Throughout November, Glen had been trying, and failing, to find the orange cat, Thierry, and he wasn't sure how. He checked the woods, the alleys, the park, asked Abby when he went to visit her sister, and he had come up with nothing. He didn't really get why the cat was avoiding him, maybe because he didn't want to be taken in? He recalled that Thierry had mentioned, or badly tried to hide, that he was currently with a possibly homeless human that he seemed to feel compelled to take care of, in what may be the same vein of feeling Glen had to take care of the cat, a feeling that was just there, no explanation. No matter, it was long past December, rolling into January and Glen had still not found the cat. It had been another day of looking for him when Glen found something else. He had come upon what Thierry had said was his house (and really, why was there a run down house in the woods? The hell was that?) When he heard a bit of movement, a so far useless heightened sense due to his partial blindness, but it seemed today it was coming in handy. Glen moved as slow as possible, but that didn't seem to matter, as the little white things, rabbits he realized, just came up to him? "Hello there?" He said confused, stroking their fur and almost immediately pulling back, it was so cold! And much colder than even the snowy woods, and last he checked the temperature hadn't been above fifteen degrees today. They didn't seem like they were dangerous though, just...freezing cold, so he decided to let it be, and for the time being chose to leave them alone, heading back out of the small woods connected to the park. As Glen did though, he couldn't help but notice that there were actually a lot of those icy rabbits, and when he said a lot, he meant it. They pranced all around the woods, the park, and near the houses, comfortable as they pleased, he even saw a few kids giving a pair of the rabbits food. He was pretty sure that wouldn't bode well honestly, but would worry about it later, his hands still felt chilled from a combination of the rabbit, the weather and....the month Glen no longer spoke of. He was nearly home when there, on his porch, was the little b*****d who had avoided him for three months, and he was holding one of the rabbits in his mouth, which Glen felt a sudden surge to rescue, even if he didn't really wanna touch them. "Thierry! What the hell!?" He growled out, taking the cat and rabbit in arms and pulling them inside. "Ah, I.....wanted to surprise you?" The cat said, purring, content as most cats are, and the rabbit seemed to be too, as he could feel it squirm in his other arm, trying to get warm, which was odd but understandable. "For three months!?" He set the cat down, but continued to hold the rabbit, hands shaking (from the bone deep cold that never went away now) despite his earlier complaints, and it seemed that made Thierry pout? Interesting... He got out a packet of sun dried tomato tuna for Thierry, and.....lettuce? Yes, he had that in his fridge, and made a little bowl for the rabbit, setting it down to eat. He watched the cats eyes light up, digging in to his food. "Despite everything, I should just let you starve, but I wanna know where the hell you've been so if I have to keep feeding you, then so be it." He watched Thierry finish, clean his face and hop into his lap, the rabbit seeming to follow him and both shivered as it made itself comfortable, shook itself, and hell, was that snowflakes!? And Thierry looked up to Glen's face, unsure how to start.
