And I don't bite ankles, they aren't a good weak spot. Like this!" she aimed two pointy, skinny fingers at the delicate meat right below his ribcage and poked. That was supposed to be kidneys, right? Maybe a liver? She should have paid more attention to Lucas when he rambled about anatomy and self-defense and places to poke someone if she got kidnapped. "GIVE BACK THE ENERGY YOU STOLE!"

Thorite grimaced as she whaled on him. Damn, she was strong for a little brat. "Not everyone is like Robin Hood," he said darkly, freezing as the Knight threatened him. And then yelping as Charybdis punched him right in the kidney. "Ow, ********!" he hissed, looking up to Bifrost. "I just wanted to get her home," he said pleadingly as he carefully—well. s**t, how was he supposed to get her off him safely? He gently grabbed her by the ankles and swung her around, then paused. Now he was...holding her upside down. This wasn't going very well. "Uh, could you? Put your hands on the ground or something? I don't want to drop you," he said, looking frantically between her and Bifrost. He really, really didn't want to get hurt by trying to do something good, damnit. He didn't realize he was supposed to be some kind of expert on handling wild children who thought they were superheroes when he got corrupted.

"... That's not really how that works, little one. Whoever he stole the energy from will recover in time, unless he took their starseed. Then they're very, very dead," she said, sighing softly and flicking her eyes between the chibi and the agent. The child was incredibly rowdy - but clearly had a good head on her shoulders. The woman sighed as the agent held the kid up by her ankles.
"By Chronos..." she sighed again, walking over and grabbing Charybdis around the middle. "You can let go, agent. I'll set her right."
By right, she meant right side up. She would fully condone the kid continuing to fight.

Insult to injury was added as Charybdis was hauled back over a shoulder, and hung by her ankles by some... RUDE... Affronted, the almost-eleven-year-old could do little more than gasp in shock and flail to try and keep her skirt out of her face as her light body was yanked up and just- dangled. Thank whoever was in charge of senshi uniforms that she had little short leggings under her skirt! "I will not put my hands down!" she protested, but was saved by the knight sighing heavily and coming to grab her around the middle. "He just left them in an alley," Charybdis tattled to Bifrost, "But they were breathing, so I guess he didn't take their starseed?" It was only once she was secured in the knight's grip that Charybdis dropped her legs, bending with all the flexibility of a child to set her feet on the ground and straighten back up. And squint judgmentally at the Chaos Agent.

Thorite let go the second Bifrost had her and took several large steps backwards, hands up and spread in a gesture of peace. "I didn't take his starseed," he said, sighing heavily, "I—well, it's kinda embarrassing to say aloud to an adult, but..." He coughed awkwardly. "Kinda pretended to be a summoned demon to scare the guy into not scamming his patients. He's that dentist over on 21st and Main. All I wanted to do was make sure she—" He pointed without moving his hand forward "—Didn't get hurt by someone else. Now that that's all settled... I'm just gonna go." And then his impulsive mouth ran before his brain could tell it to stop. "Unless of course, Madame Bifrost, you'd rather I stick around—I am Thorite, after all." Ahh.... crap. He was pretty sure he was about to get captured and tortured now or something.
