Anniliese wanted to try out a new recipe she heard about. She looked around online on search engines first. She typed in “popular recipes.” After looking online for over 30 minutes she came to the realization that she worked better seeing it being made then reading the recipe and following the instructions from reading it. She then went to her social media accounts. She rarely used them anyways. She only checked them from time to time. She had them just for the few friends that she had. Good to check in from time to time. See what everyone is up to. She checked YouTube and saw a recipe for honey glazed salmon. She hadn’t had salmon in quite a while. She turned on the video hoping to be in luck of a list of ingredients first thing in the video. After the famous chef that is known all over for not only his tasty dishes but also is attitude towards other chefs or people in general a list was placed on screen. Anniliese paused the video and wrote down the list. She checked her fridge and pantry and saw she had a few of the ingredients. The store was only a 20-minute walk from her house plus she needed to do some grocery shopping anyways. She putted her shoes on and went on her way to the store. The weather was quite hot lately. She had to open all the windows and turn on all the fans. The AC wasn’t really working. There would be days when it would want to work with no problems at all. Those times were a blessing to Anniliese. She would crank it up and lay around watching Netflix. But then there would be days when it would just not turn on, or if it did turn on it would make a loud noise. A noise that sounded like a snoring bear. She would have to save up money and get it look at. But the fact that she just brought a new dryer and all her savings drained cause of it sucked. She will have to start looking for a job. Allowance and whatever pocket money she get is not enough. Making it to the grocery store she dug into her pockets for her shopping list, which she was glad she remembered to bring with her. And she also took out a quarter for the carts. This store required a quarter for the carts which you would get back after your done shopping. It was to make sure people didn’t steal them and it made it easier for the employees so that they didn’t have to search the lot for them. That part Anniliese got but the other part. People steals shopping carts. She made her way though each lanes getting what was on the list and what she saw she needed. She was also glad that she remembered to bring the coupons that her dad that for grocery shopping. They really made a difference. She made her way to the check out lane to see that their was a crowd of people. A lady in the font of the line was yelling at one of the employees. The lady’s hairstyle told Anniliese all that she need to know. The lady was what they would call a Karen. This was her first time seeing one up close. She was kind of happy that she was not the one who dealing with the awful woman. Anniliese was able to make her way out the long line and into the self check out. On her way out of the store she saw cops pulling up to the store. She debated whether to stay and watch or make her way home. She ordered an Uber and went home.
