Hobbies: Creative Writing - Alston is
constantly writing stories. He has notebooks full of them on a bookshelf in his room. Not all of them are winners, but the best way to create is to simply write and trim it down later. Mostly his writing leans on darker themes, and often incorporates the
oddness of events in Destiny City.
Radio Dramas - He has a passion for the shows that entertained the masses during radio's heyday, and has raided the Radio Archive to listen to as many of them as possible. Determined for the style to live on, he's been recording some of his stories which he releases as podcasts for others to enjoy.

Observant -- Oh, you might
think he isn't paying attention to whatever conversation you're having, but he is! A very observant fellow, Alston always has his senses open to what's going on around him, even as he works on something else. Though he can't pay 100% attention to everything, he's capable of getting the gist of things and spotting details others may have overlooked.
Resourceful -- Alston is used to making the most of everything he has at his disposal. Not one to waste anything, he's always looking for ways to reuse something. This takes form in him endlessly raiding the internet's archives to remix free resources for his show, or making use of the environment during a fight.
Flaws: Vindictive -- Oh, he might smile sweetly and act like everything is fine, but if you have wronged him he will
never forget. Alston holds onto every slight, cataloging them and plotting the perfect revenge. Maybe a biting word at
just the right time. Maybe something a bit more violent. Whatever way he enacts it, revenge will eventually come.
Morbid -- He doesn't understand why people may stray away from darker topics, especially those revolving around death. Dark subject matter is what really gets his creative juices flowing, and he can be a bit
too eager to share that sort of thing with other folks.

But when it comes to actually interacting face to face with people...well, that's where things get awkward. Laughing at the wrong part of a conversation, completely misreading the tone of what's going on around him... he tries, but social cues just escape him.
