Pruu walked through Zinris with her usual poise, but it was a façade that was ready to fall apart at a moment's notice to reveal that she was an absolute puddle in the inside. A puddle that was floating like a cloud and vibrating as though being rocked by a stampede. The excitement and joy inside of her was liable to push her into behavior that was less than dignified in front of the whole tribe!

She had been kneeling at Elzira's roots for her regular prayers and overheard the greatest news she had ever heard in her life so far. She felt a little guilty for the accidental eavesdropping, and for now having splendid surprise revealed, but she now had the prime position of being able to deliver the news and enjoy Akeldama's reaction.

Now she just had to find the best partner she could have ever imagined being blessed with.

Her composure faltered upon sight of Akeldama, a couple tears slipping down Pruu's cheeks. Tears were normally an embarrassment to the proud woman, but perhaps an exception could be made for tears of joy. Besides, Akeldama was going to be the only one close enough to see them. Still, she quickly brushed them away as she broke into a jog, and then a run, and then a full on sprint. Dare she admit it, even a girlish giggle slipped out when she ran full bore into her love, scooping the other Elarian into her arms to spin in excited circles. "Akel!"

Pruu's hands rose to grip Akel's wrists, giving them a light squeeze of appreciation. "Akeldama.. Everything is wonderful." Quickly glancing around, she bit her lip with excitement and yanked her partner to their hut. "Not out here. Come on!" Maybe she could reserve a little of her dignity by making the scene within the confines of the home.

Once inside, she spun to face Akeldama with her hands clenched in front of her and a wide grin on her lips. "It's Elzira. Our blessed Elzira, she is producing blooms again!"

Pruu was impressed that she had held this much composure for this long, but that was coming to an end. The tears fell freely, relief and joy and anticipation finally breaking free from her restraints. "Akel, the blooms..." she gasped in sharply, so excited that she could barely get the words out, voice just above a whisper, "two of them are ours. Elzira has answered our prayers."

A laugh burst from Pruu as she was spun around, hugging Akeldama tightly in return. This feeling... it was greater than she had ever imagined. "Three of you?" she asked, hands rising to cradle either side of Akel's jaw tenderly. "I think I can live with that." She pulled Akel in for a passionate kiss, sighing softly now that the news was out.

"Will you survive if they turn out more like me, though?" she teased.

Pruu chuckled lightly at the sweet reply, her eyes closing as well to enjoy the peaceful moment of contact. Elzira's trial had been a strain in more ways than one, and it was now over. They could move on. "I think my heart burst on the way here." She ran her thumb over Akel's cheek lightly. "Elzira knows that you are a true and proud Elarian. If anyone deserves such blessings, it is you."

She could not exaggerate how the warmth of having a loving family filled her. One hand came back to wipe at her face again, and blew out a calming breath. "What should we do first to get ready?"

Mother... Mother! She was going to be a mother! They would be mothers together! Surely her heart had burst on her way here, despite feeling it thud happily against her ribs. Perhaps it had even happened back at Elzira's side! There was no way it could survive all of this!

That made sense. The basic furniture like a bed, perhaps chairs, things for them to play with.. "Making room for the furniture will be.. interesting. Perhaps an addition is in order?" Their home didn't need that much space, but she did want to give the girls their own room. She had appreciated that growing up.

Eyes lighting up, she smiled and nodded. "I've had a few bouncing around in my head. Ilura, Iona, Quis, Hava, Xeyna.." She paused and blushed lightly. "Okay, perhaps there are more than a few in there. What about you?"

Ah, that was true. She certainly didn't want that critter skittering around every time she called for a daughter! Okay, Hava was off the table. Brow cocking, she gave a heavy sigh and let her arms down to loosely hook around Akeldama's hips. "I prefer to believe that you will take naming your daughters a little more seriously than when you named Yava," she huffed through a smile. "Still, perhaps I will take the reigns in having final approval, should you try to pull anything sneaky."
