After losing the game to Hargitt she had stayed to have a few more drinks with him. Of course that made her more than tipsy and in need of an escort upstairs. Thankfully her company was nice enough to oblige, though the details beyond that were hazy to her. Rajani didn't even remember walking up the steps.

At the moment it was still early morning and she was laying on her stomach in bed. Not too odd considering. What was odd was that she could feel the warmth of a body next to her. The shifter lifted her head up and turned it to look at who was beside her. Her grey gaze landed on the wind male himself. At first she thought the worst but when she looked down his body she noticed he was fully clothed and a check of her own body said she too was dressed. So nothing happened. Likely just too lazy to walk to the other room to sleep, or too drunk, or both.

She gained a deadpan look on her face and shifted in the small bed so that she could put her feet on Hargitt's back and push. One good heft and he was slid across the sheets and onto the floor. If he didn't catch himself he was going to land with a THUD. Rajani leaned over and looked down at him. "Real men sleep on the floor." That said she moved under the covers to take advantage of the warmth he'd left behind.

It wasn't often that Hargitt allowed himself to become so comfortable with anyone else. Of course the drinking had helped a fair bit; it made him more open, more receptive to communication and more liable to stick around when he normally would have retreated earlier in the night. In all honesty Hargitt didn't remember much of the night. He knew he'd played a few hands with Rajani, drank, played a few more games, drank some more and then thing started to dip out after that.

Under normal circumstances Hargitt was not a heavy sleeper. With a few drinks under his belt, however, and Hargitt became a stone. He was sprawled out on his back, one booted foot hung over the side of the bed and completely dead to the world. The man very likely would have stayed that way well into the afternoon had a well placed kick not sent him skittering into the floor.

At first he didn't really register what was happening. His brain was foggy for the movement and only really jarred away when first his hip crystals jabbed against the floor boards, then his shoulder spikes and then his head. The fall was loud and only broken by the still half asleep groan that slipped out. It was quickly followed by a murmured curse.

"What the hell?" Hargitt pushed himself up onto his elbows and buried his face in his palm. Where am I? What happened? Details were slowly slipping their way into his mind and bit by bit the huntsman was putting things together. He was still in his room at the inn, but on the floor...? Then the comment about 'real men' got to him and he looked up at the side of the mattress. With a frown Hargitt sat up and looked over the lip of the bedding to Rajani's snuggled up form.

Hope you like earthquakes. Grasping the edge of the wooden bedframe, Hargitt used his muscles to lift the heavy bed and proceeded to shake the ever living life out of it.

She heard him but didn't bother to roll over and look at him. She figured he'd either go back to sleep or just pout and leave. Rajani didn't expect for him to shake the bed. Instantly her eyes opened and she half sprawled out on the bed. "sToP tHaT!" The pitch of her voice went up and down as she was shaken.

After a small growl she grabbed the pillow and did her bed to roll over while experiencing a man made earthquake. When she finally managed it she glared at the shaky image of Hargitt before she struck out to dmack him.with the pillow. Due to the shaking her aim was nessed up and she would hit his shoulder or chest rather than his head. "sOrE Lo-oSeR.. KNoCk It oooFf..." If he kept it up she was going to tackle him and he wouldn't like it. Though she imagined he was lucky she didn't have her hammer or she might have used it.

Hearing the quake in her voice only made him shake the bed harder, this time going so far as to pause for a second and then absolutely buck it like a wild beast. If anyone was unfortunate enough to be below them then they were likely having one hell of a morning too.

The huntsman saw the pillow coming his way and didn't even bother dodging. He wasn't worried about her aim, pour as it was, but when it caught on his shoulder crystals Hargitt was temporarily stalled. No matter how he twisted his shoulder he couldn't dislodge it so Hargitt was forced to set the bed down to manually pick it off.

"You didn't pay for the bed so you have no say in how I use it." When Hargitt lifted the pillow he was prepared to throw it back at her, but a few free floating feathers caught his eye. It had been punctured, then tore a little and now he knew on top of all this he was going to have to buy a new pillow.

The small pause gave her a false sense of security and she took it to try and move into a better position. When the bed bucked she shrieked as she was sent backward in a sprawling mess of limbs. "DaMn YoU!"

When he stopped to get the pillow off him she got to and had to brush her hair away from her face as she puffed. Her hair was a complete mess. She stared at him with an unamused look. "You are not using it.. I am." And she had paid for a room so she could complain all she wanted. "Just sleep on the floor." And stop shaking her brains out. "You want in the bed then you will be a pillow since you just ripped that one."

Perhaps Hargitt would have felt more satisfaction in the act had her shriek not felt as if it were piercing his skull. The huntsman winced, pinching his eyes closed as a sharp pain rippled through his temple. He was less concerned with the pillow now that the headache had started and Hargitt raised a hand to passively rub his forehead.

Looking at her through a vein of blonde hair gave him an amusing sight, though. She looks like a moracker who got caught in the pantry. He didn't think he'd seen anything this huffy in his bed since...well, in a long time.

"I was using it." Hargitt gingerly picked himself up off the ground and looked outside. It wasn't so late in the morning yet that either one of them really needed to worry about getting ready, but it also wasn't so late in the night that he could justify going back to bed. Holding up the sad remains of her pillow, Hargitt tossed it over to her side of the bed and sat down on his side to work on taking his boots off. "Stop complaining. If you wanted a pillow you should have taken care of the one you were given."

Hargitt shifted until he was laying on his back, his head properly supported with his pillow and a smug, almost challenging look in his eye.

The curls and braid that normally kept her hair up and away from her face were gone, so Rajani literally had a mass of wavy silver hair that looked like someone ruffled it non-stop for a good three minutes. Another huff and she brought one hand up to push any stubborn strands away from her face. She shifted in bed so that she could adjust how she was sitting. It was about that time that he tossed the pillow over. It smacked her in the face and gave a sad puff of feathers on impact before falling to her lap.

The deadpan look she gave him as he sat down said it all. Raja ran her tongue over her canines with a cluck before she shoved the damaged pillow off the bed onto the floor on the other side. Never mind that she had a feather or two stuck to her hair now. "Yes, because I knew you were going to rip it." The shifter half glared at him as he laid down and had the audacity to look smug.

She looked him up and down for a second. Normally Rajani avoided people for various personal reasons, but Hargitt had already proved to be trustworthy enough. So she gave a snort and a shrug before simply laying down, or more like dropping her weight on him, and using his huge chest as a pillow. She had warned him that he would become a pillow and she followed through on her threats most times. "No snoring, or I'll suffocate you." A hand came up to point at him since she couldn't glare at him effectively.

He quirked a brow up at her and gave a cheeky, fangy grin. It was perhaps the most outright expressive look Hargitt had given to date and was painfully short lived because in the next instance he was closing his eyes for sleep. Well 'sleep' in a lightened sense. If anything he was hoping that if he closed his eyes she would settle down and he could rest off this headache until his body was willing to start moving again.

What he hadn't expected was the sudden weight that knocked the breath out of him. He gave a hearty grunt and opened one eye, fully frowning at the mess of curls obscuring his view of her face. Hargitt had half a mind to shove her off, but that would just start another round of squabbling and he really didn't have the energy for that. So, instead, he rolled his eyes and tried to settle in.

"At least have the decency to share a blanket."

To say she was pleased that the wind was knocked out of him was a small understatement. However, when he mentioned sharing the blanket she lifted her head just enough to look for the thing before grabbing it. Since it was partially under her she had to roll and tug at the same time, which meant that Hargitt had to deal with her half laying on him for a minute. When she finally had it she settled back to simply using him as a pillow as she spread the blanket out enough to cover herself and the bottom half of him.

"There.. that's the best I can do unless you literally want me to lay on you.... Actually.." She shifted position again. Rajani moved up just a bit so that she used the upper bit of his chest as her pillow, almost at his shoulder. The reason she did that was that so her messy hair would be in his face and annoy him. She gave a smug smile of her own, even if he couldn't see it, then fixed the blanket so that it covered the two of them a little better. "There." With that done she closed her eyes and tried to settle on sleeping.

With all of her squirming he'd given in to a huff and an eye roll that border lined aggravated. Maybe I should just get up after all. Having her in the bed was like trying to get one of his younger brothers to settle down except that they, eventually, would.

Still, a part of him didn't want to actually harm her, so he raised his arm and stretched it out along the top of the mattress against the headboard so as not to graze her with his shoulder spikes. It was a little awkward, but given the fact that neither one of them particularly like physical contact it was better than coddling her as she slept.

After all he'd done to make her 'comfortable' and she repaid his kindness by shoving her hair in his face. Perfect. He blew on the silver locks just enough to get them away form his face so he could finally settle down.

"You're not wearing your boots in the bed, are you?"

Rajani noticed that he moved his arm out and she lifted her head to turn and look at what he was doing. Once she figured it out she gave a soft smile and attempted to lay back down. Of course that was when he asked her if she was still wearing her boots. The shifter practically deflated with a groan. "Yeah..." As she said it she moved the blanket off herself but left it on him so that she could sit up and remove them.

Since hers came up so high it took her a couple of minutes. Oddly enough though there was little movement to disturb him as she did. Rajani placed them on the floor next to the bed so that they weren't just tossed down then moved to lay back down.

This time, since Hargitt was being nice enough to move his arm, she tamed her hair a bit before laying down so that it didn't bother him. He was still her pillow, as payment for ripping hers, but she was nicer about putting her weight on him gently. She gave a yawn as she covered herself back up. For a moment she thought about nagging him again but the sound of his heartbeat was more than enough to pull her into sleep quickly.

Hargitt gave a half-hearted 'hmm' before cracking an eye open to watch her. He'd only thought to ask about it because he'd taken his own off not a few moments earlier. Well worn clothing he could overlook, but not only were footwear filthy in general they weren't the most comfortable to sleep in. Given how high her boots came the likelihood of them constricting movement in her knees and calves was high, meaning she would have been more likely to toss around. So, in keeping his bed clean, Hargitt was also making sure she was at least semi-comfortable.

He drifted off after that. There was an odd comfort in having someone so close, so at ease, around him after everything he'd gone through. Under normal circumstances he may have asked her to leave or at the very least got up himself, but the effects of a hangover were a funny thing. It pulled him back into a deep, thick sleep that carried on well into mid-morning. He may have slept longer were it not for the sounds of children running down the hall, laughing and shouting without a care in the world. Hargitt was vaguely aware of someone shushing them, possibly a parent or an older sibling, and he did try to go back to sleep after that.

Amazingly Rajani slept well even with her odd fear of others. Hargitt's worry about her tossing and turning was unwarranted as the only movement she'd managed to do was to curl an arm over him like someone would to hug their pillow close.

What woke him also pulled her out of her slumber and the shifter bent her arm so that she could cover her ear. It was almost like she refused to wake up. She made a face of reluctance then opened her eyes a bit. "Who lets children play around where people sleep?" She asked sleepily before yawning. Knowing she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep she moved as gently as she could to sit up without disturbing her 'pillow.' Once sitting up she stretched her arms out and leaned from one side to the other. "Mmm.." When her arms came back she let them drop into her lap as she checked the time of day. She wasn't needed anywhere until evening.

Rajani sighed and reached up to run a hand through her hair, forcing the silver mess back. "I need to wash.. ehhh.. if they don't fill it too much it should be fine.." Her and water didn't get along so well either though. A thought struck her and she glanced back over her shoulder at Hargitt with a curious look before she shook her head. "No.. bad idea."

Hargitt let out a breathless chuckle. "You can't just tell children not to play." How many mornings had he been woken up with little hands pulling at his arm, or worse, little feet jumping on top of him? You could scold them, snap and threaten, but at the end of the day children were going to do whatever they pleased.

He kept his eyes closed, hoping against hope that he would be able to fall back asleep but when it didn't seem to work Hargitt slowly opened them. The huntsman was just groggy enough to see the world in a sort of haze, but lucid enough to furrow his brow at Rajani. "Mm? What?" He murmured. Hargitt leaned his head to the side and stretched his shoulder, raising his midsection up off the mattress just long enough to work out some of the kinks.

Rajani had never been one to like children. Mostly because they were clingy and she dislike being touched unless it was on her terms. "Yes I can." She could very well tell a child not to play, it just might not work so well. At the very least one could tell the kids not to play in the hall linked to sleeping quarters.

She noticed him moving his arm and felt a little bad for using him as a pillow. She wasn't exactly a twig. When he said something her eyes moved up from his shoulder to his face. "I had a thought but it likely won't work." She answered before she shifted so that she could sit turned to the side and better able to look at him without breaking her neck. "Usually a family friend helps me wash my hair.. I'm afraid of water being near my head." She had her reasons. If Hargitt really wanted to know then she'd tell him but if he didn't then she would leave it at that. "I thought about asking for your help but that might not be such a good idea." What if he thought it funny to pour water on her face? Or worse, dunk her head into the water completely? The shifter turned a bit pale at the thought and gave an involuntary shiver.
