They seem to bob along a few feet off the ground and sometimes flicker in and out of sight. They are warm to the touch and seem to be somewhat magical in nature. Anyone can gather them in their hands; they do not quite feel solid but cannot slip through fingers or escape any container. If you find one of these, you must return it to the merchant. If you do not roleplay with him, it will be assumed that you returned the piece to him anyway; there is no way to keep these. They hadn't been able to find the landing site of the meteor so far. They had gotten a bit lost in the woods and unfortunately had had to call it a night when it had gotten too dark out to continue to look. At least not without flashlights. So they had come out here again, attempting to find where the meteor had crashed. It wasn't until it was mostly dark that the wispy things had started to come out and Bellerophon had tried to avoid them at first. He turned around to Itokawa. "Have you ever seen these things before? They aren't bad... right?"

He'd wanted to find the meteor and where it had landed, to make sure everything was safe. It wasn't like he really thought aliens had crash landed but he didn't trust that everything was entierly safe either, he knew how this city worked better than his partner did. He knew suchthings spelled trouble and that things in city, events and holidays, were neevr safe. This city simply wasn't safe.
They'd failed last night though and so tonight they were out here again and looking; so far nothing. When the wisps made an appearence he found himself staring for a moment before hs hook his head and turned his attention to his partner.
"N-no...I've never seen anything like this. This is new but I don't like things which are new in this city...not if they could be magical." Which this most certainly was magical, he was sure of it.
Reaching out to touch a wisp he found it warm. "It's nice...it doesn't burn or hurt." He said slowly, almost petting the tiny wisp. "I wonder if we can catch one..." An dhe wondered that if they did catch one would others follow. "It's warm even....so they produce some heat."

Bell was disappointed. He had hoped that his partner had some idea of what these things were. Even if they used magic themselves, magic that they had nothing to do with could be dangerous and unpredictable. It would be better to stay safe...
But he couldn't keep being safe all the time. He reached out to touch one with his glove and it did indeed feel warm as Itokawa said. "I'm not expert on these things," He said with a chuckle, "but they look and feel like they could be some sort of energy? That would generate the heat right? Though if it has a brain, then maybe it's just naturally warm." He attempted to keep the one that he had touched in his hand. It appeared to be staying there...
"It doesn't appear to be solid, but it doesn't seem like it's going to disappear if we move them around or put our fingers through them."

"That or it's like friction from moving or vibrating....I'm not sure, but magic could be the reasonfor the warmth." Slowly spoken words as he thoguht them over as he spoke. These thigns certainly were something he was unfamiliar with, but he was interestedin them. "If it has a brain I wonder why it doesn't seem worried about us...unless it can't sense us or doesn't deem us something to be worried over." Trailing off as he moved his hand under one of the wisps and brought it up to eye level.
"It doesn't seem solid but you can move and guide it. It's not something I can pass my hand through either..." How interesting.
"I wonder if we can put it into something and take it with us - to see if it does anything. We can observe it then and see what happens." If anything, though he certainly hoped nothing happened if they took one with them.
"I'm very interested in it."

Bell nodded. "Whatever the reason is, I would like to know about it. I know I'm still new and definitely don't have as much experience as you, but we can't keep going on with these weird magical stuff happening and expecting to just go along with it forever. Even if we aren't sure of the origin, maybe we could find a way to figure out if there was more out there that we're missing."
He wasn't sure, perhaps it had been the puddles or something that had intrigued him, but he wanted to know more. He didn't want to stay ignorant and just pretend that if the Dark Mirror let the Order and Negaverse fight each other that that was all they had to deal with.
"Maybe if we had a jar or something. Can we put stuff in mirror shards like our wraiths?" He said in response to the other's question. Glass seemed to be a good idea at least.

"I don't have a lot of expereince either....I'm not Remarque or one of the others with wings." Against them he still felt very new, and he knew it. But to think he was above someone else...that he had more experience, it was still a new feeling for him. "I know there is more out there but knowing all about it - no. I told you I met a merchant last year during the festival, he's a traveling alien. He said there were senshi and knights out there, in space, and the Negaverse too. But there is life out there and magic...darkness as well. We're not out there but there is a lot out there." Wonderment tinged his words while sadness tainted it.
"I wish we could see space...to see what's out there - to be a part of it. It feels like we're so cut off. Life this far out...he seemed to indicate that there isn't much life around us." It was sad to think about that.
"If we could see space though - to see the other lives out there and learn about them. To see what else is out there and learn about other things...what makes up other planets and what is normal there." So see the enviornments and learn about the magic and people in other places and the cultures. It was all something to wonder about, all things he wished he knew. "I don't think we can...I suggest jars...or bottles." If they could find bottles, even if they were in a trash can, he didn't think the wisps would mind.
"Time to find something." And he set off to do just that. "One for you and one for me."
