• Lilou Laflamme | E | Student | puppeteer | scholar | Origami
Appearance: Black and white hair. wearing This With a black beret

Another day another lesson in the life of Lilou whom sat obediently in free student time craned over a few scrolls. Where some of the students had chose to go ahead and perform physical training, Lilou wasn’t one for the whole enjoyment of a face to face encounter so had decided to focus on connecting her clan techniques and some basic Fuuin. The basic principals were what she was currently reading up on, the capacity to seal an object within a scroll benign fundamental and more complicated a concept than some seemed to give it credit for. A smile and a sniff from the girl as she looked at the paper crane, pointing a finger at the crane like a gun and then bucking it back like taking a shot, each motion deliberate and almost mechanical in motion as she aimed for realism, the crane vanishing as she did so.
(Sealing)
With a silent clap and an air of pride about her, cleared pleased with herself even if she was already quite confident in her success. Either way at now she needed to retrieve said crane and that was the easy part if she remembered correctly. Taking a pause and lifting an index finger to the corner of her mouth and tilting her head, eyes looking upward and her lips pressed together to telegraph her current contemplation. After a good ten seconds of this she pointed the finger away and lifted her eyebrows as if she’d realized something, turning back to the scroll and mimicked the attempt to drag something out of the scroll, standing up and yanking as nothing a couple of times, pausing for a second to girl a look of surprise, wiping her brow as if overworked and then went for one final tuggggg! Poof, smoke revealed a crane and Lilou tumbled over backward, flipping over the table behind her onto the ground before proceeding to lift a hand and give a victorious thumbs up.
(Unsealing)
Lilou slowly pulled herself up from the ground and brushed herself off, fixing her stewed hair as she did and magic a slightly disgruntled expression as she’d bumped her arm off of a chair on her way down... the pains of performing. She began to go back to her reading as the teacher arrived behind her and gave her a tap on the shoulder, scolding her for distracting the other whom were actually studying... which she was but only a little mucking about, being sent to go practice with all the type of training she was attempting to avoid. Defeated as her teacher had no time for her silent gestures of protest, Lilou trudged into the training area where a dozen or so of her classmates trained, a few waving at her in greeting and calling her to join them. With a half hearted shrug as the girl sighed through slightly poured lips, she went over and joined them in their training.
(Transformation)
Reaching into her equipment pouch at her hip and pulling a small scroll from within it, holding it in the air like some holy grail before unravelling it. The seal she had marked was done by her father and now it was her job to remove what his within its recesses, a puppeteer needing a puppet even with basic sparring. Now how did it go again? Ohhh yeah their was no difference when it came to unseating things of this level besides maybe positioning, which she was smart enough to consider as she raised her hands about face heigh and spread her fingers. Stepping her foot onto the sheet of paper she channeled chakra into the scroll and out came an fuzzy orange, thick eyebrow, monster type muppet that was about her height if not slightly short and with inhuman proportion, waving at the others and yelling a greeting happily ”Hallo friend, it looks like we will have to fight YESSSS, MMMRMMRNNMM!” It nodded with the final statement, leaning its head back and looking at the other shinobi from the bottom of its eyes, the last noise a sort of growl it made whilst shaking its head warningly, lifting its arms in a way similar to a Muitai fighter.
(Puppet summoning)
Her hands raised and fingers moving rather obviously to make the creature perform its movements, the voice produced by her although this was basically unnoticeable. She had to use a fundamental technique she had been practicing for a long time, the art of puppet control... a rather complex and intricate shinobi art. From each of her fingers she had created a chakra thread that would lead toward her puppet and its hidden mechanisms... for which she only had two relatively low brow ones, the only other ones she had we so dangerous she hadn’t been allowed to even practice with them. When her fingers moved again as her face turned into a mask of concert rare, her casual smile leaving her face as she curled her bottom lip inward with focus. Her Muppet rushed forth as the other student did the same, lifting his leg with the clear intent to kick the thing to the side with almost immediate success, that is until it yelled in “pain” as a click from within could be heard as it was being pushed aside, a cough noise emitting from its orifice along with a sturdy cable net that snatched the lad out of the the air before his kicking foot had landed.
(Puppet string)
The lad landed face first on the ground and began to struggle and stopped only when he saw the girl standing above him offering a big smug to the lad. At her side the Muppet waved positively as him and make a frank statement ”Saaarieee but you lose now, yeEEESS!” The creature nodded as it slowly turned to look up at Lilou who was hold a casual handsign and a friendly smile, raising her eyebrows knowingly before mouthing “buh-bye!” With that she dropped a torrent of paper slips the size of post it notes rained down on top of him, the paper all seemingly sticking to him as he struggled, leaving just his nose uncovered, muffled yelling a clear side affect of the struggling cocoon of a student. Demonstrating her clan abilities was more her style in this type of scenario and she was reaching the point that she could actually cause someone grief with it, even if only minor.
(Origami)
Taking this opportunity to inspect her Muppet which the other body had kicked, allowing herself to choose her creation over him to check upon. Lucky for her it only took minimal damage, although if she had tried its other non lethal weapon she would have been SOOL and probably got popped one, not a fun prospect. She moved off the collect the scroll she used to summon muppet, then paused and trickled her face and wrinkled her nose as she realized she could do this the hard way. Hands together in a single handsign she made a frown and squinted her eyes as she tried to focus on the puppet and dismiss it, thinking her way through each step one by one until she felt she had it right. Pausing she realized she got one of the seals wrong and tried for a second time, careful to make sure she got the boar sign down instead of horse and voila... her puppet disappeared in a plume of smoke.
(Puppet sealing)
Fortunately for the other lad the net went away with the Muppet and he managed to tear himself free of the paper, face red and scrunched up in frustration and embarrassment. He approach the quiet puppeteer as she silently praised herself and leant over to pick up the scroll, not prepared to get roughly shoved over onto the ground. She landed with a whomp heavily and banged her elbow and head and didn’t land in a graceful pose, lifting herself up slowly and shaking her head before holding where it hurt and looking up at the lad with a questioning face, not understanding the intense reaction. He managed to get about one hundred and thirty seconds of anger and insults in without her giving much sign of anger, just quietly taking it with a less than thrilled expression, although hadn’t seemed particularly insulted until her uttered the words “your dad..” and no more as she threw a post-it note sideways that would glide a few feet and detonate loudly. Lilou stood up and walked up to face the lad eye to eye and jabbed a finger at him and shoved another into his hand with produced writing, the kid reading it and sheepishly nodding, apologizing for getting carried away.
(Detonation)

Lilou was clearly grumpy still but was willing to nod in acceptance of the apology, wagging her finger to indicate not to do it again. As this point it was back to training, the act of having beanbag thrown back and forth, a sort of practice for substitution technique considering all the objects around that could be used for such a purpose. Lilou was managing just barely but that might be related to the fact she wasn’t using substitution, no she was trying to confuse the people throwing beanbags at her with paper that flutter around and folded off of her. Several beanbag smack into her i rapid succession, the girl sheildineg her face as sheets were blown away, her expression one akin to the bag kids at dodgeball somehow surging to the end. After a while the beanbags would start blasting holes through her every so often, which was actually a good thing as after being blown away the paper would return to her body and fill in the created hole, a stable technique of her clans that she was slowly getting the hang of.
(Dance of the shikigamo)

Just as the sense of accomplishment at her success with the family Jutsu, her dad would be so proud that they might even have hotpot and play some board games tonight, ohhh happy expectations... but then she felt a sudden sick and seizing sensation and began to slowly fall sideways. It must have been that she’d run out of chakra and didn’t realize it was coming, how could she be so careless it was ridiculous but it happened here and now. The impact would bury her in sheets of paper that slowly rained down on and around her position, devoid of chakra. She made a squeak of displeasure and a long drawn out exhale, realizing that she was one of the only people in her class to ever do this to themselves at school, the others were sure to not let this go for a good while, a day filled with equal parts success than failure... she supposed it was a positive end as she dramatically reached out an arm to dramatize the fact she was about to actually loose consciousness but couldn’t remember what happened next.

———Missions
1.0-career, juvenile fun show!

Standing before the first crowd she’d even been assigned to was a heart lifting sensation for the young Lilou, the butterflies in her stomach partying like it was1976. All thirty three younglings only four, five and six in age between them stared wide eye at the stripy shirted girl, her red beret and white face paint and gloves giving her a sort of sheen as she walk carefully and fearfully across a very thin path! She tip toed with long slow steps, wobbling and taking longer than needed to complete a step when only on one foot. Slowly a prop of a palm tree and smal clump of land would be rolled onto the stage toward her, her smaller orange Muppet waving enthusiastically toward the children before turning to look at Lilou slowly. ”Hallo there, you am decide to cross the skinny bridge, that look real hard so let me help you onto my island, yes!” It said with a robust and projected voice, reaching a hand out in offering to the balancing girl who would look at him with wide, confused eyes and slowly turn to look at the kids and shrug “ohh well” at them and deliberately turned her body toward the monster and gave one powerful nod to accept the muppets help. Immediately after the nod the Muppet reached toward Lilou and tried to grab her hand, the girl wobbling and withdrawing her hand and shaking her head “no” then pointed toward her shaken legs, the Muppet following her finger as she would wobble on her legs a in a rapid and shaky bow legged manner whilst shaking from side to side, implying an extreme lack of balance and trying to signal that they would fall if they did it that way.

The orange Muppet stared and turned its head toward the children and cocked its head, making a loud thinking noise, putting one hand to and elbow and beginning to stroke his chin and look upward slightly. ”Soooooo me am thinking she want help, seem to be in trouble but then stop monster help and dance.... maybe they really want to dance and not want help... maybe I ask to be sure.” its words could be heart in a slightly quieter manner and in a way that implied thinking, pointing his finger in the air when he came to the end of his thought and turned to Lilou who was still wobbling in place, at the end of the path a small jump away from the island. The monster would point a finger and inquire ”So you am be wanting help to get on my island yes?” She nodded yes and so the monster immediately began to reach toward her and she stopped him again, the monster looking more confused and scratching his head ”why you stop me?” it inquired as Lilou gave a big visible sigh and pointed to her legs and did the big knee bent wobbling again and the Muppet gave a huge sigh and picked up a prop coconut and threw it at the girl, knocking her into the water props with a splashed of non-existent water, the children all laughing at the result and only getting louder as she emerged with a big defeated from on her face with a prop ruined hair and seaweed wig.... it was going to be a fun show.

—— Vocal practice - career mission

Her teacher watched the young Lilou with surprised eyes as the girl appeared did vocal work while throwing her voice into the red Muppet on her lap. She seemed to be sticking to an array of higher notes, the voice being sort of soprano and childlike in nature, filled with enthusiasm as it “do Rae Mi’d.” The girl and puppet both coughed for a second, the sound done in her own unmodified “voice” but through the puppets mouth. She picked up a glass of water and cleared her throat before and after taking a sip, pausing before taking another sip before place down the glass with a satisfied nod and smile. Her teacher lent back and rose a hand to indicate that she continue as they always enjoyed how this girl insisted on doing things this skillful with her voice, being as the girl was never seen speaking normally to anyone.... this teacher the only one who’d had the pleasure of hearing her real singing voice, albeit projected from a doll.

The lesson soon was underway after the warmup, the student switching between three different puppets as she followed the instructions on vocal work, all while accepting scrutiny for the smallest hints that she was the one speaking. It wasn’t something easy to do or cope with that type of critical learning but Lilou had requested this Spartan training and besides showing that it was difficult or frustrating she didn’t let that deter her. After an hour of random little conversation between muppets and an instructor who almost felt like she was teaching them over the student, the both of them were subtly satisfied with today’s lesson, Lilou immediately melting into a chair and opening a can of pop and drinking a long draft of it while listening to the teacher girl a light review and hand her some practice assignments to do in her own time. Unlike some student Lilou would most certainly do more than the minimal amount of practice so long as she didn’t get distracted by anime or playing risk or other lengthy board games with her dad, all dad on his days off.

—-Muppet Movements

Lilou lay ontop of one of the wide desk fronts of her classroom with a horizontal and vertical control bar in either of her hands, face wracked with concentration as she tried to control Monty, her theatre Muppet that she used before she could create chakra threads. She wiggled and moved her left wrist, then her right with sluggish form. The was making her muppet slowly step left foot, right foot and would stop when she did, straightening as it did so and looking up at her with a lean of a wrist and giving it a meek smile. Lilou wasn’t thrilled with the results and turned to puppet to face the opposite direction, repeating her original motions but with more flop in the puppets step as she made it pause and turn toward the few students watching ”WAAAAAAHHHT? Why you am staring at me, have you no seen a monster walk before?” It would declare loudly whilst its mouth flapped open and closed and it turned its head left to right whilst doing so, stopping at the end of its questions, hands on it “hips.”

The response it got was a little laughter and the blunt answer of “you walking your puppet in circles, why though?” Of coarse it would have a follow up question and the whole response also aimed directly at Lilou, who gave them a bewildered look and shaking her head, the Muppet looking back at her for a second before reaching its hands up and patting at its head in frustration. ”Nggh NOOO, me am the one talking to you, No her, NEVER HER!!!!” it yelled at them in a loud and rough voice, swinging its arms toward her with a flick of her wrists, Lilou giving an apprehensive look at the other, tilting her head to the side with a light smile and eyebrow wiggle to indicate the muppet was technically right. Either way the Muppet continued to answer the originally posed question ”Me am TRYINGGGG to learn to walk, more graceful and befitting my figure!... people am appreciate me moarrrr yesss mmmrrhhhh!” It announced as it rose one hand in a way attempting to seem majestic or noble, just looking like a bright orange monster trying to present something that wasn’t there.

This rather quickly devolved into the monster being made to pose based upon request, the monster shifting personality slightly to as if it were on a runway. Lilou smirked and sat up, cross-legged and more alert than beforehand, a participatory audience always something to energize a performers motivation. Each time she shifted her hands the monster would be in a new pose, bending over with hands on knee zones and looking forward and shaking its head slowly and making an exhale sound as he opened his mouth, strutting whilst kicking his legs inward with one hand on a stuck out hip and the other loose at its side. The requests came and were answered, the last IOC monsters actions involving him winking and blowing a kiss, trying g to act like some sort of supermodel as it did so and earning the wanted laughs. Lilou made a huff of an exhale and the muppet momentarily followed suit, spiralinrg in a as he made reviving down noises and finally lay on the ground limp. The student bowed playfully and put the control bars down and stretched her fingers and arms, aware she had five minutes to pull out and wolf down her lunch, the Muppet left for dead until the bell went off, Lilou smart enough to move it onto her desk side.

Well today was a day that got the Lilou a who lotta looks, the girl clad in a head to toe, miniaturized and nigh exact replica of their tears outfit. She had been setting this up for a while and was prepared for the discipline she was likely to get. She hid herself at the corner of the classroom opposite the door and awaited the teachers arrival, stepping out from her hiding spot as they entered and walking to a seat that mirrored where the teacher would be standing, meaning she wouldn’t be hard to miss. Lilou lifted her hands as if gripping paper as her teacher picked up the attendance sheet, waving in unison with him in a mirrored form. She maintained copying the teachers mouth and body movements as he’s read though each student, finally they reached Lilou and the teacher would read out her name and added something in an aggrieved tone “Lilou, your here and you need to stop copying me please.” It wasn’t so much a question as just speaking politely even if her didn’t want to suffer through making her pay attention.

Lilou did not concede and would continue to copy the meagre physical and mouth movements of the teacher, not perfectly maintaining the expression as the students whom had begun to snicker had contagiously made Lilou wish to laugh and it was visible. Lilou had really improved at mimicking people as they moved to a frustratingly on point level, only a trained eye would notice she moved after the teacher. Throwing the attendance paper onto his desk neatly it was time to stop Lilous antics the usual way... a piece of chalk to the skull outta do it, blue and 2/3rds expended it wasn’t a big sacrifice. The clamorous laughter that filled up the classroom would take a moment to calm down, Lilou having countered the chalk with a piece of her own at the exact same time and destroyed both people pieces simultaneously. Lilou had fist pumped unintentionally as she hadn’t expected to succeed and instantly realized she broke character and returned to the teachers current stance, only to receive a large piece of chalk smack her right between the eyes, snapping and puffing up dust which made the girl who’s face was wrinkling in discomfort sneeze rather unexpectedly and smacked her forehead clean into her desk. Today it could be easily said that the teacher succeeded in dealing with Lilous antics.

———

The narrator!- this mission is written as if narrated meaning that all actions shall be stated as if being told and it as if reading the actions, all speech comes from above lilou and her speech is done by the same voiceover.

“It was the middle of the afternoon in a beautiful day in the Arashigakure. On this beautiful day a young girl in the prime of her youth began to rose from a nap. “Uggghhh” She would say as she rose her head slowly from the cool wooden desk, attempting to reassemble her hair with the most minimal of movements. It was at the moment a lad by the name of Kenchi, a few months older and a few brain cells shorter than the young girl had turn and given her an uncertain look, his brows furrowing shortly after as if the newly waking girl had somehow slightly led him, a testimony to the lack of brain cells we can assume.” It hasn’t just been that boy but several other members of the class had turned in surprise and confusion, used to her antics but this was new for her.

Lilou was throwing her voice toward the ceiling of the class and it came out something akin to a male and almost accent less teen autobiography narrator. “Lilou, the name of our young star would lift her arms toward the sky as if attempting to touch the ceiling, one arm bending at the elbow to grab the other and pull it inward as she stretched. It was in that moment that the girl would turn her head toward the sky, almost like there was something strange that had caught her attention. “Where is that voice coming from?” She would say while putting her hands on her hips, a tint of reluctance and disapproval clear in her soft as honey voice. It would be then that she would set this matter aside, for the teacher within her classroom had called for attention and most students would follow suit. The mans warning would fall on deaf ears as the frustrated girl would turn back to look at the ceiling, not noticing the teacher pulling back their arm as if to throw the chalk at Lil-ouch!” The sound of chalk on skull and clatter of chalk hitting the ground, a small puff of dust where Lilous head was, the girl having fallen over her chair upon being struck like a clutz, although the exclamation of pain was still in the narration voice. The students of the classroom laughed loudly at this, another job well done on being the class clown.

——Crafting
(My new friend!)
Lilou was beginning to get bored as she sat in a tree overlooking a small bowl of whisky that she had to convince her dad she wanted going to drink. The small bowl sat against the tree with a well hidden pitfall trap she had spent the better part of the day creating. The elusive Jackalope was her quarry and it was proving to be rather elusive as they were define to be, as in it hadn’t made a single appearance yet. This whole plan had been sparked by a rumour that one had managed to arrive within a cargo delivery to the village, several sightings were enough to convince her that it was worth the effort to try.

Whilst beginning to doze off she was brought to by a sound or breaking foliage and a small screech that caught her of guard. Lilou would crane over to look and saw that her trap had worked, a small furry, long eared animal bearing a striking resemblance to a hare with a horn in the centre of its head. Lilou would hop down and crouch at the pits edge, offering a wave to the creature who would shy away from her. “What do you want? Why did you do this? Let me go, please?!” It would say in a rapid and distressed tone, giving her a look of frustration and pleading. Lilou would shake her head “Yes!” and would hold up a hand and a finger to indicate under a condition, picking up the alcohol and placing it at her side. The hare would lick its lips and squint at her, asking suspiciously “Well, that smells really nice, I guess you aren’t so bad if you’re offering me that... fine what do you want to let me out..?” It asked as its eyes were glued to were she placed the container.

Lilou pulled out a small scroll and pointed at it, then at the rabbit and would hold the scroll out, unraveling it to reveal it as a contract scroll. Lilou would c**k her head and girl a “well?” look as the Jackalope considered it options and rapidly conceded to her request. The Jackalope slapped its paw onto the scroll and declared “There done, you mark it and we have a contract.... now let me out and gimme some of that good stuff!” It requested, as lilou would stretch her arm down and let it climb up and get to enjoy its draft.

—-A valiant protector

Lilou was bobbing up and down on her heels as her dad looked over her contract scroll closely. His glasses were magnifying his eyes from her side through their thick lenses, Lilou always finding it impossible to tell what he was thinking when he inspected things with those glasses on. The man finally leant back and hummed in consideration as her rolled it back up and presented it to the excited girl. She looked at him expectantly, her smile faltering as he sighed like he did when he felt something wasn’t done right, looking down and crossing his arms, Lilou was crestfallen. Suddenly he brightened up and popped his hands In the air “Banzai” it would mean, the man grinning and hug his daughter who wanted to be mad at him but couldn’t.

He withdrew a large helmet that was too big for a person and signed to the girl with one hand “You understand that she might not take to you, she is picky so please don’t get your hopes up too high my little Liloulou!” His expression bright even if he had a serious tone to what he was saying, Lilou nodding her head in understanding. It would be disappointing if after all this work making something so intricate would flop but she was willing to accept that, even if she had spent days slaving to make it just right. They arrived in an off side building of the villages research labs, the inside being something like a gigantic aviary of some sort, Lilou amazed by its size but a little distracted focusing on carrying the big a** helmet her dad handed her.

Sticking fingers in mouth as he was greeted by two other employees the man whistled loudly and then greeted the other two with a nod and introduced Lilou. The girl gave her usual polite smile, blushing a little as they threw compliments and mentions of hearing all about her from her dad. The scientist would then express the same as he did, that she shouldn’t be disappointed if she was refused and she should move slowly, show respect at all time and of coarse back off if things didn’t go well. Lilou nodded again in understanding as she got the feeling this wasn’t going to go well at all, however she was distracted by a loud whooshing as a massive black falcon flew down and clapped its massive wings to slow its descent for the landing. Lilou had to shut her eyes and look away as her hair bucked and her beret flew away much to her dismay, the helmet preventing her from doing anything about it.

Lilou gave a disgruntled look as she tried to shake her hair out of her face and blinked her eyes to make sure no dust had got into them. “Ahhhhh, yet another child you have brought to see if they are worthy of being in my charge? Well, I haven’t all day so let’s get it over with, introduce yourself...... we’ll go on, why are you just standing there, speak child or I shall leave for you wasting my time.” The creature said in a discipline yet haughty tone, implying that this activity was basically beneath her, irritation mounting immediately when Lilou didn’t answer her question and instead looked at the helmet, puzzled as she was without her hands. One of the scientists hurriedly attempted to get her attention and said “Ohhh Aishala-san, please don’t take her silence the wrong way, This is Marcel’s daughter Lilou, you’ve heard about her before, she doesn’t talk much like her father, although she can hear you unlike him, he says she has something that she gave up her birthday present for after hearing that your last one got broken, go on and show her, Lilou.”

Despite not being thrilled in having someone else tsk for her Lilou would nod and grin, presenting the large silver helmet piece above her head with strained effort and wobbled toward the Falcon. Aishala blinked and bent her head to the side and watched the girl closely with one eye, “So this is the princess Liloulou, yes? Then I will humbly accept this gift m’lady, if you would be so willing as to place that on for me?” The massive creature said in a straightforward manner as Lilou turned to look at her dad with a cross face, spreading that nickname around was embarrassing! Still there wasn’t time to focus on the man smiling knowingly at her, Lilou turning to the expectant Falcon whom would lean down and present her its head. Lilou struggled a little slipping the headpiece in place, its size and weight so much that her arms felt like jelly afterwards and screeches in relief. Aishala stood up and looked toward a reflective surface and considered how it felt about the present, turning its head about to get better looks at it. The great Falcon nodded with satisfaction after a moments consideration and turn toward Lilou and leaned down close to the girl who lent back and widened her eyes as this was rather intense. After a moment the Falcon would stab ”It will be hard to sign our contract if you just stand there dangling your arms princess, let’s see the scroll then?.” It she in a more gentle manner for her disciplined and tough mannerisms but her words carried an insistent tone behind the words, Lilou sheepishly withdrawing the scroll and gaining a great and valiant comrade.

(Adding both this and the prior crafting mission is 8 paragraphs, more than enough to obtain grandmaster at half post requirement. 7 posts to get from apprentice to grandmaster.)

—- White wine!

The first poison every crafted by Lilou is known as white wine, made during her days at the academy. Using certain herbs she will crush all the motion out of a large amount of them. The clear liquid produced by this need only be stored in quantities of one litre and allowed to evaporate until only ten percent remains. The remaining substance contains most of the harmful elements and undergoes a small reaction over the span of time, this substance able to be applied orally, through a wound and is even able to afflict itself through skin contact.

(Complete 1/2 for veteran poisoner, one post discount, then halved form PA and GM scrollcrafting)

Red wine is a very similar concept to white wine, also made in her academy days. The inspiration of said poison was from someone say “hey you know how a hot pepper stings your mouth and can be used to blind people, I wonder what else you could do with them in combat?” Lilou heard this and made a concentrate of hot peppers and a few other chemicals to mix it into and absorb it. The result is a light poison that is very uncomfortable and makes the blood feel like it burn with the power of a chilly pepper!

—(complete Veteran rank 2/2 posts.)

Lilou crushed up some herbs and insects together in a small wooden bowl, a mask worn to protect her from breathing in any potential fumes and wearing gloves. The reason being that this was a comparatively different poison she was working on, this one directly dangerous and this causing her to be nervous in the handling. The combination of the insect and the herbs was surprisingly toxic and so she hand gathered a large number of the needed plants and insects and spent hours pasting them together. Going through the process of taking the toxic chemicals at the end of this and turning it into a gaseous form was a big difficult but Lilou would be able to do it.
