History: Cressida had what she called a fairly normal childhood, she was privileged in her upbringing in being well educated and raised by a loving family. They didn’t even flinch when she told them she liked other females, they just accepted her as a whole; even her girlfriend she brought home one day as a teenager. Unfortunately, these would only end in shattered dreams, one day while the cities were burning and exploding as the world turned into chaos which threatened to destroy everything she loved and held dear. Till the day that Haven took everything from her.
She found herself on Verem Island after flying for days to find safety, landing near a cave system that smelled just like the perfume her daddy had given her... Just like her item… She has lived there ever since, stewing on ways to murder every single Haven operative that she can get her hands around. Building an army of listeners who keep ears to the ground for information that might help her quest though selling perfumes that others create; such a brilliant disguise. Her father had shown her how to do this as he was the one who created the perfumes she so loved.
Cressida has amassed a small ‘army’ of homeless metas and true races alike. She calls her wayward band the “Pulcha Dolo” or, beautiful deceit, and the cave systems she calls home are known to everyone there as the Butterfly Den. It’s known to have butterflies that swarm around the caves that make it unable for people to locate the entrances, or even reluctant to enter as it’s rumored they eat flesh and blood.
Virtues:
Determination and grit: That’s a virtue right, the determination to destroy something that took everything she loved from her. Kind to animals: She’s only ever been seen being kind to animals, especially butterflies and moths. The only thing she doesn’t find pleasure in harming is animals. Oder Justice and fairness:You must pay for the things you do. You killed my family, you will die. (Haven) Abstinence: Cressida has pledged herself to Amilia only, she has been known to flirt but she has never had another relationship or fling. Industry:She cuts off all unnecessary actions once her goals are set, so she can do things in the least amount of steps with forward thinking plans. Determination to survive and persevere: she has played herself up in her own head and now sees herself as an all powerful being. Control:She wants control over everything around her.
She thinks she’s lost most of her virtues since losing it all.
Dislikes/Vices/Flaws:
Haven: Speaks for itself really…. They killed Amilia. Males: She dislikes them. Yet they have their uses. She hasn't disclosed why. Cold hearted b***h. She’s not good with children. Not anymore. Temper temper:, she flys off the rails with her temper.. Quite often things break with her rage. She angers easily and would try to slay any who she perceived as slighting her or wronged her. Doesn’t trust anyone: Even if she acts like it. Liking someone is different to trusting them. Condones cannibalism:Many of her operatives indulge in it along with her butterflies but she does not. She also is aware enough that she has prevented her operatives from eating each other… Not an easy feat at times. Deceitful. Don’t trust everything she says…… She had to survive…. Egotistical with overestimating herself: She thinks she is almost invincible, through her Determination to survive and persevere she has played herself up in her own head and now sees herself as an all powerful being. Control: She wants control over everything around her.
Weaknesses: Her butterflies. She calls them her babies, she actually is kindest to them of all things. She has a bad habit of overestimating herself, even though this is also a strength this can be an undoing as well. For if she ever lost this she would shatter.
Strengths: She overestimates herself to the point that she feeds it into her determination and grit, believing she is somewhat invincible; she perseveres through it all to continue fighting. She would fight Haven until her last breath, ensuring that she kills anyone and everyone who stands in her way.
Hidden: Everything in her history, she has never told a soul. There is so much more to this story she has even tried to make herself forget the details….

Butterfly swarm Element: Nature Relation to Item: Butterflies Active Description of Power: -Creates a thick swarm of butterflies that swarm around you. -Can be sent to specific locations like a beacon or message

Limits: -Butterflies when used as beacons expire after 24 hours. -Butterflies when used to harvest pollen expire after bringing back resources. - Butterflies can be used to send and collect messages, and return to Cress where only she and other butterfly metas (or true raced) can understand them.

Sub power 1: Perfect hearing
Cressida has unique hearing, she can hear noises other beings usually can't, and has an amazing ability to hear what's being said behind closed doors. Even still
Passive Limits: -This ability is limited inside meaning if she is in one room she can only hear one room over (which ever way). - Outside, her hearing isn't impeded as much by the walls unless in a city - This unique way of hearing allows her to hear spirits
Sub power 2:
Guided by butterflies If a butterfly is sent to find someone, and the person is found deceased, Cressida can 'teleport' their body to her by making the butterfly give it's life and land on the recipient. If there is no physical body but some form of remains the butterflies feast on the leftovers and they process the DNA from the body to 'rebirth' the form just as it should have been in it's DNA structure.
Limits - Cressida must choose to do this - If Cressida teleport-resus's someone, For at least a week after use she requires the pure nectar from the flowers to drink to regain her strength and is at half life and half abilities on all her powers. - Depending on the size of the being teleported depends on many week's she's down. - She is unable to do anything beyond send messenger butterflies short distances requesting help, after use. Has to regain her strength to use many other powers, if she attempts to use a power in a weakened state she will be weaker for longer... - If she dies after using this sub-power she can -not- resurrect herself. -Can -not- res ultimate deaths//head loss//regrow limbs

Those with spirit powers might be able to have short interactions with her.

Only usable on herself. Cressida turns into a cocoon when in the cave gardens, she relies on others to ensure she gets there. She can be half alive, or officially dead, for every hour past the time of her death that her physical body remains not in the cocooned state in the caves, she has to remain in the cocoon for a month longer. Then after hatching is weak but able to cast butterflies and minior other powers.
Limits - If Cressida's physical body doesn't get taken back to the cave garden within 12 hours her spirit will fade and die permanently. - Cress in spirit form is 'bardo' not quite alive and not quite dead. - When Cressida dies physically her spirit becomes a phantom butterfly sprite. -She can only perform a brief interaction with the living realm for the period that her body is not in the garden to send a message for retrieval. - If she is forced to interact with the real world as a spirit she only has a limited amount of time and it takes her a few hours before she can try again. - Once in the garden her body turns into the cocoon. If she is out for 12 hours that is 1 year in cocoon form (6 hours, 6 months etc) and she is in Spirit butterfly form for the duration of the cocoon. If she is outside past 12 hours she can not be revived. - After hatching she regains her physical form, but spends some time needing support to walk and needs nectar to drink. - Cant heal ultimate death

All was peaceful, birds twittered in the treetops around the open cave entrance, little critters scurried around foraging for food and scraps. Butterflies kissed the flower tops and danced in the breeze, the air was silent beyond that of the noises of nature and the buzzing of insects like a corus. Peace and silence stretched as far as Cecilia could see, she cradled her cup in her hands, steam rose from it and the liquid inside was still warm. Ceci sipped slowly at her drink, the peace was so tranquil she almost forgot everything enjoying the morning glow in the dewdrops on the flowers and grass around her.
“CECIL!” A screech broke the silence. Birds burst from the trees suddenly squawking with frights, the critters scurried away without a second glance back and the butterflies took flight like a swarm in angry swirls. Their swings shone in the light, it was almost beautiful.
Cecilia jumped, spilling some of her tea on her hand, thankful it was now warm she licked her hand as she jumped to her feet; she would need every last drop, the mistress was in a mood by the use of her name. Quickly she finished her drink and hurried down the steps that were concealed in the flowers to her left; you would have to know they existed to know where to step or you would fall and break your neck. Even after years of toddling up and down them Ceci had slipped a few times and was lucky enough to escape major injuries, the mistress probably would have been most displeased if she ever broke a bone. Yet she always seemed to ‘save’ her, even if she’d complain bitterly about it when she did get badly hurt; because as soon as she’d heal someone the Mistress absorbed their hurt and had to go through weeks of rehabilitation… Which Ceci had to be by her side all the time when that happened.
Right now, the Mistress had recently woken from a cocoon that lasted close to a year. She’d been in a foul mood since waking as she’d been monitoring the Den while she was ‘away’ and displeased with what she was seeing. Why? Because the time before this she had woken to find her second in command had taken on an agreement with a group called Haven, and caught some Meta kids. No one else knew as he’d hired other’s apart from the group connected to the Mistress because he couldn’t trust who’d tattle on him. Well she’d been watching, keeping an eye on things as she does… She has her ways she says to Ceci. And noticed the 2nd had been acting strangely, she’d said she ‘dreamed of him’ whatever that meant and discovered his plans. So when she hatched from the cocoon she’d sent Ceci to follow him and be sure she was right. Ceci had found the children trapped in cages and reported it back, it took mere weeks to nurse her back to health as she had so much determination and she marched herself right in where he was and cornered him! Mistress was so mad! She’d ordered him to have a gigantic boulder strapped to his legs and dropped in the ocean, she watched the whole thing till the bubbles stopped rising. Then she came back and ordered that Faldian guy to ‘get rid’ of the kids in the cages. Ceci thought she’d offer them a place to stay but Mistress wouldn’t even look at them before sweeping out. This time, Mistress had to leave the place herself. Fly to somewhere because ‘duty called’ she said and then wasn’t back for weeks! Ceci had to try to run everything on her own and at eleven no one around here wanted to listen to her. She scurried down the dark passageways of the caves, into the area they used as a kitchen to leave her cup and pick up another before heading through another winding tunnel, one that led up to where her Mistress was screaming.
“WHAT TOOK SO LONG?!” Cressida screeched as Cecilia entered the room, Ceci instinctively ducked as a cup sailed passed where her head was moments ago.
“I am so sorry Miss” Ceci said and curtsied deeply, “I had to go past the kitchens to collect a new cup.” She said, trying to hide the smug smile as she bowed her head and held out the new cup. Ceci had lived here long enough to know her Mistress well. Cressida snatched the cup from Ceci’s hands, “Well, Cecil.” She said snidely at the child, “If you hadn’t been off with the fairies, I wouldn’t have to wait so long. I can see you sitting there doing nothing in the mornings.” She said like a whip, as she turned and walked towards her teapot, “That one was dirty.” She said with a wave at the offending cup. Ceci started cleaning the mess, there were barely any marks she could see on the offending cup but she stayed silent, she’d need to source more tea cups again soon.
“So I couldn’t reach that wretch Kylar.” She growled as she poured her tea into the new cup. “Paid a whole lot of money for a dead end.” She set the teapot down and glared at the golden liquid in her cup like it had offended her, then turned to face Cecilia with a dagger like expression, “And worse, that wretch Faldien appears to have gone and killed himself. His trunk was found with one of our operatives and I sighted his boat being sailed by a group and no Faldien in sight.” She hissed the words, “He might have been a pain in my side but he had his uses.” She drummed her long fingers on the table. “Cecil. What were you doing while I was gone?” She asked, her voice sickly sweet, like so sweet if you bite it you’d surely die.
Cecilia squirmed under her Mistress’s gaze, “I ahh, I tried to make things keep running… Mistress.” She said and swallowed, “I made sure everyone stayed on task.” Her voice quivered as she spoke, she tried not to wring her hands.
Cressida seemed pleased with Cecilia’s answer and seemed to relax, she picked up her tea cup and eyed the child, “Good. You beat an adult male already.” She looked her up and down, the child was young, it was still flat chested and gangly with no real gender, and Cressida quite enjoyed calling the child Cecil as it nearly always evoked a response of some sort, but for once, there was no push back. Her violet eyes gave away no emotions, she sipped at her tea. “That is all child.” And she waved a hand, all that literally to disturb her peace, call her Cecil… And make sure her training was paying off. Maybe one day the child would be of greater use after she grows out of her usefulness in other ways. “Thank you Ceci.” She murmured as Cecilia turned to leave the room.
Ceci left, catching the murmur her Mistress quietly uttered, a smile instantly broke her face as she walked down the corridor, she did something right? Well, she figured she’d continue doing what she was doing while her Mistress was gone, making sure things got done. She headed back towards the kitchen, starting with the dishes.

New operatives in hiring: Blaise and Tobias.
Blaise: Good at blowing things up, seems someone who knows how to have fun. I like her style.
Tobias: Seems sensitive to noise and touch, maybe even taste. Seems to have his head screwed on right; something I miss. Seems he doesn't trust me yet but we'll work on things.
Initial job was to locate and return my wayward operative Faldien, who is currently playing games with some meta called Andy Eternal.
I had met with her husband; it's well known to me through my whispering ears who tell me secrets that no one's meant to know about. Kylar who was formerly known as Kage, whichever he is using now, is also intent on taking out Haven and I've had my eye on him for some time prior to Faldien falling into this Andy. I do not expect him to know how deep into hot water he has just found himself.
I managed to arrange a meeting with him, he gave me some rather useful information; even if he wasn't aware of the extent, it was enough to give me some ideas. I told Kylar about this development as well with Faldien, we’ll see what that brings around. It might be amusing if he decides to go after him.
I’m getting carried away. What I have learned since the meeting with Kylar has created an interesting development for me…. That led to procuring an egg, not just any egg either. A meta egg. Something I'd assumed to be much harder than it actually was. Luckily I had come across someone useful who was… let's say getting rid of something they no longer wanted and walla, one little egg found its way to my fridge. It was just perfect, all I needed then was the Elf, Faldien.
Things did not go how I planned though after I'd gotten him back to the base. I admit I was a fool to think I could break Andy so easily, given everything I know about her I should not have gotten so cocky. I should have left her out of it.
Next time I will.
So it appears Faldien has escaped with Andy and apparently taken Cecilia along with one prisoner and an operative in training.
Oh right, Felix bit his finger off for information from Ree about Haven. One of the directors names, Demir and his locations (xxxxx).
Now Ree was an interesting development. One I definitely had not expected, I do not know how he managed to get here but he was interested in Faldien. I am unsure as to why as when queried he basically said he was nothing to him. Strange. Yet he did give me information. I needed more before I could mount a credible investigation and went as far as following my butterflies to a fresh meal they’d located.
It appears this Ree had made an opsy as he tried to port into the tunnels and misjudged landing in solid rock… And bits of him were dripping through a ceiling. How unfortunate. I feel awful I took such a meal from my babies but I really needed this information so I had them rebirth his body, I know this means I am going to be practically out of action for a bit but I had to try.
It worked, I learnt that he created golems and has an odd focus on Zaku, the current weak link in the treaty. Zaku is the current face of the rebellion, pink haired, tall and always spouting something about peace for all or some s**t.
Demir leads the Chili bean group, he likes messing with people's minds, has an interest in alternate dimensions and also has a meta that follows his commands. I wonder if this is similar to Felix, at least he is able to have his powers. Unlike Faldien the idiot, I had to block him from even knowing he had them! The only time he was able to use them was when he was completely controlled like a puppet, otherwise he’d have his mind wiped so he’d never remember. He was a useful little Elf boy doing as he was told… Not anymore. He’s rather outlived his usefulness now that I have Blaise and Tobias.
I saw Felix coming out of his room as I was heading to my meeting with Tobias and Blaise, he’s taken the news of his missing finger rather well. Ree might not be impressed to know I gave him someone to look for though…. Oops…
Felix recommended relocating, since someone has discovered our base… He does have a valid point, if someone can stumble across us like he did then maybe we should relocate. I will have some of the ones from below work on the tunnel system so maybe we can shift into a new section and border off this side. It might be best, at least Felix has his uses.
My babies have just alerted me that the newcomers are approaching, they must mean Tobias and Blaise. I’m off to the meeting, if I learn anything interesting I’ll add it on, otherwise I should start working out a plan.
