However she was raised in an optimistic home and has decided that even with the darkness in the world, she wasn't going to let it ruin her life worrying about it and looks for the best, becoming strong to carry on her father's traditions and legacy while aiming to make the world the best it could be.

xxxxx※Maiz was born on the Saiyan home world of Sadal to a strong pair of warriors. However, there was an incident shortly after she was born in which her mother was killed on a mission she really shouldn't have been on. Shocked and full of grief, her father talked with the king and was moved to the galactic patrol and stationed on Earth, a peaceful planet where he could raise his daughter out of war and fights. Upon arrival to Earth, he instantly set upon getting them set up, even going so far as to hire a human nanny to watch her while he was on a mission. Her nanny was a sweet woman. An optimistic person who always believed that even those who had bad intentions could change and make the right choice given the chance. She imparted those morals on Maiz as she grew. To never fight to kill, to always show mercy and compassion for everyone. As she got old enough to fight, her father trained her how to fight so that she wouldn't ever be killed by someone after them and could help him defend the planet should the need ever arise. That's when she really got in touch with her heritage, as she found pride and strength in her desire to beat her father and make him proud. She learned his lessons and she did indeed become strong. She always held her nanny's morals to her though. Her father over the years found himself falling in love with her nanny and took her as his wife, becoming a hybrid household. Maiz was homeschooled, so she never had interaction with many humans besides her mother. When she turned sixteen, her mother opened a produce shop for their community and her mother made the decision that to expose her to more humans she would work with her. She was at first shy, but soon became a budding flower that won over most she met with her kindness and cheerful attitude. So her life took on a routine, working with her mom and training with her dad when her work was done or on her days off.
