Wrapped around with a towering cement barricade wall, Parious is very cunning when it comes to defenses but lets first talk about what they are protecting. Yes, the civilians are one thing but they care more about their wealth and beliefs. To them, the Greek Gods must be prayed every Sunday and must be given gold to appease them, but the king is well guarded within his castle in the center of the kingdom. This place is a great place for trading for anything aesthetic, not giving many when it comes to weapons. Weapons were given to only the warriors protecting the kingdom which is vast in numbers.
The rivers leading up to the kingdom are protected by towers on both sides of the river, connected by a large chain that would flip over any ship if not too careful. Protected by crossbow wielding Theras Soldiers and ready to strike down any who pose a threat to their Great Kingdom of Parious.
