Nalani was sat outside, enjoying the fresh air. Though there were chairs in the backyard she could be using, the Earthborn wasn't using them. Instead she was near to the garden, kneading her paws into the soft earth along the outside of it where no plants would be disturbed.
It had been some time since her adventure under the ocean and she was enjoying the feel of the ground beneath her paws once more. The stir of the breeze in her hair. Just the smell of the wind in her nostrils was like heaven, still. Water was fine and all, but it was great to be back on the surface where she could breath normally and wasn't afraid of being swept away by some strong current.
Not that it hadn't been without its enjoyment. She wanted to visit the ocean once more and try some of that surfing, if she could. She just needed to find an alchemist who could sell her some of those potions for breathing better under the water. There was much to explore down there. She didn't feel quite done with it. After so long in retirement, the ocean adventure had rekindled her love for adventure. It had been so long since she'd had somewhere new to explore. Felt like she'd been everywhere in the world by now. Or, almost everywhere. Some of the gates still remained closed. Though she wasn't sure if she'd ever be up for another one of those, again. No. She just wanted to see something new, to catalogue it for herself.
Chuckling to herself suddenly, Nalani was reminded of the cream colored Fauna that had been with them. She lived here in town, Nalani thought. She bet Lucretia wouldn't be up for any kind of adventure near the sea ever.
