Day # 1 Theme: Meet the Artist Time spent: 1h 7m  Comments: Well howdy-do, y'all. My laptop decided to break its display cable, and I don't apparently have the right cables to link it to another monitor. However! I did get an Apple Pencil for Christmas, to go with the iPad I got the year before. So! I've downloaded Ibis Paint and am going to use that for this event, or at least until the laptop gets fixed. So I drew a bad chibi of myself holding an Apple Pencil and crying about it. =_=

Day # 2 Theme: Color Palette Time spent: 54m  Comments: The clothing I draw is usually pretty bland, and I think it's worse than normal due to the tool change! Could just be that I'm limiting myself too much by using color palettes, though. On the bright side, I'm starting to get used to the new setup!

Day # 6 Theme: Healthy Time spent: 49m  Comments: Li'l chibi nurse! I'm slowly figuring out the best coloring method, even if it doesn't look like much. I feel like, if I can get the hair and eyes a bit of color detail, I'm happy. Still can't find an inking pen that varies its thickness as much as my usual Clip pen does, though.

Day # 7 Theme: Tomato Time spent: 43m  Comments: It's been a while since I've tried a realistic/semi-realistic thing. Here's my attempt in Ibis! ^^ Really had to struggle to get to 40 minutes, though. It was basically done at 34 minutes, so I had to keep adding on stuff, like the dots you see on it.

Day # 8 Theme: Spirit Challenge Part One - Dress Up! Time spent: 1h 5m  Comments: My first "big" OC, Kira! She's the leader of a group of five girls who have been given the powers to manipulate elements. Kira's element is earth, and her clothing should reflect that. She often wears loose, flowy clothes that are somewhat hippie-like. Earth tones are the most prevalent color palette -- if a leaf could be that color, it's probably in her wardrobe.

Day # 10 Theme: Finish/Improve Time spent: Uhhh... Ibis says 4h 1m, but a lot of it was just idling? Probably closer to 3h.  Comments: I'm feeling way better with the Apple Pencil than before, so here's an improved chibi-me, but with a smile!

Day # 11 Theme: Lemon Time spent: 2h 5m  Comments: Waaaaay back in 2009, I drew a pair of girls based on a lemon and a lime. This is a redesign/reinterpretation of the Lemon girl! She's in flat color only, and her coloration probably differs a lot from the old piece (among everything else, LOL). I didn't use the old one for reference except to glance at it once, because having old art staring at me as I try to redraw it tends to hinder my ability for some reason.
