Pruu approached the clearing in much the same way she had the first time she had arrived. She was early, alert, wary, and ready to fight if it was needed. After all, she had been alone last time; today, her precious family was with her. She glanced over her shoulder to her wife and their daughters, and felt the swell of delight trying to take over the cautious front she had up. It just couldn't be helped. The girls would finally get to meet their aunt, and vice versa.
On the last visit, she had been shown the local flora and fauna among her personal explorations. She had gone over everything ad nauseum with her family on the journey out to prepare them and give herself a little more peace of mind.
The other relief was that Luleta was more than happy to hang off of her back while they waited. The youngling was liable to go scampering off to explore before the meeting could happen! While Pruu would normally make the girl walk on her own two feet, she felt an exception could be made for today. "Remember girls, it's time to be on your best behavior."

Luleta hugged to her mother's back tightly, eyes wide and eating up the sight of everything they passed. This was a whole new place! There was so much to see! The trees were different! The sky was different! The air was different! And to top it all off, she would finally get to meet the mysterious, mystical aunt of hers.
Pruu's warning made the youngling huff softly. They were being warned again? "Yes, Mata." She turned her attention to her sister and grinned. "We can't be too good though. Aunt Pyrrha might not let us go back home if she likes us too much, right Alizeh? What if she tries to keep us forever?!" Luleta was beside herself with nerves, hoping that her aunt would like her at least a little... but after being told to be good so many times, she found herself lightening up from her concerns to tease her mother.

Akel had been tasked with keeping the girls entertained the last time Pruu had come out to meet with Pyrrha and that had been a task all on its own. So as they all went to the meeting place together she was at least glad to have Pruu with her to keep an eye on the girls. Luckily Alizeh's adventurous spirit had been somewhat quelled with the new area and she'd not tried to sneak off. Luleta was on her Mata's back but Ali was glued to Akel's leg.
She looked down at her daughter with a bit of exasperation but a smile none-the-less. "You know you don't have to hold so tightly Ali.." Of course when her sister mentioned their aunt keeping them forever the girl gripped even tighter. Akeldama was now sure circulation was being constricted. "Lu, don't scare your sister." She somehow doubted Pyrrha would want to keep the two once she realized how anxious kids made their parents feel.
She reached down with one hand to pat Alizeh's head while her other held onto her spear like usual. The blade was still wrapped in cloth, a habit she'd picked up when she'd visited the earthling settlement and ran into a particularly bright one. Akeldama looked over at Pruu with a smile. "I might take Pyrrha up on an offer to babysit though."

Ali was nervous from head to toe. She had taken to clinging to her Oma's leg the moment it was brought up that they were going to be going out to meet their aunt. Luleta had gotten a piggyback ride, and normally she would like those too but she was too scared to let go. When her Oma offered she had shaken her head furiously and held on tighter. As they walked her grip had loosened a little but she still clung. The warning from her Mata made her nod a little with a small worried noise. Their aunt had sounded so cool in the letters but the way they had been warned not to wander off and now with Luleta's possible threat of being kept forever... She tightened her grip on Akel's leg again and this time didn't let go. Wide eyes stared at her sister for a solid second before she looked at their Mata for some reassurance that it wouldn't happen. When Akeldama mentioned babysitting she snapped her head up to stare at her Oma as tears gathered. "Nooooo. I don't wanna be kept forever!" Others might find it strange that the girl had enough courage to go out and explore the forest around Zinnris but was chicken now but she thought it was normal. The forest around their own village was home. Even seeing some earthlings was normal. This place was strange to her and she hadn't grown up in it.

Pyrrha ll 1
If Pyrrha had been watched before she was being outright tailed this time. The sisters were keeping a respectful distance, but they were understandably cautious. Pyrrha herself was anxious, though not for the same reasons they were. The scant few that were tasked with keeping her 'safe' only feared for the safety to the elidae bloomed on this island where as Pyrrha just hoped her sister's family would love her daughters as much as she did. She'd learned so much about her nieces through both Pruu and Akel's letters that she felt undeniably guilty about keeping the twins a secret. And yet, what could she do? If those letters had gotten to the wrong elaria then this meeting never would have happened.
Or worse...
"Stay here for a moment." Pyrrha murmured, reaching over to give her daughter an affectionate kiss on the forehead. The little elidae smiled and would have laughed had her mother not put a finger up to her mouth. "Not yet, Enya," she whispered, a little laugh of her own slipping out. As much as she would have liked to have her whole family here with her it hadn't quite worked out, but later in the day they would be together. That much she was sure of.
And speaking of cousins...Pyrrha could hear them long before she could see them and once she got into the clearing she gave a little laugh. Her daughter was close by, but tucked up in a bush with an elder watching close by. "You wouldn't want me to keep you for just a little bit?" Nieces! Goddess, even after reading the letters and seeing their drawings she still couldn't fathom how much they looked like tiny versions of their mothers. "Alizeh, Luleta! I'm so happy to meet you!"

Enya ll 1
Enya had been practically buzzing with energy all day. At first she'd been practically obnoxious because she was getting to see her Aunts and cousins first. Pyanka would have to wait, same with mama Kanika, but despite the risks Enya acted as if she'd won some sort of prize. All she had to do was promise to listen to mama no matter what she said. So, she'd practiced being as quiet as possible and keeping really low to the ground. When she'd asked why she couldn't go out with Pyrrha right away Enya had simply been told that 'patience yields focus'. If she ran out she might scare them and this was supposed to be a happy day.
So the child simply waited. Her wide, vermillion gaze took in the scene before her with an anxious energy. That lady...she looked just like mama Pyrrha! And the other woman - that was Auntie Akeldama! And her cousins! They were little, just like her! She'd always thought they would be older, like Nayyara, and now that she knew otherwise Enya was biting at the bit to meet them.

Pruu glanced back to see Ali's reaction, brow rising slightly. "Don't you worry, Aunt Pyrrha would not keep you forever. For one thing, I would never allow it. For another.. you two would drive her crazy within days, if not hours." She smirked and gently butted her head against Luleta's. "I might allow just a little babysitting."
Her head snapped around when she heard the rustling grass of someone's arrival. Instantly, she was looking for any other figure accompanying her sister. Anyone who might pose a threat to her babies. It was probably going to be much like her previous visit, but she was not about to relax when her daughters were involved.
Feeling her daughter practically chomping at the bit, she sighed and set the eager girl down with a smile rising. "Ladies.. this is your Aunt Pyrrha. Go ahead and say hello."

Luleta pouted and shook her head. "I didn't mean to, Ali! Calm down. I won't let you get kept, either."
She gasped sharply when she heard the new voice, eyes widening with interest and awe. "Aunt Pyrrha?" she repeated softly. She was vibrating with excitement when she was set down. "Ali, look! Look! You can tell, because she looks like Mata!" She giggled and waved her arms, knowing better than to just run forward in a strange place without her mothers' say-so. "I'm Luleta!"

Since Akel was in the back she got to see Pyrrha when she stepped out, a whole two seconds before Pruu. Her gaze moved toward her wife with a smirk of appraisal. The fact that she'd caught on to the noise of someone moving even among the girls' fuss was impressive. For a fraction of a second she allowed her guard to drop so she could mentally fawn over Pruu's skills then she was looking at Pyrrha again. Her smirk changed to a warm smile as she looked at her partner's twin. "Hey Pyrrha." Akeldama moved her head in a nod of greeting.
She looked over at Luleta as she started to make a fuss and wave her arms. Akel chuckled. "Yes, Pyrrha does look a lot like Mata doesn't she. Both are beautiful and strong." It was a compliment but also a slight tease to her wife if she relaxed enough to get it.
Looking down Akel gently pat Alizeh on the head. "See. Your aunt is here." Along with a few others. The grip on her spear tightened slightly and she quickly glanced in the direction Pyrrha had come from. A muscle in her jaw ticked before she was looking back down at her daughter with a smile. "Aren't you going to say hello?" She tried to urge Ali into being social.

The strange voice got her attention and she stared at Pyrrha with those same wide eyes. For a moment the fear was replaced with some confusion over the fact that she looked very similar to Pruu. In fact Alizeh had to look over at her Mata to make sure she hadn't somehow moved and changed clothes without her knowledge. Once it was established that her Mata hadn't in fact done that she looked back at Pyrrha in time for Akel to pat her on the head and urge her to be social. She peeked over at her sister, who seemed to be super excited about the whole thing, then back at her aunt. she loosened her grip on her Oma's leg so that she could wave a hand shyly. "Hello. I'm Alizeh." After she spoke she went right back to hiding behind Akel's leg but this time she wasn't holding on as tightly. peering out at Pyrrha she spoke again. "Please don't keep me forever."

Pyrrha ll 2
Pyrrha's smile couldn't have been bigger if she'd tried. Luleta's enthusiasm was almost as infectious as Enya's and she just knew that they would be close. "Even if you hadn't said your name I would known it was you, Luleta. Your drawings were spot on! The two of you have a real talent." Of course they hadn't covered every detail. Their markings, the little curves of their smiles and their individual personalities ... There was only so much letters could do!
Looking up from one niece, Pyrrha gave a soft wave to Akel and the little one clinging close to her. "You look well, sister." Because that's what she was now, right? As close as blood now that she was tied to Pruu. Still, it wasn't Akeldama that held her attention but rather the shier child. It was precious, seeing the way the girls looked between the two of them, and it made her almost want to try tricking them. Dress Pruu up like her and vice versa; see if their kids could tell the difference.
"I wouldn't dare, Alizeh. Maybe for a night or two, if I'm lucky." Pyrrha took a half step to the side, and took a deep breath. "I haven't been entirely truthful with you both. Pruu, when I told you that I wanted you to meet someone it wasn't the islanders..." She turned toward the brush and held out her arm. "Come on, Enya, it's safe now."

Enya ll 2
"Go on, little one, but don't ru-"
The elder barely had a chance to push the brush away before Enya was bounding across the open field towards her mother. She'd grown up on an island surrounded by love and embraced by new age thought so it stood to reason that the little elidae held absolutely no fear in her heart. Instead of just taking her mother's hand she jumped up towards Pyrrha and laughed when her mother happily caught her, then began to swamp her forehead in kisses.
When Pyrrha sat her back on her feet Enya smiled, bright and cheerful, towards her family. "Pruu!" She pointed to her mother's twin. "You're easy; you look just like mama! And you're Akeldama; mama said you had a big spear." Now which one was Lulu and which one was Ali? She'd paid attention to some of the introductions, but not enough to really retain anything.
She felt her mother's hand on her head and shut her mouth with a little frown. Talkin' too much I guess.

Pruu reached out to pat Luleta's head affectionately. Her girls were something special, that was certain. Then she turned and held her hand out to Alizeh encouragingly. "It is alright. You can come forward more." Once again, the variance in the personalities of the girls was stark as night and day. They were teaching her so much...
Pyrrha;'s warning had her look up with a knit brow of confusion, distracting her from her other thoughts. That was right, she could remember the mention of meeting someone; a soul- Someone suddenly jumping from the bushes made her hand snap out to grab Luleta's shoulder protectively, but that was all she did. After all, she was focused on the joyous little figure leaping into Pyrrha's arms.. and the glowing smile on her sister's face that she had never seen before.
A youngling, strange looking, but similar enough that... Esena was blooming. This was...
She could feel the heat trying to burn at her eyes, her body stiff with emotions. How cruel the world was that Pyrrha had needed to hide this.. a daughter...

Luleta managed to catch what Pruu didn't and grinned at Akeldama. "Yeah! Both of them are!" She was so proud of the family she came from! "I wish Mata and Pyrrha had more twins. That would be so neat!" It would also mean more aunts and a bigger family.. but that certainly wasn't likely.
Then someone else joined the scene. Luleta barely flinched when she felt the hand grip her shoulder. "What is that, Oma?" she asked, peeking back only briefly. Slipping out from Pruu's loosening grip, she took a few steps closer for a better look. "It's like us, but the colors are funny.."

Seeing that her daughter caught the tease she'd aimed at her partner made her grin. Likely a good thing Pruu hadn't caught on that she was low key hitting on her wife's twin while still complimenting her wife. Best not to point that out unless she wanted to be hit later.
A chuckle left her as Alizeh hid behind her leg again. Even Pruu tried to coax their shy daughter out. When Pyrrha said that she would only keep the girl for a day or two she smiled up at her. "Oh you might return them in a few hours." Once Ali was comfortable she got curious and Luleta was just full of energy. When mention of not being truthful was brought up Akeldama put all her attention on her sister-in-law. A glance once more in the direction she'd noticed others and she was just in time to see the emergence of a small body from the bushes.
Akel watched the child run across and jump into Pyrrha's arms. Once movement had slowed to a less blurry speed she took in the look of the child. She had slightly different coloring but she was clearly related if her markings had any say. The question that came from Luleta had her turning her head a small fraction so that she faced her daughter but her gaze remained on Pyrrha and her daughter. "That.. is your cousin. I believe your Aunt Pyrrha called her Enya before she came dashing out of the bushes." Now her eyes looked at her own daughter. "Her colors are different because she comes from a different tree. Just how the Alkidike are different colors from us because they hail from Aisha."
When she looked back at Pyrrha she showed a frown of sorts. "I will admit to being hurt that you kept such joyous news from us. Had I known I had a niece I would have brought her a gift. The girls could have written to her and given her gifts as well. Was it me you didn't trust or ...?" Akel hated to put such a damper on a happy occasion but she needed to know the reason behind the secrecy.
