Sawtooth
For the most part, Sawtooth tried not to engage too heavily with his powered side while in Destiny City. Visiting his Wonder was one thing- one thing he quite enjoyed, actually. There was nothing quite like the feeling of powering up and having the energy of what was unmistakably his "home turf" flowing so easily into him. It was almost addictive. With Kaiah to guide him and Sawtooth protecting him, there seemed like so little could go wrong there.
But powering up in Destiny City was a risk. He was still only a page, weaker than so many others, and even his meager energy signature would be a beacon to trouble. It just seemed ill-advised that he go out on patrol alone when something much worse than him could pop out to fight him.
And probably try to kill him.
Sawtooth wasn't dumb. He didn't get anything out of scouring Destiny City in his powered guise, so why should he? Especially after seeing how much fight could go on, when the Negaverse had interrupted Cybele's training event... That was the reasonable thought. That made sense to him. Yet... He could only visit his Wonder very infrequently.
Sawtooth was not always open to him, but that didn't mean he didn't want to feel her powers flowing. He didn't want to go on patrol. He didn't want to get into any fights. He just wanted to feel that extra surge of energy. He wouldn't stay out long.

Kitty
It was such a delicate balancing act, but the tenuous strain between a successful civilian life and an engaging powered life was one of the struggles Kitty lived for.
He'd always been used to the night life. His business was most active during those dark, midnight hours. Perhaps that was why it didn't come as any surprise to discover that his newfound enemy was also most rampant once the sun had set. Despite having no particular interest in "why" agents of chaos were his enemies, nor any grandiose desire to save its victims, Kitty still felt firmly that they were his enemies. They were people he could fight.
They were people he could kill.
And he wanted to.
Since the opportunity was available for such an experience, wherein Kitty good be the "good guy," taking out villains with virtually no consequence to his civilian life, he figured why shouldn't he? If he was careful and attentive and dutiful, Kitty could get away with murder, while Amadeus never suffered for his actions.
It felt like all the combat lessons he'd ever engaged in (courtesy of his parents: a young, beautiful, rich boy should be able to defend himself in a city as seedy as DC) were for this life. He felt like he'd been training for senshi-hood since he was small.
The universe certainly did work in mysterious ways.
Kitty's heels echoed as he moved down the sidewalk. He typically patrolled alone, but that by no means meant he wasn't interested in a little company, so long as no one held him back. When the aura of a knight picked up nearby, as well as something darker not much farther off than that, Kitty felt it like a thrill of anticipation up his spine.
They were in for something interesting tonight.

Rakovanite
Most nights, Rakovanite found that there was nothing of any particular interest waiting for him in the streets of Destiny City. He had his energy quota to fulfil, and so he did. And infrequently the flare of an unusual aura would be enticing enough for him to investigate. He didn't usually engage unless prompted, but he did like to observe, if given the opportunity.
Sometimes there was none. When an opposing aura was absolutely determined to avoid him, there was virtually nothing he could do about it. Even if he tracked it as far as he could, the signature would blink out before he came too close, presumably meaning its owner had powered down and left no trace, effectively dodging him. It wasn't worth his time and energy to track something actively running from him. Others came toward him when they sensed him, either looking for a fight or trying to dissuade Negaverse activities with their presence.
Rakovanite was not so blatantly confident that he felt able to dissuade auras more powerful than his own alone. So when the auras of eternals and knights blipped to life around them, he didn't feel ashamed of evacuating the scene.
But in the case of things that felt weaker then him...
It was still worth being aware. Even he had used magical artifacts to conceal the strength f his aura. He shouldn't be caught off guard. Still, when the vibrant pulse of two nearby auras alerted him to Order presence, Rakovanite thought it better to simply wait and see how they responded when they noticed him.
He didn't feel the need to flee from what felt like just a basic senshi and a page, but he wouldn't give chase if they stayed away from him. If they were worth a fight to him, they would approach on their own.
He barely even needed to be doing anything. But he didn't want to waste time waiting, and there were still a few stragglers leaving work even at this late hour who could offer him their valuable energy.

Cierret
He really hated how by the end of the day, small strands of his fine hair had managed to escape the confines of his ponytail and dangle limply in his face. It was messy and unprofessional. It tickled his nose. It was consistent and annoying. No matter how many times he did and redid his updo, they still broke free and fluttered around his eyes.
Cierret was squinting and grimacing as he made his way out of his office and toward the street to his car. He was fortunate to have very standard nine-to-five workdays, with little need to go in early or stay late
But on very rare occasions, he would need to do some scant research in order to help people meet their financial goals. He knew many of the resources the city and government and banks offered, but sometimes something new would slip in. Sometimes he would want to be sure he'd looked over every facet before giving his recommendations. He could do the work from home, but... Home was where the cats were.
It was just quieter in his office sometimes, easier to focus.
Today was one of those rare days when he'd stayed later. The buildings on his street cast massive shadows as the last dredges of sunlight dipped away behind the horizon. The sky was inky blue overhead, fading to a summery orange-pink in the distance. It was a pretty night, though a little chilly with the sun gone.
He hurried along, acutely aware of any people that may be lingering nearby. It wasn't going to be him getting caught by stray muggers and ending up on the news.
