From what Chambersite had heard through the whispers and even seeing the General in passing once himself, he could tell that Faustite was really in no mood to talk about what had happened at the Farnsworth building. Or at least Chambersite didn't see a need to talk to the General, though he did find it a bit cathartic to see the General in so much pain. So he had to find another General who had been there, and someone he thought that he might be able to express a bit more to about his... concerns with what had happened. Scheelite was whom he had heard as a suggestion from Eveite when they had met up again, and so Chambersite headed down to the other's office, making sure he would be there so that they could talk, and knocked on the door when he finally made it. "Chambersite sir, needing to report about the Farnsworth Building... event."

Oh boy...
Oh no...
Well, he was a General! And he had been present at that 'event', so it only made sense that someone would come by wanting to talk about it... Scheelite felt that while they had accomplished quite a bit with the operation, it had not gone as smoothly as he would have liked. Ha, first mission since coming back and he had to evacuate Eveite due to her injuries.
Ugh. Stress. But everyone -HAD- come home, and in the end that was what was the most important to him. Other missions he had been involved in had not brought such results. Those were things he couldn't worry about right now though. Giving off a stressed out aura would not be conducive to good leadership.
He swallowed hard, pushed away his nervous thoughts, and gave a call over to the door.
"Come on in, Chambersite!"
Bubbly Scheelite was back, and upon entering Chambersite would find him sitting behind his desk and offering a smile.
"What can I help you with?"

Sometimes the experienced General appeared to be too happy to Chambersite, and he appeared even more so as he walked in the door. He was sure that it was to cover up something. What it was, he didn't care to think about, but be in the Negaverse as long as this General had and there had to be some things that one just didn't want to think about let alone talk. He put some papers on the desk before he sat down and sighed. "My report of the events and what I did during it for the building. I'm not sure how long you were there, but can I assume you weren't a part of the main action?" Chambersite hadn't been. He wasn't foolish enough as a Captain to go up against a Princess. "As much as I am loathe to say it, I need to... talk to someone about it. The whole thing appears to be a bit suspicious." He wasn't sure if he could be too specific with the General, they all answered to someone else after all, and what they said went without question. But they were allowed to think for themselves sometimes, and it's not as though it would sway Chambersite's views on the Negaverse in any way.

Scheelite glanced to the the paperwork being placed on his desk. He'd absolutely read over the full report, but not right this moment.
There wasn't much chance of him being able to focus on the written words and Chambersite's spoken ones at the same time, and the last thing he wanted to seem right not was distant or not paying attention. Being there for his fellow officers was the highest duty in his mind.
"I was not in the thick of it, no...I was in the outskirts helping people disengage when needed."
That was his specialty! Being in battle? ....No, there he would be far more of a hinderance than any great help.
"But even though I wasn't right there in the thick of it I'm absolutely open to talking about it. I'll read this report of course but first I'd rather listen to you directly. What happened, and why do you feel suspicious of it?"
It was genuine concern he was showing in that moment. If something was off it needed to be addressed. Weak links in their plans had to be shored up and reinforced. It was for the safety of everyone after all.
"No need to hold back, you can speak your mind freely here."

Chambersite had to think about it for a moment. "It's just a feeling mind you. But it all felt sort of... pointless? What exactly was supposed to happen there? Just a large amount of energy draining? That seems excessive. And it could mean that there's an energy shortage which I doubt."He shook his head. "I just can't understand why. Was it for the General who was in charge to prove his worth? Or did something happen during the middle of it that we aren't privy to?" He looked at Scheelite. "You may not even be privy to it either, but it just feels like I missed something when it happened and I'm not sure what it is."Which sucked. He wished he could more of a finger as to why he was feeling unsatisfied about the whole thing. He had battles a super and got to command some Youma and... that was it? It couldn't be. There was some purpose that was hidden in all of that action that they weren't being told about.

"Energy gathering on a mass scale was the point. Sending everyone out here and there to pick up bits of energy...works...but it could be far more efficient... I'm going to be honest here, I'm far more versed in the taking of starseeds than energy gathering."
It is what they did in his time, after all.
"But even applied to that...to take a bunch in one go might draw more attention to the operation, but if you can get in and out quickly it's far more beneficial. Not something to be done all the time, but when it can be pulled off...."
He trailed off a moment, tapping one finger on his desk as he thought things over.
"I think that's likely what happened. That much activity had the unlucky effect of drawing some of the more powerful enemies in the city to our location. Once they got there things just went downhill from there. I can't say for certain so it's possible something else was afoot. But if I had to lay a bet on something...it'd be that. It's all a good experience to learn from and make changes to not let it happen again. We were lucky this time around."

Chambersite thought about it. The General did have a point and much more experience than he did. Still... something about the whole thing bothered him. "What you say makes sense. And I agree that we were lucky, especially with the presence of a Princess in the area." More Agents could have fallen just to her. It appeared that even Senshi Royalty held back. He doubted General-Kings/Queens would do the same. "Something still bothers me about it though. I can't say what it is until I think more on it. As though there wasn't... enough? That we could have done more? I'm not sure." Perhaps it was just his mind messing with him. "I appreciate what you're saying though and value your experience." As much as he praised himself, he had to admit that there were those out there who could give some insight better than he, especially when they had been here longer. "I'm glad that I could at least talk about it. I don't think it was a failure and I'm certainly not against doing something like it again."
