xxxxx※ Sweet as can be without a truly mean bone in her body, Challen doesn't see much of anything as a threat. Her optimism is unwavering and often tries to keep a more cheerful demeanor to keep herself from falling back into a dark-place mentally. She refuses to believe that anything is inherently depressing or unnerving- choosing to look to the brighter side, find the silver lining, or even shrug it off as "such as fate, it is what it is." Due to past experiences she does suffer from anxiety and depression but has since sought out help to calm and curve the more sever episodes but still isn't out of the woods for "off days." Dedicated to her work she's very work oriented and driven for success no matter that there's a few bumps in the road along the way.

xxxxx※ In her down time she found fascination in technology, wires, doodads and doohickies. It stemmed from model kits her parents would bring her while she stayed in the hospital. Once she was free and able to leave after her health had gotten better; the projects became much bigger and more elaborate.
xxxxx※ Cardio was the way to keep a heart in good condition, right? Well, she took that to the extreme. She ended up investing time into learning how to free run and parkour-- taking her health into her own hands.
xxxxx※ Declining health meant that it would strengthen your other senses, right? Well, maybe that’s not entirely true. Since her recovery, Challen had begun to notice that she could remember events, images, people, and various things in great detail. Eidetic memory is what she was told it was.

XXX｡｡｡BIOGRAPHY
xxxxx※How are you supposed to break it to your child that they aren’t going to be like the other children? That they won’t be able to run, jump, and play? Have a birthday with all of their friends, go on field trips with the other students? That they aren’t ever going to live a normal life? Well, that’s what Challen had faced growing up. In her early years, her parents retained information from her that involved her not being able to see past her adolescent years. They had just told her time and time again that she was just sick and they were trying to figure out what to give her to make her better. In reality the young girl was suffering from heart failure-- a condition she had since birth which heavily hindered her way of life. She was never strong enough to stand on her own, always bound to her bed or some flimsy wheelchair. She was never able to see the outside in risk it would hinder her health further. The only source of entertainment she has was the presents her parents would bring her and an odd boy who would occasionally visit. Once or twice being her roommate for a bit- the two staring at one another trying to figure each other out without uttering a word to one another.
Soon some time would pass without so much as a visitor-- primarily the boy, who she had learned to be named Zach. Her health would decline to a point where she would have been placed on oxygen in order to help. One fateful day however, she was informed that she would be getting a roommate for a bit of time, someone to keep her company. Once he was brought in and sitting on the bed parallel to hers within the small room, she would turn her attention over. It was him! Sitting up as the two met eyes, she would smile over at him. The two began to hangout, strike up conversation, and play board games with one another. Even when Zach was released after proper care, he would somehow find a way to come back and visit her. One of her fondest memories was when he had snuck into her room in the evening to visit her. The night he whisked her away to the outside world! She was so enthralled with the feeling of grass for the first time that she nearly ran herself ragged within the first few moments of them being outside. The two often shared aspirations with one another; goals, dreams, wants, and needs. Which brought on the promise of the two accompanying one another on their pokemon journey once they were old enough-- provided Challen lived that long. However, the young man was persistent claiming he’d take her along even if he had to wheel her around the whole region! She had to admit, she got a good chuckle out of it.
The morning came where she was given the news that they had a donor! Challen Trandafir would be getting a gently used heart in the hopes that she would live a normal life! After the procedure she went through the necessary steps to get herself up to par with being able to walk on her own, run, and breath. She couldn’t begin to count the amount of times she cried due to no longer being hooked up to all the machines, hearing the ungodly sounds at night. The thoughts she had of leaving her best friend behind. It was all over, she was normal.
At the age of 10, her life had begun! Setting out on her adventure with her faithful friends; Celica, Zach, and Alkis. The group traveled through the first few gyms together before breaking off- Celica and Alkis going on while Zach and Challen stayed behind for a bit before Zach disappeared altogether. Challen just figured that he had some other things to take care of so she went on with her own. Once she was finished with her gyms, she would break off for a bit to take care of herself which lasted for a short period since Zach returned from whatever it was that he had been doing. At that point she would tag along as moral support with his new found friend; Arthur.
At the age of 16, she moved in with Zach. Purely as friends of course just wanting to get out of their parents house. Everything went smoothly for a period of time as they would have. At least until one awkward night. Challen had originally gone to Zach for a bit of advice on a battle she had coming up. Instead, she ended up sitting back and reminiscing with him over recorded videos of his previous battles. The two grew closer to one another until they were enveloped in one another’s arms, sharing feelings with one another. One thing leading to another that evening and the two decided to make it official. Needless to say the two were inseparable from that point forward. After a couple years ( 18 ), the two madly in love with one another, were engaged.
Everything from that point forward was like living on a high that never ended. The two being so infatuated with one another, it seemed like nothing wrong was able to bring them down. That wasn’t the case. Within time, things became a little… odd. Zach began to come home later and later. Challen would try to question it, but she never got an answer. Instead, she was told not to worry. So, she didn’t. At least for a bit. Soon there were nights where he wouldn’t come home. So, not knowing what else to do but to confront him. Confronting him when he got home, she would try to question him with what had been going on the past few months. He dodged every question, telling her not to worry and everything was fine. She would exchange further concerns but told each time that everything was fine. No matter what she said or asked, nothing would change. Ultimately, she accepted what he had told her; everything would be fine.
One day, her whole world fell apart around her. Returning home from a morning outing, she came home to an empty house. Which wasn't out of the ordinary anymore. However, with a letter left behind addressed to her, from Zach. Inside it stated that what he was doing was far too dangerous for him to be around her. Stating that he had to be distant, as far from her as possible. Surely this wasn’t where it ended… He was coming home, there was no way he was gone… right? Taking the pokeball and calling out the pokemon, she looked down to the tiny Litten. She spent the rest of the day, sleeping on the sofa waiting for him to come home. It never happened.
