As Jadarite could not teleport, it fell to the Generals to have their offices in Negaspace and fill out most of the confidential, magical side of the paperwork. Jadarite herself had only been to the castle a handful of times in the two years or so that she'd been part of the Negaverse, but with her superiors off on business this week, she'd had to ask a stranger for a ride and then go manually turn in her quota. It took longer than it should have for her to navigate the halls of the castle, and even longer for her to figure out how to log into the available computers and to find the form so that she could fill out her very basic report. She huffed loudly at the computer screen several times, since there did not seem to be anybody else around to hear it. After she'd managed that, something else caught her attention. It was difficult to tell where people were down here by aura alone, since everything seemed to pulse with Chaos, but she thought that she felt someone coming closer, and she was sure that she smelled food. It turned out that she'd been in the castle long enough to be hungry.

Chambersite was still pissed at Faustite. It had made him cook way too much food. More than he could eat by himself. When he realized he had too much an idea had popped into his head. Why not share it with others? That way people could get a sample, and if that a**hole of a General were to come by at eat some he was pretty sure that it would be burned to a crisp before it even made it to his mouth. A good spot of revenge. But even if the General didn't come, and to be honest Chambersite hoped that he wouldn't, he still hoped to have some positive attention towards his food. After all, he had been thinking of starting his own business. Food-catering centered. He still wasn't sure though, but it was a start to a career at least. It had been sitting while he had set everything up for others to be able to partake in the food and he was sure that the smell would bring someone, anyone in. Hopefully not a Youma. But when it was all ready and done, he grabbed his own plate to partake. He certainly wasn't going to skip out on what he had created! Stuffing, roasted meats of all sorts, casseroles, quiche, vegetarian and vegan platters, there should be something for every agent at least.

Of course there would be some food in Negaspace. People worked here, so they would keep snack bars in their desk drawers and small trays of candies ready for visitors. Jadarite remembered from the meeting that one of the General-Kings had a habit of baking, so she would not have been surprised if there were a few freshly made cookies floating around. She was, however, surprised when she followed the scent down a hallway and found one of the rooms laid out with a feast. That was the only accurate way to describe it. She counted at least five trays of food, and that was only what she could easily see from the doorway. "Captain," she said, without crossing the threshold. She was not about to disrespect rank, even for a man dishing up rood in an otherwise empty room. She did have to wonder about the context for this, however. She glanced around the room, and down the hallway. "Is this a meeting?" she asked.

A lieutenant came in. He wasn't surprised. They were probably the most populous of the Agents and probably smelled the food first. He nodded to her. "It's not. If you've ever made something in anger, well, that happened when I was cooking so I made too much food for me to eat. Even if I refrigerated it. Didn't want it to waste so I decided to bring it down here and let anyone who wanted to eat it."Well, he was hoping for some compliments about it. "Should have plenty of plates and utensils and whatever you need if you want to just dig in. I'm not going to make an order of priority based on rank. It would be silly to let this food stay out and waste while we waited for all of the General Kings and Queens then Generals then so on go before the Lieutenants." At least he could say that for now. But if someone of a higher rank came in and ordered him to wait for others, he would have to. And it would annoy him greatly considering this was the product of being disciplined in the first place. He didn't exactly wait for her either and started to dig into the food himself. While he may have made too much, he still wanted some of his own food considering he hadn't eaten in a while.

Jadarite raised an eyebrow at the table in front of her. "Anger?" she asked. For a moment, she tried to make some connection between emotion and cooking, but that was so far out of her realm of experience that she came up blank and quickly moved on. Remembering her manners and their ranks, she managed a "Thank you," then stepped up to the table. She took a plate and some silverware and then started serving herself. It was surprising that Generals or others of the higher ranks hadn't beaten her here, since from what she could tell, they stayed in the castle more with their duties and paperwork. She moved to the edge of the table and settled herself on an outcropping of crystal, but before she touched anything, she asked, "Is this normal when there are no meetings? I don't spend much time down here. I didn't know the Negaverse had," she pursed her lips, "Chefs."

He shrugged. "You could call it that or annoyance. Sometimes you just got to get the energy out of your body that comes from it. Just happened to be cooking for me." He said, taking another bite. The fork fell down and clattered a bit loudly when he heard what she called him and he could feel his eye starting to twitch. He took a deep breath and picked up the fork and moved it to the dirty utensils bin which he had brought. She probably didn't mean it in the way he thought she did, so he would let it slide for now. "It's what I do as a civilian. It's not normal to have them hired for here, though it's not a bad idea. But right now it's just me being a bit nice." He said, grabbing another fork and taking a moment to concentrate on the food that he had taken another bite of and looking over at the Lieutenant. "I don't usually see Lieutenants hanging out around here unless they're part Youma or something." Just an observation he had. "You do work down here?" He was surprised that they would hire anyone to do that at a Lieutenant level at least. He thought that work would be used in their civilian life until they were able to teleporting here on their own.

Jadarite knew that she should respect her superiors. That was the practical choice, important if she wanted to get that promotion she was chasing rather than facing disciplinary action of her own. She still could not help a small, smug smile when the fork went clattering to the ground. He was a cook, as a civilian. She wondered if he'd earned his current rank just by being a bit nice and making feasts for all the Generals in their offices on a regular basis. It would make sense. If he could teleport, he could come down and serve more easily. Perhaps she should spend more time in Negaspace, showing off her own skills. "I appreciate it," she said, taking another bite, although it was difficult to tell from her tone if she was actually grateful. "I was turning in my quota," she said. "My General is out of town, so I caught a ride down to put in the paperwork myself. I'm Infiltration, so I don't come down here much. Coverup stories need to be from a civilian perspective, so I can work on that above ground."

Chambersite couldn't quite get the annoyance he was feeling out of his mind, but he wouldn't let it show on his face. Even if he had wanted to donate the food though, he doubted he would have been able to. Too many health codes that he would had to try to follow while making it, so the Castle was the best place to do it anyway. It appeared that the Lieutenant was up for small talk though so it wouldn't be too awkward silently eating in front of each other. "Infiltration at your level? Good to see that some recruits already have a goal in mind." He didn't have one himself. Honestly, he liked being on-call and doing energy quotas and whatnot. It meant that he could continue his civilian life as he was doing so right now. "It looks like you'll be having to put those skills to work then pretty soon." He said thinking about the plan that Faustite had made. "I don't know how the branch works, but you might be doing some cover-up coming up."

Jadarite nodded, giving a smile that tilted up higher on one side of her face than the other. "I'm a journalist," she said. "It's what I was recruited for." The Negaverse had known her strengths from the beginning, and that saved her the trouble of looking through the branches. She had little interest in fighting more than she had to in Special Operations, anyway, or of looking through the same database over and over again in Information. Building the Negaverse's reputation was much more enjoyable. Although, she realized, smile quickly fading at the Captain's words, it was most enjoyable of all when other officers helped. "Why?" she asked slowly, her eyes narrowing. "Is someone planning to make a mess?" Accidents happened and she understood that, but this wasn't the sort of thing she wanted to hear.

"Journalism. That's good. Definitely sounds like you could learn and cover up a lot." He said with a smirk. "I just came straight from Romano's." He took another bite and considered what he was going to say next carefully. Was it really that big of a deal to tell someone of their plans who could join in if they wanted? He didn't believe it was. "If you saw any of the fliers or scraps of paper around here, General Faustite is planning on attacking the Farnsworth building. For what purpose, I'm not sure. But we'll be collecting a lot of energy at least." Taking another bite he used it to think some more. "What the real reason for the attack is, I have no idea." He looked at her. "Might be something worth investigating, but maybe it's just a run of the mill energy and-some-starseeds collection."

"Romano's isn't bad," said Jadarite, her tone polite because it did not need to be anything else. They both already knew that being hand picked for Infiltration was obviously better. She took a few more bites of food. It really was good. "I didn't see any notes," she said. "Like I said, I don't spend much of my time down here, and my General wasn't around to pass along any messages this week." She pursed her lips. "I would hope there's more to it than just gathering," she said. "If that's the case, wouldn't it be far more have people divide and conquer the quadrants of the city? All that focus on one building is sure to attract enemy attention, and make quite a scene." She blew a breath out through her nose while chewing pointedly on a bite of casserole. It sounded like it was going to be work for her even if she was not there on the day of. "I know. I know," she said with a wave of her free hand. "No questioning the big, important Generals."

Chambersite chuckled a little. He could tell from her tone that she obviously didn't think it was good either. He shrugged at her questioning. "Don't ask me. I agree with you that it would be better to do it from different points. But from what I've seen with the Negaverse, it appears to be a one and done space usually and then they take a while before their next big attack." He set his plate down, mostly done with his food. "Or else it's something that isn't even related to the Negaverse that happens. Either way, we never seem to really make any progress around here other than maybe getting more Agents." Whether it was winning or losing parts of the city or parts of the world, it didn't seem like anything happened. Small little skirmishes here and there didn't exactly work for winning battles unless the enemy could be exhausted. And the White Moon did not appear to be close to that. He nodded at her last statement. "Yep, you're probably going to have to get used to that until you're on their level. Then some of them might actually allow you to ask them a question. Or some could react like they're above you anyway."

Jadarite pursed her lips, considering the situation, then worked on finishing her own food. "I suppose if you're looking to eliminate the enemy, making a scene of some sort is one way to draw them out, but there are other ways. There are ways that will not perpetuate the terrorist rumors." She could understand some of the logic there. That did not mean she was happy about the waves it was going to cause. "In Witzend, we used individual agents as bait to lure out the senshi. It was effective. We were able to completely destroy their forces without alarming the local population." Her gaze flicked to a spot off in the distance, although there was no other change to her expression. "There were Negaverse casualties, but that's a possibility in any battle." She glanced back to the Captain. "If you could ask questions or run missions, how would you do it?" He wasn't a Lieutenant. He had some authority.

"Yeah, it's not going to go down quietly. Unless they can chalk up the fire to a system malfunction or insurance fraud, there are going to be too many questions." Perhaps Eveite could hack the system and include fake logs in it? He wasn't sure how all of that worked. Or maybe if the building had a small cafe/restaurant then they could just blame it on a worker being clumsy. "That's a good way to do it. I'm not sure if I would prefer that way as we would need to know more about the Senshi than we do here. Looking at the database it looks... empty. Though I know I need to add my own experiences to it." Some had already filled it in with Senshi and Knights he had encountered. "But I agree with your earlier suggestion. Instead of focusing on one building, we should be going after several spots, perhaps as a distraction, and then make it so that Order is lured into one spot, away from prying civilian eyes and cameras and take them down that way." He said thinking about it. "That would take a lot more people than we have active at this time I believe. Even the meeting we had didn't seem to interest many people who would have otherwise been very helpful."

" I wasn't at the meeting because I didn't know it was happening," said Jadarite with a small shrug. "I did not receive any messages on my communicator, or hear anything from my Generals about the topic." She squinted for a few moments as she put down her plate on the end of Chambersite's buffet table, not seeing a better place for it. "If we're looking to improve the Negaverse, we could start with our own infrastructure. We could have policies on how information about meetings is supposed to go out. We could have regular branch meetings so that we know who we're working with." His comment about the database had her thinking. She understood why the files on agents were confidential, but that didn't mean that they should know nothing about each other. "Then we could see what our strengths are and go from there." Jadarite took a few steps back towards the door. "But that's just a thought," she said. "I'm just a humble Lieutenant." She gave a smile that was definitely a bit bitter.
