The village always has dull weather during the daytime, but it's easy enough to navigate through. Though the sky is cloudy and little light breaks through, by nighttime the climate changes. The air cools rapidly and within an hour of the sun setting, a chilling mist rolls from the forest and covers the village. It is almost suffocating and inhaling it even for only a moment will result in hallucinations. The visions are terrifying, often including shadows covering everything, the sensation of eternal falling, and the appearance of a great beast attacking. These hallucinations are always frightening and can last anywhere from a few moments through the entire night. There is no way to dispel the fog and it is too dangerous to stay outside past sundown.
Chambersite scowled at the sky when he could tell that whatever source of external light that only barely broke through the cloud barrier could get through was going down, he knew that he needed to head back to his temporary home. Somehow he had made it without the creature managing to break through the building, though he could hear it scratching, and somehow had made it with so little food, but knew that he couldn't stay out for much longer.
The fog was the main problem besides the creature. One couldn't tell what it was doing, it attacked, but they did not find bodies. And they couldn't follow after it. But the fog was worse. If they inhaled it they would not only be easy prey for the creature, but the hallucinations... he had heard someone screaming when they had been caught out on the first night, they unfortunately having had to go out for whatever reason, and they were gone the next morning.
He had to head in. It didn't seem that he was alone however. There was a Senshi, Corrupt, who also appeared to be heading back to wherever she was staying.
