It appeared to be a rare thing that Varda went out and about powered. But tonight she couldn't help it. Last time she had gone home she had been followed by two guys and couldn't power up in front of them to kick their butts. Tonight she had made sure to power up right outside of the rink that she practiced in, just in case they wanted to "try their chances" again.

She shuddered at the thought.

But tonight had been strangely quiet, even the streets had seemed emptier than usual. And she didn't feel anything that felt like some sort of Negaverse Aura. So either there was a really popular event happening elsewhere or tonight just wasn't that busy.

She was glad, it made it easier for her to go home. But before she could she felt a different aura. It wasn't a Senshi, but it didn't feel chaotic either... she had to go and see! And so she started to make her way to wherever it was coming from, hoping she was going in the right direction and not missing whomever it was that was exuding it.

She could have sworn she saw someone throwing something and that appeared to be where the energy signature was coming from. So she continued to move closer and saw that the figure picked whatever it was up, then noticed her too. Well, they were powered, it only made sense that they would realize she was there. And then they... waved?

She moved closer, no intent on fighting the other, just curious to see what was going on. "Hey yourself". She said with a smile. "I uh, sensed you and was curious since I haven't felt your type of aura or signature or whatever it's called before." She really had no idea what the "proper" name of whatever they felt was. "And just wanted to check it out. I'm Varda. Can I ask what your name is?" Even if the had been friendly, considering they didn't appear to be chaos, it could be that they wouldn't want to talk to her once they realized that she had a chaos aura. She had to be cautious all the same. But she had never seen... someone like that. What even were they?

She walked up to him, about a foot away from him and circled around him just to look at his outfit. Plain. So it probably meant he was on the same level as her for... whatever faction he was in. When she got back around him she grinned. "Dark Mirror Senshi. Different than Corrupt Senshi that are with the Negaverse apparently."

"So I have my own magic too. But, Dark Mirror drain magic. Not exactly sure why." She frowned. It always did make her pause when thinking about it. Could they really be the "good guys" trying to "save" humanity when they needed energy to do so.

What was really happening to it?

She got herself back into the present. "I'm guessing you're not a part of the Negaverse, so what are you then? Not a Senshi, but still looks a bit like a uniform." She said, hand on her chin and moving her face closer again to check it out. "I'm not interested in battling by the way. Though I consider it fun sometimes, it's only if I'm attacked."

It was true. The few times she had fought were in self-defense. Well, one time. The other times it was due to monster-stuff.

She was slightly disappointed that he didn't let her look entirely at his outfit. All she wanted to do was see what it looked like! It wasn't a surprise though. She used chaos for her powers, and that was against what he stood for. She did feel a bit pouty when he wouldn't let her though.

When he answered though she was even more intrigued. "A knight?" She said, straitening up and looking at him in awe. "You mean like what they have in fairy-tales and stuff? That is so cool!" Now she was wondering why she couldn't have been a knight! That sounded so much cooler than someone in some weird sailor-like uniform that had magical powers.

She shrugged at his question. "I was recruited. I'm not sure how it works, but I guess if one of your Mauvians had gotten to me first, I would have joined the White Moon instead." Really, she didn't know what the deal was with all of this. "Don't blame me for them being late. It's not like I knew anything about all of this when it happened." She truly hadn't. She had gone into this completely blind. "It's not like you just decided to up and be a Knight right? Something had to happen." She wasn't sure how "knights" were made, but she wondered if she could have been one instead.

For a moment her face scrunched up. Not because of him, but because of what he had went through. Negaverse Agents took souls? That was awful! She made sure to changer her face. "Sorry, that wasn't towards you, I just didn't know that Agents did that." Perhaps that was why the Dark Moon and Negaverse weren't allies. She stood up straight. "I'm sorry that happened to you. And from what I know, no, we don't steal souls. Not sure how we would do that either..." She muttered the last part, wondering how Agents took souls.

"We only collect energy for... "survival"." She said, putting the word in finger quotes. "Really we need the energy for our powers. No energy, no powers, no Dark Mirror. But we don't take souls to do so, the only way we can gather energy is through Mirror wraiths. They have to collect it for us. I don't believe they can go and steal souls." She had already lost one, and the cost had been monumental for something that was so needed. They appeared to be more of a risk than actually helpful. She probably wouldn't even use it if it wasn't needed. "Wraiths can't hurt people, other than draining energy. So if you run into one, you don't have to worry about it doing what happened to you." She said.

She smiled at him. "I'm glad you made it though. And glad that you're willing to fight. I think everyone deserves a fighting chance."

If there was something in the few feet around the to lean on she would have. The conversation was relaxing and refreshing. At least it wasn't some Order just trying to beat the crud out of her, even if had seemed to be going that direction in the first place.

She waved her hand when he said he was stingy. "Honestly, I wouldn't even let a wraith around you if it's ever possible." She had already lost one wraith to a Senshi that had just punched it. To be fair it was full of energy so it was much easier to get rid of it, but she had been very annoyed at the time as it had been a surprise when it had been attacked. She shrugged. "Sure, I think it is, especially if you just collect energy from anyone and everyone. I don't like to do that myself, but you aren't wrong in that it is wrong. If we had another way of keeping our powers then that's what I would do." She sighed. "I don't know if I could go over to your side, but I haven't been in here long enough to decide whether or not I actually want to change and," She looked at him. "I don't think it would be an easy process by any means. I don't have a reason to change, but I can't say that we're the best either. And from what I've heard from others, they're not quite sure what we do either other than trying to force a place that rejects us into our own image. Whatever that is."

Varda smirked. "Lucky you then." She was a bit jealous, but she hadn't run into a situation where her powers had run out for some reason, so there was probably enough energy for that for a while. Still, it meant that she had to continue to do so if she wanted to be a Dark Mirror Senshi.

She grinned. "It sounds like a small booklet would still be nice for you guys though. Senshi have cats and well we have those but also we can be introduced to it. Sounds like Knights just get their powers though. I'm sure it would be helpful just to have a little booklet that said 'You're a Knight now! Here are some basics of what you should know!'" She said giggling a little. "It wouldn't have to tell you how to use your powers, but it could at least tell you what you could do now that you have them.

"You are kind of amazing though. You can pay it forward and help people. And while technically I could do the same, it would still be through hurting others you know? One night I thought I could help one of my friends by draining the energy from some guys who had been following her after competitions but I just ran into a Senshi instead. Nice guy, but it was disappointing that I can't help my friend another way with my powers, you know? You though can help defend people and use your powers for good. I can, I guess, but the need to drain energy kind of dampens it a bit, even if it would feel good for a bit of revenge against a couple of a**holes."

Varda nodded. "Nope, no stealing starseeds. I don't think we can even do anything with them. Or even grab them. And since we only need energy, there's no reason to kill people right?" She couldn't find a reason herself at least. If she did find that other Dark Mirror were killing civilians though, she would definitely start questioning things.

"Yeah, the Negaverse I've heard too many bad things about to even consider them as acquaintances." Though she had only met a few, and that was in that foggy alternate reality village or whatever. They didn't appear to be nice though.

"Thanks for the warning. I'll keep it in mind. I don't believe that we're giving it to anyone in particular, we're just trying to make our own..." She tried to come up with the word. "other world? Not sure how to describe it, but it appears to be between realities. But I don't believe there's any top leader there that we answer to like the Negaverse appears to."
