Everything seemed like it was going to heck. Qingcheng didn’t know what he could even do anymore to fix things. He was still so...so glad that he had the excuse of finals to spend time out of the house. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to be there. That he didn’t want to comfort Priam...but he didn’t know how. He didn’t know how, and felt so at a loss to do anything.
Going out. Going out to look for that skunk. To look for Parisite. If he could bring that Captain to justice...if he could accomplish something...then maybe he would be useful...and all of this insanity could just stop.
But.
He was getting tired. His anxiety was growing daily, and he was at an utter loss of how to fix it...a trip to the campus therapists seemed in order but...he didn’t know how to articulate what was bothering him...and that…
Was even more frustrating.
Qingcheng was distracted, lost in his thoughts, and when he felt the brightness of another squire nearby, he didn’t think anything of it, not until he tripped over a large rock in the park, falling flat on his face in front of the other Squire, his glasses flying off his face.
...Maybe. He would invest in a chain for them. If they were broken again…
Yu would have a fit.
“...Ow.”

When Ogygia had decided to go sit in the park, she really hadn't expected to feel another knight's aura so close. She'd simply been sitting on one of the low branches of a huge tree, minding her own business when another knight had appeared out of what seemed like thin air and faceplanted only a few feet from her perch.
"Um..."
Staring for a moment at the knight, she slid from her perch and hurried over. The guy's uniform didn't exactly scream, 'Yay I can walk in this!' Kneeling down, she reached out a hand and offered a bewildred smile.
"Can... can I help you? Are you okay? Anything busted?"
With luck, he'd only have had the wind knocked out of him.

Qingcheng gave a soft sigh and began reaching around for his glasses, moving up to his knees, unhappy that he had an audience for his ah. Coordinated graceful entrance. “I’m okay...do you...see glasses? They seem to have fallen off again...ah. I would really appreciate it if we could find them before I step on them, or something worse. I’ve already broken about three pairs since becoming...I mean. Since powering up.”
She didn’t need to know his life story.
Squinting up at the girl, he saw white, which..he knew from her aura that she was on his side of things, and bright green at what he assumed was her head. Hair, obviously. “Thank you for your concern. I’m Qingcheng, Squire of Cosmos, and I promise...I’m not always so clumsy. Just...sometimes, or in fights.”

Glasses, huh? And they'd already been broken multiple times? That... didn't exactly bode well for this new knight's survivial odds.
"I don't see anything yet," she said, moving more carefully. "You sit there and don't move. Let me find them."
Pacing carefully around, she kept her eyes open for any glints or shines that could signify glass. And, after a few moments, she thought she'd spotted them.
"Well, Qingcheng, I'm Ogygia and you kind of sent your glasses flying when you fell. I think I've got them. I mean, how many people could have possibly lost glasses in this spot? Just sit tight and I'll bring them over."
Taking a bit of her tunic, she cleaned the glasses as best she could before sliding them back onto her fellow squire's face.
"There we go," she said merrily.. "All better!"

He blinked up at her and gave a smile as she finally came into focus. “Ah! That’s much better, yes.” Qingcheng grinned at the other squire and took a moment to make sure that the glasses weren’t broken…again.
“I really wish I didn't...hate contacts so much...it would make this so much easier...I feel like such a liability with the glasses...and the worst thing is...one of my boyfriends has the same issue...so when we’re patrolling together..goodness we’re a mess.”
The squire gave a little laugh and nodded. “It’s very nice to meet you, Ogygia. Thank you for your help in finding them. I’m really not normally this...clumsy but.” He made his way to his feet and gestured to his long robes. “...Sometimes I don’t have much of a choice. Are you on a patrol? Would you like company?” He would never say no to finding a new friend. Especially one who had helped reunite him with his eyes.
Well, in a manner of speaking.
