Nindo: Yet to be discovered Personality: Curious and Naïve. Saki has spent most of her life so far isolated and as such hasn’t learnt the fine art of social interaction, she can come across incredibly blunt and quite awkward. This has led to great difficulty making friends. A strong sense of respect of her elders and particularly her teachers has been instilled in Saki. She knows that’s not the way “friends” interact with each other but as she doesn’t really know much else, she can default to the state of obedient student if she feels out of her depth. She can be very hard to get a read on as she rarely openly displays her emotions. This along with her tendency to day dream can make her come off as rather aloof. Despite being untested in combat Saki is unflinching in regards to martial practices, due to her uncle’s training she is confident in her abilities. One of the easiest way to get her to come out of her shell is through training or physical competition.

Biography: Like many born into the violent world of the Shinobi, Saki was orphaned at a young age. Her parents dying on a mission no one speaks of. Saki was taken in by her uncle, a swordsman of some renown long since retired from service. Disagreeing with the path his village was taking he chose to train Saki in his own manner, forbidding her from joining the academy. However, the forbidden is often tempting and Saki has had an interest in the ways of the Shinobi for as long as he can remember, determined to follow in her parent’s footsteps.
Saki was a small child but what she lacked in strength she made up for in agility and as her uncle soon discovered she was ambidextrous. This led to her uncle training her in a dual sword style and affectionately dubbing her “Two hands”. Most of her youth was spent in isolated, intense training and while devoted to her martial learnings Saki longed for the freedom to just be a kid. A freedom she was denied for as long as her uncle had control of her. Eventually her uncle was forced to acknowledge she was growing into her own person and felt he had no choice but to let her find her own path. Saki joined the academy, finally following in her parent’s footsteps. However, her isolation and age promised a rocky start on her road to becoming a shinobi.

First Class: Bukijutsu ▱▰▱ Mystic Hero → The user has become adept at blending their ninjutsu and bukijutsu. The user is able to cast ninjutsu from their weapon without the use of hand signs by making any flourish or deliberate movement to cast the technique in the direction the weapon is commanded. This requires the same amount of time as the forming of hand signs to cast ninjutsu. They are also able to Korabo 1 ninjutsu and 1 bukijutsu together with varying cool downs for a single action. E-D - 0 C-B - 1 A-S - 2 S+ - 3 Second Class: Bukijutsu ▱▰▱ Expert → The user has achieved a sense of mastery and focus unlike others and are known as an Expert, a dedicated focus over a weapon they use to near perfection. The shinobi can pick a single weapon, or two if dual wielding, to apply this focus toward with examples such as Katana, Spear, Bows or even Dual Daggers. They acquire a Keystone technique that is unique to them with an additional 2 Custom Techniques derived of this special ability. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information. They gain a [+1] boost to both speed and agility & techniques cost [5] less Chakra and/or Stamina per rank of the technique when wielding attacks with their specialized weapon in attack or defence. With a minimum of 5 chakra or stamina paid. ▱▰▱ Cross Class or Specialization: → Bukijutsu – Bukijutsu: Dedicated Disciple: A disciple who chooses to specialize in a small number of their class's arts. Limiting themselves to three of their class's styles, granting overwhelming in all three styles up to S Rank. Any additional slots that would be awarded for their class's styles are converted into a 2 point increase in any stats of their choosing. In addition, these masters of their arts are able to have a 1 point increase to their 8 point stat cap making it 9. Styles granted from rewards may be learned but do not carry the overwhelming property and the user is capped out at 5 styles.

Nindo: Personality: Tomo has always been a troublemaker, always doing his own thing regardless of what anyone tells him to do. He seems to have taken on the nature of a lazy, mischievous cat. Not one to take anything seriously he takes great pleasure in winding up those that do. He would prefer to spend his time lazing about, drinking and getting up to no good rather than doing his part for their new home. Despite his nature and the fact he often goes out of his way to give his siblings a hard time he is fiercely protective of them, especially his younger siblings. He’s allowed to pick on them but anyone else that tries? They have another thing coming.

Biography: The Nekonokami family was forced to flee their homeland due to war when Tomo was only a year old. As such he doesn’t remember his home nor the conflict that tore it apart. Instead, his earliest memories are of the life of a nomad, his family trying to survive and forever moving from place to place. He doesn’t feel particularly attached to his family’s cause or their lost homeland. Growing up his closest friend was his cousin Suzunya, he was often dragging the poor kid into all sorts of trouble. Eventually Suzunya’s family split from the group and he hasn’t seen his friend since. Tomo took the separation particularly hard and tends to avoid forming real connections with anyone ever since.
When the triplets decided to settle the family in Arashigakure he was against the idea, preferring life on the road. Still, he relented to the wisdom of his eldest siblings and came along for the ride, if for no other reason than to keep an eye on his family.

First Class: Taijutsu ▱▰▱ Battlefield Presence → The user's powerful presence on the battlefield strikes terror into their foes. Opponents are able to sense the user's terrifying fighting spirit five feet from the user per body rank of the user through chakra sense. Those within range can have this radiating fearful aura become the trigger for genjutsu, allowing genjutsu to be cast by acknowledging the user. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no action for that specific instance of kai. Second Class: Genjutsu ▱▰▱ Master of Deception → With genjutsu, realism and the sensory ability of the target factor heavily into the ability of the victim to realize they are in a genjutsu. The illusionist chooses [1] Sense of Specialization that will render a genjutsu cost [1] rank less if the casted genjutsu's primary sense is their specialization. Genjutsu that use the illusionist's Sense of Specialization as the primary sense become resistant to the sensory powers of sages and non-Infinite Perception discipline scholars. This resistance means that the genjutsu will go unnoticed from these abilities. Since the illusionist has become so adept in their Sense of Specialization they may always weave it into genjutsu as an Additional Sense unless it would bring the illusion's sensory control above the [5] limit. The illusionist may also always select any Additional Sense that is not their Sense of Specialization to add to a genjutsu as long as it does not exceed the cap of [5] manipulated senses.
Sense of Specialization: Sight
▱▰▱ Cross Class or Specialization: → Taijutsu – Genjutsu: Can choose to use the kai technique to release genjutsu with stamina instead of chakra at one rank higher. In addition, the user may pay the cost of a genjutsu at any time without casting it upon the opponent. The technique cast has a trigger of physical contact with the user applied. When contact with the user is made, the target will fall under the effects of the genjutsu. This is limited to two genjutsu simultaneously and genjutsu cannot be retained after combat ends.

Strengths: • Tomo is incredibly easy going and quite difficult to get flustered. • Seasoned drinker, don’t challenge him to a drinking contest. Weaknesses: • Incredibly lazy. • Rarely takes anything seriously including fights, easy to take advantage of in the opening of a battle. Fears: • Drowning. • Losing the rest of his family to another war.
Modifiers: ▰▰▰ Clan Traits: • All Members of The Kemono Shinzō may speak with their own species in its native tongue • Kemono Shinzō may summon as if they were one body rank higher than they are. • Kemono Shinzō can have a physical appearance ranging anywhere from a Kemonomimi (Human with Animal Ears and Tail typically.) to an Anthromorph (Animal with Human-Like Body.) • Kemono Shinzō bloodline techniques naturally do not require hand seals as they are meant to be capable of being used regardless of the form the clan member is in. • Kemono Shinzō gain 5 free custom techniques which they can only use to make techniques based on their animal species abilities. Examples of this are a spider having web based customs, snakes with poison based customs, etc etc. These customs are considered bloodline techniques. If an animal doesn't have a particularly unique ability, these customs are simply considered 5 custom bloodline techniques. • Switching between forms requires one activation in combat unless otherwise stated. • When a Kemono Shinzō switches forms it is capable of functioning as a form of Kai so long as the user pays the proper cost of kai. Doing this does not consume an action but only once per battle.
Personal Attributes: ▱▰▱ We're all Different | The clan member begins with a summoning contract on any species that they wish. Additionally, get a +1 to stat boost for each kemono, pet, or summon you have on the battlefield up to 6. ▱▰▱ Unleash the Beast | While in Human Form the clan member is capable of using jutsu via animalistic vocalizations such as roaring or hissing. While in Animal Form the clan member is capable of wielding weapons in order to utilize bukijutsu, or using their natural weaponry such as claws, horns, tails to utilize bukijutsu within reason. ▱▰▱ Master Shifter l The clan member is capable of changing forms once every 3 posts without using an activation. Their Half-Animal Form and Ancestral Form's cost per post is reduced by one rank. ▱▰▱ Sober Fist | Tomo is practiced enough in being a drunk that he can mimic the movements of drunken fist even when sober. No longer needs to be drunk to use Drunken Fist.

Nindo: Personality: Mako is every bit the stereotypical brutish Oni, to the extreme in fact. She puts in effort to come across as a brutal thug, taking great pride in her reputation as someone not to mess with. Short tempered, stubborn to a fault and painfully blunt Mako can be a real pain to deal with. Years of abuse and being used as a weapon by a gang has not only hardened the girl but awakened her to the joy of inflicting pain on others. One thing is for sure when dealing with Mako, you’re walking away with a headache one way or another.

Biography: Exactly where Mako originates from is a mystery even to her. The first thing she can remember is life on the streets of the cistern sector, one of countless orphans struggling to survive in that miserable place. Mako however had one thing many of those other orphans didn’t, her Oni heritage. She was bigger and tougher than all the other children, able to protect what little she could call hers. This naturally landed her on the wrong side of the criminal underbelly. Refusing to be pushed around by a particularly nasty street gang led to a violent confrontation in which neither side truly won. Surprised at how resilient the young Oni was and in an effort to safe face the gang took Mako in.
Life in the gang was little better than on the street. They treated Mako like a rabid animal to be let off the chain to kill. With her life revolving almost purely around violence it was no wonder she came to revel in it. What choice did she have? after all it was either that or let it break her, in a way it was a coping mechanism. She never saw it as anything unusual anyway, it was all she had known her entire life. Kindness, comfort and family were utterly foreign concepts to her.
This violent existence continued on with no end other than her untimely demise in sight. Until one day the gang drew the wrong kind of attention. A police crackdown led to a bloody confrontation that saw most of her gang dead or in custody. Mako fought viciously, knowing defeat would mean her doom, the law in Amegakure had a habit of making problematic individuals disappear. Ultimately, she was defeated, however she must have made an impression on someone. It was decided she had potential to serve the village and was still young enough to be re-educated into loyalty in a more natural way than the shadowy methods of KASA.
While she wasn’t happy with the prospect of being sent to the academy, especially considering she was unusually old for a student, she knew she had little choice. If nothing else it promised her a future doing what she did best, destroying her enemies.
▰▰▰ CLASSES AND STATS
First Class: Bukijutsu ▱▰▱ Juggernaut → The user suffers no restrictions of movement or drawbacks from any armor tier they wear and it requires no slot consumption from the Inventory System. In addition, armor they are actively wearing are increased by two ranks in durability and techniques that are increased in effectiveness against armor do not gain that bonus against the user. The user gains a [+1] stats boost to strength and endurance. Once every three posts, the user is able to defend an attack without paying an action for the technique, instead spending it upon an offensive action if the user chooses. Second Class: Taijutsu ▱▰▱ Berserker → Your external training and devotion to taijutsu has allowed you to have a [+1] stat increases to Strength and Endurance. Your hardened body naturally is as protective as Heavy Tier armor without its drawbacks. Degradation of the user's natural defenses applies in the same manner as armor. Once depleted, any damage the user takes, no matter the rank of damage applied increases the user's strength and speed by 1 stat point each for two posts up to 9 points. Should the user take additional damage before the end of the second post, the increase stacks, refreshing it's active time. ▱▰▱ Cross Class or Specialization: → Bukijutsu – Taijutsu: All taijutsu and bukijutsu techniques cost five less resources per rank of the technique. Simple techniques of both classes are treated as overwhelming, although it still suffers from the rank deficiencies of those typical interactions. The user gains an additional taijutsu at D, B, and S rank. The user gains an additional bukijutsu at C, A, and S+ Rank. Finally, one taijutsu and one bukijutsu technique can be self-korabo'd to consume only one combat action once per three posts.

Modifiers: • The Oni clan ninjutsu are known as Saketon [ Alcohol. ] • The Oni have an exceptionally high alcohol tolerance. It is extremely difficult for them to become intoxicated via alcohol. Other substances are fair game. • The Oni come in a variety of colors, each signaling their clan of origin. There are as many clans as there are colors, each hailing from their own particular environments. Though originally from the mountains, there are oni of the plains, swamps, jungles... if it's a biome, odds are it has Oni • The Oni have their own language, noted by putting text in <> while speaking. Each tribe's dialect is slightly different, but the root is the same. • Ritual tattooing is common among the tribes, though the practice is mostly kept by those who still reside in the native lands. • Given the competitive nature of the Oni, there is a fierce, but friendly, rivalry between the different clans. • The Oni bear horns which are a source of pride for even the weakest and most frail of the Oni. These horns are most commonly seen in pairs, but cases of one horn to as many as four horns have been recorded. • The horns of an Oni are extremely sharp and stuck on pretty tight, but it is possible to remove them. Even though they will eventually grow back, most oni are very protective of their horns. • Being originally from mountain and volcano environments, the Oni have grown into a tough and resilient people with hides strong enough to brush off jagged rocks and stave off the heat radiated by magma. Note: This does not mean you are lava proof. Hot temperatures just do not bother you. • Each clan has its own specialty brew. Your saketon does not need to take the form of sake. Beer, wine, and liquors of all types are perfectly acceptable. • The user is immune to their own poisons and Tier 1 Poisons of others. • All Oni begin as Veterans in Toxicology. Each Botany or Toxicology mission is treated as two in terms of title advancement. • Sake produced may be held in a flask of some kind but may otherwise simply be generated from the horn of the Oni; the sake appears as their chakra manifestation centered around their horn or horns, and the special chakra can ebb from the horn or horns until a jutsu is used that casts the sake out. This allows Oni to use saketon without needing water or a flask to cast from. • The user receives 100 saketon chakra per body rank (total of 600) separate from their base chakra pool to use for saketon classified bloodline techniques. Saketon is a unique manifestation of chakra. The saketon reserve cannot be increased beyond 1,000. Once every [5] posts the user may transfer a ranked amount of base chakra to the saketon pool. 50 saketon is earned per post. • All variations of sake are augments of sake creation. The oni produce general sake then augment it for attacks allowing them to use multiple variations from one sake creation. Sake augments do not cost saketon resource but sake creation methods do. • Sake augments do not cost an activation but they are paid for from the saketon resource pool. Augment rank does not determine dodge rank (the application does, like whether its solid weapon form or gaseous) but it does determine the rank of kai necessary to be free of the effects. Similarly, the augment rank determines the longevity of effect: E - 1 post, D - 2 posts, C - 3 posts, B - 4 posts, A - 5 posts, S - 6 posts. The augment also relates to the tier of effect inflicted. Tier 1 from ranks E-D, Tier 2 from rank C, Tier 3 Ranks B-A, and Rank 4 for Ranks S and S+. • The Drunken Fist style is always overwhelming when used by an Oni.
Personal Attributes: ▱▰▱ Mountain Clan | Oni are able to korabo suiton and sake techniques without the sake being reduced in strength. These can be korabo'd for one activation every two posts. In this circumstance, sake creation techniques are unnecessary but an augment needs to be paid for to korabo with the suiton technique. The Oni starts with [2] additional taijutsu styles upon creation. ▱▰▱ Clever Brew Master | The Oni receives two additional customs per body rank to produce new brew types. They are able to cast bloodline techniques through somatic movements. Their saketon pool is increased by 100. The Oni receives [1] point of strength and endurance at D-Rank and a second point of strength and endurance at B-Rank. ▱▰▱ Ogrelord | The Oni's saketon pool is increased by 200. Sake used by the Oni remove or restore chakra from the target two ranks below the rank brewed for poisonous or medicinal brews respectively. The Oni restores an additional 50 saketon per post passively. The Oni's stamina is increased by 200 and taijutsu techniques cost 10 stamina less at a minimum of 5. ▱▰▱ PA |
