Wanted Wisps (11) : Small, wispy orbs are floating through the city. They can be found during the day but are far more visible at night. They seem to bob along a few feet off the ground and sometimes flicker in and out of sight. They are warm to the touch and seem to be somewhat magical in nature. Anyone can gather them in their hands; they do not quite feel solid but cannot slip through fingers or escape any container. If you find one of these, you must return it to the merchant. If you do not roleplay with him, it will be assumed that you returned the piece to him anyway; there is no way to keep these. Please see this post for information on turning in the Wisp and claiming your prize.

Lapis Lazuli was on the hunt for the strange white energy like creatures on behalf of a note from what appeared to be some alien vessel. Lapis found the creatures easily enough, they reminded him of the will-of-the-wisp of European mythology. He wondered what exactly the strange creatures were? Were they some sort of entity like a youma, so sort of degraded star seed. No he was pretty sure whatever the creatures were they weren't like youma. Youma were disgusting and pitiable creatures, most of they existed only on instinct, a need a feed on energy. Even the more intelligent youma were mere servants existing only to serve the officers. Lapis hated the whole concept, it was wrong the negaverse was destroying people's souls and turning them into such base creatures. It inhumane and unnecessary, an officer could achieve everything a youma could, it was just laziness and cruelty. Just another in the long list of crimes committed by the Negaverse in their quest for power and another sin on Lapis Lazuli for being complicate in it for so long. But no more he was done being complicate in atrocities. He would put his foot down and take a stand for whatever that was worth.

Coming out of his thoughts Lapis Lazuli shook his head he needed to focus on the task at hand. These things were not youma, no they were much more benign than that. They didn't feel like corrupted entities and nor they feel threatening. No the little wisps just seemed to be there. He wondered where exactly they had come from. Clearly they were connected to the strange alien bubble that had crash landed after all whoever owned the bubble had put up a sign asking for them. He hoped that if he found some of the strange creatures he could get to the bottom of the mysterious bubble.

Lapis Lazuli stalked up behind one of the creatures he slowly removed the jar he had brought with him to contain the creature, he hoped the thing couldn't move through matter since he didn't really know what its body was composed of. The young lieutenant lept at the creature trying to wrangle it into the jar however he only received a face full of grass. He spat a bit of grass from his mouth as he sat up. The little wisps had sped off. Muttering curses under his breath Lapis Lazuli got to his feet and gave chase.

He hunted the little wisp through the woods. He had to dodge branches and roots as he chased after the little ball of some white substance. The young man was breathing heavily as he finally managed to catch up with the mischievous wisp in a clearing, in a smooth motion he managed to scope the wisp out of the air and into his jar. He quickly put the lid on the creature. He hoped that the thing didn't need to air holes to breath. It seemed magical in nature so he was pretty sure it was fine. With that Lapis Lazuli took his hard won prize off to the mysterious bubble where he hoped he'd get some answers.
