Kiyelt 1
He strode out over the wet sand, he could see his wife in the distance, flowing through set movements standing in the water. She had once told him that she made the forms when she was small and alone. Being with the ocean always made her feel better.
It was his favorite time of day, very early morning when the tide had just rushed out, there were small shells scattered over the wet sand. Crabs were scurrying about between burrows and clams were shooting water at him when they felt he got too close. The beaches of Matori were so full of life.

Ninaeleth 1
Nin was fully connecting with the ocean, unaware of anything else except for the safe and balanced feeling that she had. She moved along with the waves, becoming one with her ancestral element. This was part of what gave her the strength to be a beast doctor. Not only did you have to work under the same pressure as a real doctor, you had to also wrangle patients that may way four times or more what you did.
The salt air carried news, she could smell...hmm Kiyelt. She smiled. So he had finally come out had he? No doubt after all the chores had been completed.

Slowly he set out into the water, the sand was formed in ripples before him, overlaid with dapples of sun. It was a beautiful place but while he saw that beauty he was captivated by the woman before him. She was as much a part of this place as he had become a part of Oba his adopted homeland.
He had spent his childhood in Zena but had never felt that deep of attachment to the cold land, the people and the culture yes but he was not a fan of constant snow, it made chasing animals harder than it needed to be and made tracking too easy. He prefered it when the land was thawed.
He went slow enough that he thought there was no way she wouldn't notice him as she turned and continued to dance. Eventually he folded his arms around him.

She eventually became aware of his presence but she was so entwined with nature that it didn't scare her. His arms wrapping around her was like the completion of a dance that he had just entered, she smiled.
"Kiyelt, I have been thinking..." she faced him seriously, then randomly booped him on the nose with her finger.
Her eyes sparkled with laughter at the look on his face.

"Oh really? About what?" hey had started to walk out of the water, her dance evidently finished he felt it was okay to scoop her up into his arms, all romantical like.
He bent his head down and tried to tickle her with his beard, "What were you thinking about Queen Nin, please tell your humble servant..." he devolved into gibberish while trying to get at her face.
Well he was definitely having fun with this.

She squealed and giggled and whined to no avail and there was no where to run to because if he dropped her it would be a quick splash right into the water. Oh the indignity!
He was also tickling her at the same time, she didnt' know how he did it but he did. Ahhhhhh!
"Stahp, stahp! I can't breath!" Her hair was a mass of friz now against her head and she fake glared up at the culprit.
"As I was saying," glare, " Our kids are getting older and well I don't want to be lonely when they decide to go off on whatever quest comes into their collective heads. So do you want to have more kids? Now?"

Kiyelt stopped and let her slide down his front, his hair, loose for once drapped over his eyes so the only thing visible was his brilliant smile. His feet were sinking slowly in the sand but he didn't care.
"Of course Nin, did you really have to ask?" He couldn't stop smiling, he was sure he looked like a happy maniac.
More children! The gods really did bless him.

She smiled back at him and puckered her lips for a kiss. Closing her eyes she waited patiently.
This was one of her favorite parts of being married, because he always kissed her when she made this face and it always warmed her heart, he was such a wonderful being bringing light to anything he touched. She truly did love him. He was unique and she considered herself very lucky to have him.

He obliged her and kissed her well before taking her hand to walk the rest of the way to shore.
"So what is my prize for rescuing such a fair mermaid?" he waggled his brows at her and leered pointedly.
He put his hands on his hips and looked at her expectantly.
"What say you mermaid?"

"Isn't it a little counter intuitive to drop your mermaid off on land when if I were a mermaid I would likely need water to breath. Is it really saving?" She arched her eyebrows at him, putting her own hands on her hips. Raising his kids had taught her she was the scariest thing in the house. He knew it too!
Her orange eyes blazed. Then she made a fishy face at him by squishing her lips together.

He couldn't help himself, he laughed so hard he nearly fell over. She had truly surprised him there, combining the mom glare with the fishy face.
"You got me there love, I couldn't stand to leave you to the sea. It would be awfuly lonely in there just as it was lonely for me on the land alone, care to be my fishwife?"
He made fishy lips back at her. He was soooo happy his kids didn't see them do this. They were just big children themselves but the kids could never know!

"Oh well, can't have you be lonely can we?" She held out her hand for a pull up.
"So does this mean we get a date night?" Her face lit up because both of them were rather good at romance when they tried and it had been so long.
"Dad could look after the hoard and we could have a second honeymoon? Since we don't have time for romance when kids come, though I wager its easier when you just have one or two."

"Well I suppose, since you look so excited that we can have a date night, I will even cook how is that? Maybe your Dad could take them for a week and we could really get a relax in, I think we deserve it, its not like they are super young anymore anyway, Isolder can still take it." Kiyelt's eyes sparkled. Having that time with Nin would be a great gift one they could both fully enjoy.

She was already going over ideas in her head. "Fine, as long as I get to decorate," she giggled. He was in for it, she was going to go all out for this celebration for what could one celebrate more than having children.
"I love you Kiyelt and I am so glad that out of all the woman you chose me."
She was a lucky girl. Not everyone got someone so muscley, smart and awkwardly charming wrapped in a very capable man who loved like he tamed; wildly and intuitively.

"Agreed!" She always made whatever she touched quite magical. He didn't have much of a decorators soul, though he did okay with Oban pillows. The kids liked to play on them anyway.
They reminded him of the desert so he loved them. But besides pillows he was not a master decorator like Nin. Something to do with her being female and more inclined toward those things.
She exercized every morning to keep her shape trim and fit, but she sure liked to collapse on those pillows after.
