Quote: Prompt 1: Destiny City has its fair share of infestations--rats, youma, seasonal monsters...There's no shortage of unpleasantries. But, for the first time in a while, there's a pleasant sort of infestation: along with the winter chill and a steady stream of snow, it seems like a herd of small, fluffy white rabbits have overrun the city. They aren't menacing or evil, they're just everywhere. They seem strangely domesticated; they are sweet, curious, and friendly creatures that will eat anything you give them. They always seem cold to the touch, and when they shake, little snowflakes sprinkle off of them. They can show up just about anywhere, either alone or--often--in pairs. They tend to wander off on their own but they seem to appreciate anything warm and will cuddle up to steal body heat. Clue moved the scarf around his neck upwards a bit so that it was back into the position it was supposed to be, at least for a little bit. Once again winter had come and while it was a bit more enjoyable this time, it still meant that the cold had come back. And this time with some strangeness. He and New had noticed the bunnies at first while they were walking. They hadn't gotten to close to them, but ever since then it seemed as though they had taken over the city. He could barely go outside without almost literally stepping on one. An exaggeration, but he swore he saw more rabbits in the past week than he had in his entire life. He still wasn't quite used to them, and they appeared to be a bit supernatural, but he hadn't given them much thought either. It wasn't until tonight when he rounded another corner of the park, trying to get some exercise in without being near too many people, and he saw some commotion happening where the bunnies were. It wasn't until he moved closer that he saw... a cat chasing after them? Not a surprise, but this cat looked like the ones he had seen while he was stuck with New in that weird village with that monster. Which meant... "Hey you!" He called out, hoping that the cat would be willing to talk to him.

Katya had heard about the rabbits, from Alexander who had landed in a rabbit hole the previous day. It was also all over the local news, no surprise there, and from past experiences Katya knew the rabbits were more trouble than you'd figure.
They weren't going to eat a person alive....or drain them of energy, unless they'd learned some new tricks, but the last time they'd left people really cold for a good bit of time. They weren't the most dangerous of things, for Alexandre that was the massive spiders from years back, but they weren't innocent rabbits either.
That was why she'd gone out tonight to track some down and see if she couldn't capture one and have someone, anyone, test it to see just what they were doing in the city and perhaps where they were coming from! But she was interupted by a voice, just as she'd been about the grab one of those furry little bunnies.
Turning around, green eyes focused on the approaching figure, she took a moment as something hit her senses. Ohhh...now this was interesting. She was also sure she was right. Tonight, along the way to the park, she'd run into a certain friend of her General's and seeing as he was here and her General was not....well. It looked like someone else would be joining chaos tonight, she was not one to let a person escape from her, but they wouldn't be joining the Negaverse.
"Remarque." She called out. Even if the person heard her and ran she knew the dark mirror prince would easily get the person and bring them back to her. "It looks like someone has come along who could be of use to you and your court. We can deal with rabbit hunting afterwards." This was, in her opinion, far more important.

"We are not hunting rabbits. You are chasing them. I am sitting here." Or, was; Remarque had been sitting on a bench near to where she was chasing the rabbits, but the shadows and trees had done an expert job of concealing him to their company until he chose to make himself known.
He stood and brushed himself off, partially because that was the proper thing to do when you had a guest, and partially because the bench was cold and he hated it. Hated all of these stupid winter months.
He glanced at Clue and paused; he had seen him before, with Itokawa, while they were trapped in that monster realm. "Oh. Clue."
That explained why he had no issue with walking up to a cat and talking to it.
"What are you doing out here, where's Itokawa?" He glanced at Katya, because he heard what she said.
...He just wanted to make sure she was serious.

Clue jumped a little when he saw the figure stand up. He had missed him and so was surprised when the other was there. "Ah... Remarque right?" New had told Clue about the Dark Mirror Prince. He didn't remember talking to him before, but it appeared that the cat and the Prince knew each other. He felt a bit taken aback at the question though, it felt a bit like the Prince was interrogating him. "Taking a walk. I was supposed to do some shopping but it was too crowded for me to even walk through the store." Which meant that he would have to go at a different time, something he was not looking forward to. "Itokawa is back at our apartment. I can call him if you need him." He said, bringing his cell phone out in case the "Prince" took him up on his offer. He looked back at the cat. "I'm assuming you two know each other... what do you mean of use?" He was interested. If he could help Itokawa in any way he could... perhaps they meant as some sort of civilian spy or something?

"I'm not chasing them - I'm trying to capture one. I want to know about them, you know as well as I do how the holidays have gone in this city. It's dangerous and these rabbits last time they appeared were not so friendly to people." She stated, her nose as up in the air as it could be. "And this one here...how do you know him Remarque?" She questioned, as it seemed very much like the prince knew this person...or someone close to them.
"Ahhh, I see. You live with a dark mirror senshi." That was good, someone to help guide him, along with Remarque. Unlike the white moon, where new senshi were trained poorly, the dark side did not lack for training. They kept their own safe and this one would be kept safe and be trained.
"My General is friends with Remarque. While I am not needed to awaken a dark mirror senshi I can still point out a potential senshi, same thing I do for the Negaverse. In this case though Remarque is here and you live with a dark mirror senshi already. I'll let Remarque awaken you rather than disturb my General." So he would not corrupt to the Negaverse, at least he would still serve chaos.
"Would you like that? To be a dark mirror senshi as well?" Tail curling as she approached the figure and went to press against his legs. "Remarque can awaken you easily."

Remarque wasn't used to giving them a choice--not in such a black and white way, at least. He was used to speaking in riddles to make sure that if things went wrong, he didn't wind up with a loose, vengeful civilian who wanted to spread all of their secrets to the world. While most civilians were still in the dark about all of this, he supposed Clue had more knowledge than most. He was dating Itokawa, who had already told him that he'd been honest about things. On top of that, Clue had already had at least one taste of this war, albeit abstract as it was.
Being abducted into some deranged realm where a monster tried to hunt you down wasn't really standard for most civilians either, so Clue seemed to have a few up on them.
Maybe, being so straight forward, wouldn't be so bad in this situation. It was probably even more fair to him, given that they not only had a shared experience, but the common connection of Itokawa made Remarque a bit more keen to do this the right way.
Not that he had ever gotten sloppy with something as important as bringing in a new member to the Court, and not that he ever planned to.
He tapped his finger thoughtfully on the back of the bench as he remained seated, sizing up Clue, and this whole situation.
Having Itokawa here would give Clue the reassurance he needed that this was the right choice, but then it always risked him trying to come up with some reason not to bring him into the Court. Too dangerous, too hectic, to uncertain.
Remarque could think of them all, and honestly, he wasn't sure he wanted to hear them. This decision was Clue's to make, regardless of what Itokawa's thoughts on it might have been.
"I wouldn't bother Itokawa, not unless you want him here. But," he had his attention on Clue.
"It sounds like she says you've got the potential to be a Dark Mirror Senshi. Do you want the power to help keep Itokawa safe, to be in this with him? To help fight off the next monster you two get trapped with?"

"General?" Clue wasn't sure who that may have been, but he thought that he may have heard something about a Negaverse and Agents. They didn't appear to be a part of the Dark Mirror, but it seemed that if Remarque and this... cat knew each other and were friendly with each other that they may be on the same team. He looked between the cat and Remarque. "I can't say no to being a Dark Mirror Senshi. I'm just not sure if N-I mean Itokawa would like it." But he was sure that being just a civilian would cause the other to worry more than he would if Clue was a Dark Mirror. He turned to Remarque. "I'll follow you. I'm not sure how Itokawa will react, but now that I've been thrown into all of this, through no fault of anyone here, I can't go around and just be an ordinary person anymore. I'd rather be able to do something about all of this rather than just hoping that I don't get hurt." Even if it caused New to break up with him, he really couldn't go back now, unless his memory was wiped somehow. "Thank you uh, Miss." He said, turning to Katya and giving her a nod. "I appreciate you noticing my potential and pointing it out to Remarque." He then turned back to Remaruqe. "I head I have to go through some sort of mirror, right?" Sounded right. After all, to become a Dark Mirror Senshi, a mirror seemed to need to be involved somehow.

"Yes, my General. He has served in this war for many years and has seen many things. Perhaps, at some point you two can meet. He is on good terms with the dark mirror court and holds no ill feelings towards it's members." He had never raised a hand, or a weapon of any sort, to the court and it's members. She knew, like he did, that the truce and alliance between the two factions had ended long ago but he held to it - they all served chaos just in different forms. She would hold the line as well.
"I'm sure your partner would like it. It would help in making you both safer. This city is not a safe place to be without magic." Even if it was in small forms, such as her own.
"You can call me Katya. I'm a Mauvian who serves the Negaverse. The other side - the white moon...they have Mauvians also." The dark mirror however had none. Maybe one day a cat would serve them as well.
"I'm glad I can help in pointing out your potential. And now we shall bring out that potential." Turning her eyes onto the prince, though he certainly didn't look like a prince, and nodded her little head. "Let's give him some power and safety. It's about time with this one."

Remarque considered this for a second, but raised an eye at the cat. Let’s, she said, like he wasn’t the one who had to do all the work, now. To Clue, he said, “Itokawa is going to worry about you whether you accept this or not. At the very least, you’ll be a little safer. Especially with him looking after you and you being able to give him the support he needs to back him up.”
And so, Remarque shifted; he went from the Eternal Dark Mirror Senshi he usually walked around as, just to keep his presence low, to the become the Prince they needed.
He smoothed himself out and said, “Two ways to do this. The first, I take you both for a trip to Mirrorspace. The second,” he waved his hand and a beautiful, full-sized mirror appeared next to him, “You take a quick trip on your own, Clue. Either way, you’re going to walk through a mirror. And, it’ll be fast, and dark, but if you’re a Senshi? By the time you step out, you’ll be a member of our Court. One of us.”
