Leifite was above such things as the Star Festival and running around with weird s**t going on. No, it did not have anything to do with the fact that she had a roller derby tournament during a portion of the event, and all her training up to it took up all her time. No she was not being petty about the whole thing, and she definately was not not participating in what she could out of spite. No, she would never be that petty about it.
(Okay maybe she was, just a little)
She patrolled this evening out of spite and maybe would take her spiteness out on people. Maybe. At least, she'd do her duty to Metallia and the Negaverse.
Something pinged around the museum and she walked in that direction, finding a rather overheated looking Page. Ah good, fresh meat.
"What poor unfortunate soul gave you that outfit in this heat, hmm?" she asked, dropping into a fighting stance as she did. "Pity that you couldn't have been some where it was cold."
She'd let the page make the first move; never show your hand too early, and Leifite wasn't exactly the best fighter herself unless she was on roller skates.

Leifite's eyes narrowed at the page, his questions slowly grating on her nerves. She kept apprised of his stance, his posture, the fact his hands were on his hips. Either he was trying to annoy her to death, or was legitimately curious. Both of those things weren't exactly great. Besides, it seemed like he wasn't one of the types to attack first, ask questions later.
Damn. She was hoping she'd not have to lead this particular round.
"You're rather nosey for a page, you know. Best be considering your own safety instead of badgering an agent who will do you harm,[ replied Leifite, circling him a bit. She could take him. Weird looking pirate boy? Oh she had this.
Definitely. Totally. Probably.
"Oh it's not so bad, touching them. Just pass them on the street, bump into them, a little touch here and there does wonders in this city of worthy prey." A cheshire cat like smile spread across her face, visible more in her eyes than in her mouth. She pulled the scarf up over her nose and launched herself forward, one foot aiming for his hip to knock him off balance.

"You know, with the way that you have that scarf up it kind of makes you look like a nin-JA!" He said the last part with exclamation as he barely escaped being kicked, though she get hit him a little. Enough that there would at least be a small bruise the next time he saw it. Or not, he wasn't sure how all of this worked. But anyway, he managed to at least keep his balance as he jumped away from her, only just landing on his feet.
He would really have to get into Yoga or something. He was going to lose if he couldn't keep his balance! He could just imagine himself tripping and falling on his face very easily!
"Didn't think you would consider regular civilians worthy. Sounds like you might respect them." He said with a wide grin. He didn't mean it, but it was kind of funny to see if he had might be able to get a rise out of the Agent. He might not, but he wanted to see what Lieutenants were made of. Did they have any advantages over Pages? He was sure that some sort of chaotic Senshi would, they had magical powers at least, but Lieutenants he wasn't sure. He didn't see her holding any sort of weapon...

Leifite rolled her eyes and put space between them, breathing deep through her nose. Pace yourself Velma, or you'll burn out too fast. Remember, controlled breaths. The Lieutenant sneered at his grin, unwinding the scarf from her throat and holding it between her hands like some sort of lasso. "Oh I am certainly no ninja,"
Up the column of her throat - where not covered by the high collar of her buttondown - over her jawline and covering her buttom lip were darker patches of skin, as if she'd poured dye down her face and neck.
"Of course I respect them. They're part of the whole order of things, you know," she said, sneering just a little too wide. "They are, after all, what keeps this whole show running. And make such delectable bait for foolish members of the White Moon." She cracked her scarf like a whip, hiding the real weapon - horse brush - within the folds. She hadn't thought to use her scarf instead, interesting!
Black ink flickered across her eyes.
Calm Velma, calm.
The sneer returned to more 'normal levels' and she charged the page again, this time trying to get the scarf to restrain him.

Well, it appeared that this Agent wanted to be taken seriously as a battling opponent. So Voyager would indulge her. He may not have had a weapon, but he needed to see this fight through, at least until he was sure that he couldn't defeat the Lieutenant. He would get no fighting experience otherwise.
"Too bad. Usually people take being called a ninja as a compliment considering how deadly they can be." He said with his smile dropping and his face becoming more serious.
The darker skin was but a momentary notice. It was nothing to get distracted by. He had seen totally mummified bodies in-person. Differing skin color was nothing. And it was certainly not time to ask any rude questions like "what is that?"
His face was starting to falter under her words though, and when she "snapped" the scarf, it was a full on laugh from him. He just... he just couldn't take her seriously! This was something like what a bad guy from a cartoon would say!
She charged at him though and he decided to copy her scarf "technique". He took his own jacked from his waist, just to hold it for now, and jumped to the side when she was close enough, hoping to get out of her reach. He kept his jacket in his hand, in case it could be used in some way.

He took a moment to make sure that she wasn't getting up, but wondered if retreating was the best idea at the moment. She didn't appear that she would be getting up soon, but he also didn't want her to come back thinking that she could just use the area as her draining ground.
Still... even if she was just a Lieutenant, he was also just a Page and unless he had some sort of backup, then he wouldn't be able to drive her away that well, even if he won against her.
With a sigh he left her there. He did hesitate a moment in doing so, but decided that it was for the best. The Lieutenant appeared to have more problems than just the chaos that resided in her, and if something happened to her then it would be hers to deal with.
He still didn't like the decision, but made his exit, making sure to note and see if he could find someone else to patrol with him the next few times, just in case.
a-disgruntled-dragon Fine with me! Thank you for the rp!
