XXXXXKasumi had been travelling around the streets of Kirigakure in pursuit of a spy from one of the other villages, a mission that she was personally for by the Mizukag. A member of the Seven Ninja Swordsman, the wielder of the Nuibari blade as well as her skills in intel gathering, counterintelligence and assassination she was the perfect fit to find the spy, learn what they know then using one of her clans Kekkei Genkai, a well-kept secret that only members of her clan and the reigning Mizukage knew of, replace their memories with false ones or eliminate them if she deems there is no other way to keep the village safe.
The moon was just about to reach the highest point in the sky by the time Kasumi had finally caught up to the spy's trail, the fact it had taken her this long meant that whoever this was, knew just what they were doing and how to avoid being tracked but the young jonin knew the village like the back of her hand due to her clan's insistence on learning everything about it, she knew every dark corner one could use to avoid being seen, where to hide when you were being chased so no matter how good this person was, they were no match for Kasumi in her own village.
The blonde-haired girl began to close the distance rapidly between her and her target now that she was on his trail, it took only a couple minutes for her to find the spy. Instead of going straight for the attack Kasumi instead decided that in order to get the information out of the spy, some preparation was required and performed multiple seals with one hand in rapid succession, her other hand already drawing the Nuibari blade "Concealment Release: Soundproof" The first of her clans Kekkei Genkai, once the seal was finished all sound coming from Kasumi was dampened to the point of no longer being audible, it was this technique that made her so deadly in assassination taking the silent killing technique to new heights "Water Release: Hiding in Mist" The second seal was a speciality of the Kiri-nin and often used by the young jonin, by utilizing the mist that was already in the air around Kirigakure and her own chakra, Kasumi began to thicken the fog in the area making it difficult to see past arm's length "Concealment Release: Misty Moonlit Night" The second of her clans Kekkei Genkai and the most useful for times like this. Misty Moonlit Night masked the user's presence to any who would look in their direction by causing those looking at them to be unable to focus on any specific aspect as though they shouldn't be looking, when they look away the only thing they remember is brief details as though they only saw them in their peripheral vision.
With the first step of preparation finish, the young woman moved in swiftly and began to utilize the razor-sharp wire of the Nuibari blade to trap the spy in a small area preventing their escape as they finally make their move on the spy, closing the distance and pressing the tip of the blade against the back of their neck, using her knowledge of silent killing to force the spy into an inescapable situation "Make any sudden moves and you will no longer have that privilege, I will sever your spinal cord without hesitation" the tone of her voice made it clear that she wasn't lying "Now...why don't you tell me what village you're from and exactly why you're here...or would you prefer I take that information by force?"
