[Backlogged Summer 2020] Some time had passed since the early-summer drama, and it seemed as the days grew warmer perhaps so did Wyatt's own demeanor, if only a little. At least, things were coming along without devolving in to a melodrama. Wyatt had helped to figure out logistics and floor-plan the improvements to the tower, having to hard-veto a thing or two for the sake of logistics and cost - Water pumps and plumbing in general were expensive as ******** - but he finally had something, a plan of action and budget in place. That meant today leaving his truck in Lukas' hands. Which also meant Lukas had to drop him off, and now pick him up, from work. The place was a modest enough hotel. Nothing too upscale, but certainly not something people were only going to be paying by the hour for. Wyatt's shift was due to end soon. The silvery-haired man confirmed this with a glance at the clock. Things were usually pretty dead at this hour. His shifts started with the usual check-in times began, and now it was usually just the odd visitor coming down for concessions every now and again, or to ask if the pool was still open at this hour. It was quiet inside. Outside however..... Something stirred. But of course, that was par for the course in Destiny City.

There were moments where Lukas kinda felt regret over having rage-sold his camper and truck in favor or a motorcycle. It made moving things up and down the mountain so much easier, and carried more than two people comfortably. But tonight wasn't one of those nights. In fact, he was more than happy to have sold off the thing, as it meant that during the day, he could use Wyatt's truck for labor reasons, then during the early morning hours, he would drive down back down into the city and wait. Just wait. Maybe browse his phone, or read something... Or even just doze off in the parking lot of the Hotel when the bed of the truck was empty and the night was nice. Like tonight of all nights! He was somewhere between a wandering thought and actual dream when he heard a strange, growling sound. At first he simply ignored it. No reason to interfere with something that was pretty standard given the city in general... But as it grew louder and louder, and the sound of scratching claws hitting payment inched closer, there was no denying whatever it was. "Alright, alright, whatcha want, lil' critter?" Lukas yawned, sitting up to peek over the edge. Whatever it was seemed to hover just outside of the range of clarity, and only glowing, purple eyes seemed visible in the dark. "Now that... That just ain't normal.. Go on, get! Shoo! I ain't got time fer---" He was immediately cut off but the youma charging forward at the truck, slamming it's body against the side! Lukas tumbled down into the truck bed again with a shout! "What the hell?!" Half way through scrambling up to his feet, his hand brushed against something that wasn't the scratchy pillow and blanket he brought with him. It was a long silk like item.... Strangely enough, he had never seen it, but had also known it for all his life. He knew it was his but where it came from, like hell he knew. And something muttered inside of his head. A name... Something.... The youma slammed against the truck again, and he rolled his eyes, somehow not scared but annoyed at the beast. "I'm trying to think here, you damned ugly b*****d!"

The shift was finally over, and Wyatt was quickly out as soon as the overnight person was clocked in. The parking lot was, as usual, full with the vehicles of visitors, so it wasn't a surprise Lukas had to park further away. In scanning the parking lot for his truck, that is when he saw the youma. "Oh come the ******** on..." He muttered under his breath. The youma at that time hadn't made it to Lukas, and Wyatt had just enough time to dip into an alcove of the building and power up out of sight, then leap up onto the awning that covered the entrance of the hotel to get a better vantage point. Then, as the youma charged his truck, Hawara too charged the youma, kicking off the awning and soaring through the air. Being a knight of Uranus had its perks in the speed and near-flight department. Wyatt landed in the bed of the truck between Lukas and the Youma as it charged a second time. Standing there with his own weapon summoned he brandished it at the monster threateningly, and glanced over his shoulder down at Lukas behind him and... His rose eyes narrowed. Well, some things were more important to stop than the youma. Hawara could not properly place the emotional stab to his gut when he saw what was happening, and his only thought, though he knew it in vain, was to stop it. In a fluid motion Hawara caught the length of silk with his Haladie, wrapping it around the blade once with a flourish of the wrist to pick it up, and slung it across the parking lot. The silk weapon went flying, and Hawara then brought his own weapon down against the Youma who had watched the silk go flying like some dumb animal. "Not this night," he growled between gritted teeth, seemingly at the youma, but more towards the forces that be, instead.

The truck shook again, and for a split second, Lukas had thought it was another monster getting ready to attack him. But... Nope. it was a man. And yet it seemed like he had a different focus, like throwing the away that strange toy that had been in Lukas' hands. "Hey!!" Immediately he leaned over, trying to catch it, only too feel a sudden snap at his wrist as the youma decided to go after the easier target. "Get... OFF OF ME!!" teeth sank into his wrist, and he hissed, turning to use his foot to bash the creature with it, aiming for the eyes. "Hng... Fuuuckk...." Even with the pain, his eyes darted around, trying to find Wyatt, trying to make sure the other man *hadn't* come out yet.

Okay one - how dare the youma ignore him. Two - for a weapon not meant for slicing or stabbing, with enough force and rage, even a spoon could carve out organs. And Hawara was good at channeling his rage. The bitchslap from his weapon earlier was nothing compared to the sudden and deep stab the youma would be feeling ..... now.
Now with the youma's attention hopefully turned on himself, and Hawara twisting and turning his embeded weapon before finally wrenching it free, he barked at Lukas;
"Get away from here, now."
Because let's face it - Hwara wasn't good at making sure collateral damage wasn't...significant.

The youma was thoroughly stabbed, straight through the spine. A mangled, pained snarl left it's throat, enough so that it's jaws loosened enough to allow Lukas to escape. It squirmed and thrashed, trying to break free, but only allowed to when Hawara pulled his weapon free from it's body. And even then, it stumbled around before collapsing to the ground. Not dusted just yet, but clearly incapacitated. Lukas wasn't so stupid to think that yeah, he could be of some help fighting this creature. Clearly, he was way out of his league dealing with this, and there was something FAR more important than fighting this thing anyway! When commanded to run, Lukas bolted towards the Hotel entrance, a desperate need to know that Wyatt was safe. He was nearly there, when he near skidded to a stop, that strange ball and silk below him again. "What the hell...?" This time, there was no Hawara to block him. No youma threatening his life, though blood was dripping down his arm in a way he knew he had to get stitches later. But even the pain searing through his arm could not stop him from bending down and picking the thing up, hearing an echoing noise in his head that he could not shake off. "... Mocona." A bright, lightly pink and golden light seemed to engulf him, and in the next moment, Lukas was gone. In his place stood a man, similar in build and stature but hardly recognizable. The man stood there, blinking and confused. No, not confused. ******** bewildered at the sudden change. So much so that he didn't move an inch again. Tonberry Yuna X You can fully dust the youma in your post!

Hawara wasted no time in thoroughly insuring the defeat of the youma, with extreme prejudice, as Lukas bolted. Casting a glare at the dust that remained, his attention was then caught by light.
Ah, ******** <********.
Expeditiously Hawara stalked over and when the light of transformation finally left the other man, this new Page wouldn't have much time to bask in his new found power and surprise before finding himself grabbed by the collar, and pulled, none too gently, in the direction of the truck.
"Truck, Lukas. Now," Hawara demanded with terse authority in his slightly nasal tenor. Of course Hawara knew Lukas would not recognize him in this form, and this 'stranger' knowing his name would only further confuse he man but eh.

By the time Lukas, or... Mocona, that was his name now, wasn't it? Anyway, by the time Mocona seemed to gather his senses, he felt the rough tug against his throat, and dragged away. He was too stunned to fight though, only looking at the other man with curiosity. Scared? Nah. Just confused as ********. "You know my name, huh? You know that truck is mine.. Ish." He started putting pieces together, changing his position so that he was atleast keeping up with the dragging. "So you're someone who knows me... I take it you probably know Wyatt too, given the fact that he works here, and that's his truck. So who are you?"

There might have been a mighty eye-roll as Hawara dragged Lu-Mocona to the truck, and a mocking silent 'blah blah blah' as the other man kept talking. Hawara opened the driver's side door and all but threw Mocona in.
"Move over," he commanded before hoisting himself in the truck, as soon as he space opened up, and slammed the door.
Questions were still left unanswered as he took a deep breath, deceptively calm before.....
Having what only could be called a tantrum.
There was stomping, hitting the steering wheel, and frustrated screaming as the Knight glamor melted away and Mocona would see exactly who he was.
Another beat of silence.
Then Wyatt all but snapped his neck to look over at Mocona with feral fire in those rose-quartz eyes and said, "Welcome to the space terrorist organization."

Mocona obediently followed the man's over, taking a seat on the passenger side and... well, he waited. He visibly flinched at the sudden thrashing about, only for his eyes to go wide when it was Wyatt. And then... Things went calm, Wyatt looked nothing less than crazy as he near hissed words at him. "Wait, wait wait, hold on there, Wyatt. I ain't sign up for no 'space terrorist Organization'. No fighting, or nothing. Just... Calm down and tell me what the heck is goin' on here. And how do I go back to being me?"

Wyatt held out a hand in silent demand for his keys.
"The moment you powered up, you signed in blood," and oh, there would be blood, one way or another.
"Drafted into a millennia long war with no take-backsies, and the only way out is death - at least, until you're reincarnated. Unless they take your starseed - no honorable or dishonorable discharge here, no mental disqualifications, no real benefits,....."
Rant. Rant rant rant. Each word dripped with bitterness.
Once he finally had his keys, he wasted no time in firing up the engine and getting them out of there, although not before pulling in to the drive-thru of a fast-food joint, queuing behind the short line of vehicles.
"Just think of being you again."
He finally answered the 'how do I get back to being me' question, a bit more softly than his earlier ranting, though something very tired in his voice. .
"I'll answer the rest when we get home. What do you want to eat?"
Wyatt was not temperamentally equipped for this - explaining to newbies just what they'd stumbled in to. At best, he could throw his own little cobbled-together notes at them - a large binder of information he had gathered and written down, everything he knew or had been told, with sketches that...sometimes explained better than the words.
And of course, had then been anyone else, he'd have had no problem just apathetically leaving them to figure things out on their own. With this one however he had....obligations.

Mocona blinked. And then blinked twice more. And then he finally got the advice he wanted and powered back down to who he really was, simply Lukas. As if on auto-pilot, he gave up the keys without questioning, though a moment later he had to speak up. "Dude, given all you're emotions right now, I think maybe you should pick what your comfort food is." Even now he didn't think of what was going on with him, the only thoughts in his head was Wyatt's own well being. "You're tired, aren't you? Maybe I should drive us home. I'm not like, hurt or anything, or upset or stressed. I just am so... Yeah, if you want to relax a bit and think things over, go for it." His hand went over to Wyatt's thigh, resting on top of it, and squeezing firmly. "Come on, just pull over and let me handle the driving and what not. You gather your thoughts and just... Figure out what you want to say, and what you want out of me. Cuz I don't know nothin' about all this and you seem to be an expert with one hellava past. Plus, it kinda feels like you're mad at me, and I'm pretty sure nothin' about what just happened was either of our faults."

"I'm not tired, and I'm not angry at you, I'm frustrated," Wyatt replied as they waited in the drive-thru queue. Frustrated, and not in the ways he was used to. "And 'not hurt' my a**, you're bleeding all over the place," He said with a gesture at Lukas' arm, where the youma had bit him. "There's a first aid kit in that compartment there," another gesture was given to the compartment in front of Lukas. Then he decided simply to lean over and open it up himself, grabbing the basic kit in there and busying himself with cleaning Lukas up and tending to the wound himself. "What I want out of you right now, is your food order." Wyatt's handling of the wound was surprisingly gentle for the usually brusque man - not entirely unlike the gentle touch he'd subconsciously delivered that one night...

"And probably a little tired too. You did just work a whole shift." Despite knowing he might get snapped at, Lukas had to point that out. "I'll be fine. I've had worse bites than this by stray dogs in the woods. I'm not going to die from a simple little bite." But he still gave in and let Wyatt do whatever he wanted. It seemed like no matter what he said he was simply going to be talked over right now. And honestly, he understood why. Magic powers? Scary monsters? His kinda physically jacked up not-boyfriend kicking it's a** and now realizing he was dealing with some newbie in all of this? Probably not a good night. "Double bacon cheeseburger, cheese fries, and a strawberry slushie." There was a risk there, he knew it, but atleast a bit of a distraction would be better than having Wyatt completely enraged. Or atleast it would be good to enrage him in a different way. While his silver haired companion decided to finish wrapping up his arm, Lukas too just a slight moment to lean in and press a very gentle and quick kiss to his cheek. "My hero? Maybe? Thank you for stepping in and kicking that things a** for me."

"oh, great, I knew you had rabies," Wyatt joked as he finished cleaning and tending to the wound, covering the now 'get-better-goo'-covered mess with gauze and wrapping it up. Order and peck on the cheek from the wounded subject later - which Wyatt wasn't even sure how to dignify so he didn't - Wyatt sighed. "You may want to hold off on those thanks until you get a better idea what you're in for - you may wish I had let the youma eat you." Wyatt at least tried to be humorous. A little bit. Really, he was about to become the Li Shang to Lukas' Mulan, so that hopefully a youma wouldn't eat him at the very least. The car in front of them finally pulled up and Wyatt was able to place their order. "So, with an order like that, are you planning to have your crash course in space militia in the restroom?" Wyatt joked as they now waited. At least it wasn't chili cheese fries. Granted, Wyatt planned on spiking his own coke when they got home, so.....
