Thal 1
Thallassa stretched, looking out at the sunrise come up over the edge of the sea. Oh this was the life. He looked over at his siblings, they had all voted to sleep on the veranda, Dad was passed out with Mom in their adjacent bedroom, more than close enough to watch over their triplets. Thallassa felt like they wore their parents out a little bit, but what was life without action.
"Hey guys, wake up get a load of those clouds, arn't they lovely?"
He prodded the sister closest to him gently.

Honi yawned at the nudge, small hand lifting to rub at her eyes. "Five more minutes," she murmured as she rolled onto her stomach. Still, she raised her head to rest her chin on her pillow and peeked out at the sky.
"Pretty," she murmured with a sleepy smile. She yawned again and reached over to pat her sister's arm. "Kina, get up. Thal want you to see the clouds."

Nykinae was asleep on her stomach so when her arm was tapped she made a sound and furrowed her brows. Something like a grumble was given before she lifted her head and opened her eyes to look at her siblings. "It's too early..." Kina brought her hand to her eyes and rubbed back and forth a few times. "Go back to sleep." A yawn followed her words almost instantly.
Despite that she lowered her hand and looked at her brother with a raised brow. "What is it Thal?"

Before them was set a wispy cavernous glow, spiking orange then fading.
"Look at all of that Purple! Then where the pink looks like its glowing from the inside. Clouds almost as beautiful as you guys, what are we going to get up to today?"
He hoped they were ready for a busy day, he was certainly excited. He stretched loosely then flopped back on the comfy blankies.Five more minutes was okay, he was a just little demi- god. In his own little head anyway. It was fun to be the superhero who would smackity smack anyone who messed with his siblings.

With that same smile, Honi rolled to press up against her sister and nuzzled into her warmth. "Pretty clouds," she crooned with a content sigh. The compliment from her brother made her giggle and crack an eye to look over playfully. "Can't be beautiful without our beauty sleeps." She nuzzled her face back against Kina again, muffling her voice. "I wanna have breakfast."

She looked at the clouds and blinked a few times to clear her vision. A nod of agreement was given then. "Yeah, its pretty." Kina shifted slightly when Honi cuddled up to her so that she could put an arm over her sister. Keeping her close she laid her head back down and yawned as she closed her eyes. "Five more minutes then food."
She was hoping for a few more minutes before she had to get up and get ready for the day. Kina liked her beauty sleep.

Thalassa was torn. On one hand he wanted to stay with his sisters in the warm blankets, but he also wanted to go patrol the perimeter, pet the family animals and scour the beach to see what the tide had brought in. he moaned at the decision and floundered over by the door, his yellow eyes fixed on the view. It was windy today, he liked the wind. Maybe just a quick frolic outside while his sister enjoyed their morning. He inched toward the door and slipped out in tot he fresh air. He did a very fast run around the yard. Seeing as much as he could see as fast as possible. Panting mildly he popped back in the door to see if any progress had been made.
Then his stomach rumbled audibly. He frowned. He was hungry... in the end he crawled back on the bed and burrowed himself in good. Food could wait. Softness won. He would wait...patiently..

Honi raised her head just a little with one eye cracked open, surprised to her her brother running off. As tempting as it was to follow... their little nest of blankets was just too cozy to leave yet, and she snuggled back in.
When her eyes opened again, she found her brother had returned. Yawning around a wide grin, she reached her arm over to pull Thal closer and nuzzled against his cheek. "What's for breakfast? Can I have oatmeal with cinnamon?"

A groan left her as she felt one of her siblings leaving the blankets. Being that she had her arm over Honi she knew it wasn't her. Kina stretched her legs but kept her eyes closed. For a short moment the fell back asleep but then the feeling of blankets moving and Honi moving to snuggle their brother woke her again. This time she peeked open one eye to look at them.
It was truly time to get up now. She offered a smile. "Alright alright. Let's get up and get some food. I'll brush your hair while we wait." She meant it for both siblings. Nykinae liked being presentable and she made sure her siblings were too. She brushed and styled their hair if they needed it and would often fix their clothes if they were wrinkled or out of place. It all went toward her high maintenance attitude.

"Yes we can have oatmeal, but I want berries, not cinnamon. Mom probably has it ready anyway, we need just pour the hot water in from the stoneware thermos she keeps it in." They were no doubt out working, the kids were old enough to assemble food. Well mostly he and Kina took care of Honi because well...it was fun and she deserved it. For his part he loved when Kina did his hair almost put him back to sleep everytime. She was gentle..with that at least.
He didn't know what he would do without his sisters and couldn't imagine a morning in which they were not in it.
He snuggled Honi. He would eat the heart of whoever hurt her.

Honi looked over to her sister and smiled gratefully. "Okay, Kina! You can brush Thal's hair first if you want. I'm suuuper hungry!" Her hair tended to take a while, and she didn't want it to get in the way of eating! Now that she was waking up, the hunger that she had felt earlier was making itself known, her belly grumbling loudly at thoughts of cinnamon and berries.
She giggled happily as she was snuggled and gave her brother's cheek another nuzzle before she pushed upright to stand. "What do you want on yours, Kina? I'll get the cinnamon and berries out, and whatever you want."

"Thal's will be first then." She said with a grin. Their brother didn't have much so it wouldn't take long but she'd still make sure it was done right. As Honi got up she did too. A stretch of her arms up over her head and she yawned. "Mm, I want honey with mine." She said after her stretch.
"You two go get stuff ready I'll grab the brush and ties and pick up the bedding." Nykinae was slightly picky about how the blankets were folded and put away. She didn't want them all wrinkled for the next night since it made them uncomfortable. Kina would wait until they were both out of the blankets before she began to pick them up and put them away.

Thal scrambled out of bed and helped Honi, before returning to Kina for the start of the daily hair ritual.
"Well if mom and dad decide to have more kids, you can do their hair too. I love that both of you got Mom's hair, the teal is so pretty."
He was happy he looked like his Dad, he idolized their father but his absolute fav place was Mom's lap when the other two also felt like cuddling. He usually fell asleep while his mom ran her hands through his hair.
He tried not to fall asleep for Kina so he didn't mess up her hard work.
He wondered what fun they would get up to today.

Honi scampered excitedly to the kitchen, working with Thal to portion out the oats and pour the hot water. While he was off getting his hair brushed, she sprinkled cinnamon onto her bowl to let the spice soak into the oats with the water. The honey jar was pulled out and the berries as well, and she set both onto the table. Since the oats would be another minute, she went back to watch her siblings during the brushing.
She blushed lightly at Thal's comment and reached up to pull on her long bangs. "I like it, too!"

She was just finishing with the blankets when Thal came back. Kina smiled as she pulled the brush out and patted the stool for him to sit. Once he was seated she began the brushing and styling. She was gentle with the brush since the goal wasn't to hurt his head. She was busy humming when Honi joined them. She smiled at her sister. "How do you want your hair today? Like usual?" Kina liked to give her sister the option to say how she wanted her hair done.
It took a few minutes to brush and properly style Thal's hair but once she was done she patted him on the shoulder to make sure he hadn't gone back to sleep. "All done."
