Ejskoia had crossed the border into Zena again for the purpose of practicing with her bow but things hadn't gone her way. The weather took a turn at some point and now she felt more than a little chilly. Since she hadn't packed a coat for the trip she was left constantly shivering and rubbing her arms to try and warm up.

The thought occurred to her that she should turn back but with how far she'd gone she wasn't even sure which direction was which at the current moment. While she was sure she hadn't gone too far up the mountain, judged off the lack of thick snow on the ground, she still wasn't sure which way was which.

Riya was out on a hunt in the southern region of the mountain when she noticed something out of place. A wind woman wasn't all that unusual but one lacking a coat was. Usually those that lived near the border understood the need for such articles of clothing. So did that mean this one moved too far up and was clueless?

She sighed and put her arrow away, tucking it back into the quiver, as she let her bow lower to her side. The icling moved out of her small hiding place and cleared her throat so as to not completely startle the female. "Are you lost or something? You're out here without a coat and that's not such a good idea." Like she had room to talk though. Riya hardly wore one unless she was farther north.

The noise that was made caused Ejskoia to turn her head and look at the woman that came out of hiding. Instantly she took note of the weapon and figured she was out hunting as well. When asked if she was lost Ejskoia started to shake her head but stopped before slowly nodding. "Yes. I'm not where I thought I was and now I'm not sure which way leads back to where I came from." Since she wasn't giving many specifics it was likely that the woman would look at her like she was stupid.

"Ah, sorry. I don't remember which way leads to Mez." Giving the name of the town close to the border should likely help.

As the woman told her she was lost but didn't give any guiding points she looked at her like she had spoken in a different language. Once a city name was given though there was a bit of recognition. "Ah, yeah.. you're a bit farther than you thought then." She shifted her bow to her other hand so that her left was free and able to come up and point off into the distance. "Mez is a good ways that way." If she remembered correctly there was a good distance to get back down to that Sauti town.

Her eyes lifted up to the sky and judged the time and weather. "If you go right now you might make it just after dark. You'll need a hot bath when you get there though or you'll catch a cold."

Ejskoia looked in the direction that was pointed out to her. It seemed she would have a long ways to go. Of course her footsteps didn't exactly lead that way either. Which way had she come from and what was she doing there? In all honesty she couldn't remember. Her attention likely wasn't on the direction she was going at all. "Well thank you for the help, I appreciate it."

A warm bath sounded nice too. Would she make it in time to get one? She knew if the water had to be brought up to her room then the people of the inn would complain. She could always do it herself though. "Guess I better start going."

Her head gave a short nod to show she didn't mind helping out. Though her yellow eyes were still taking in the fact that the wind lady had come up onto the snowy mountain without a coat. Without much in the way of winter gear honestly.

Riya heard her say that she should get going and it made her wonder if the girl would get there on her own or if she would get lost again. A quick glance around and she came to the conclusion that she wouldn't let the girl go on her own. "Hang on a sec.." First things first, though. She shimmied out of her coat and held it out for the wind girl to take. "Put this on and I'll lead the way."

She was surprised to hear the icling tell her to hold on and she watched with some interest as she took her coat off. When it was held out to her she went a little wide eyed. "Really? Won't you be cold then?" Of course she took it anyways. Her skin was freezing and the body heat that was still in it felt amazing when she slipped it on. Ejskoia was just slightly smaller than Riya so she had some extra room in the coat and she sank into its depths with an "Ahhh."

"I'd appreciate a guide, thank you. And thank you for the coat, its so warm." Her eyes were closed for the moment, too satisfied with the warmth to care too much about anything else.

Iriyana watched her slip the coat on and sink into it like a little kid. It made her chuckle and shake her head. "Yeah yeah, no problem. Saving silly windlings isn't an everyday thing." They usually had more sense than this one.

Since Ejskoia was in the coat and wouldn't kill over from frost bite or hypothermia anytime soon she motioned with her head for the girl to follow as she started to lead the way. "Come on." If the girl could keep pace with her then they might get lucky and get there a little bit earlier than expected. If not then it would be a while.

"Well if you're sure you won't be cold." She nodded her head and started to follow as the icling lead the way. "So what's your name?" A little small talk never hurt anyone right? Besides it wouldn't do for her to not know the name of the person saving her from freezing to death.

Ejskoia snuggled into the coat a little to warm up even more of herself as they walked. Her eyes looking around at all the snow. How did one not get lost with all the white anyways?

"Nah, won't bother me too much. Besides, I've dealt with worse." Riya thought back and gave a small shudder of her shoulders. When the girl asked her what her name was she glanced back at her and raised a brow. "Uh.. Call me Riya." No point in the girl knowing her given name since she wouldn't likely see her again. And she was sure that if the girl really wanted to find her the name 'Riya' would get her plenty far enough. Wasn't like they were going to become best buddies.

"Just make sure to keep up okay, you can get lost if the snow picks up and blocks your vision."

So the girl was named Riya. It was a pretty name. Short and sweet too. Ejskoia's name was a bit tough to pronounce if one didn't really pay attention or got tongue tied. "You can call me Koia." It was a shortened version of her name so it worked. Wasn't quite the mouthful.

When she was told that the snow could block her view and she could get lost she picked up the pace to make sure she was right beside the ice woman. "It gets that heavy?" The windling was curious to learn about the weather patterns now.

She glanced at the girl as she caught up and nodded her head. "It can." Riya had seen the snow fall become so heavy one couldn't see their own hand outstretched in front of them. Of course that had been years ago and she didn't think it was a normal occurrence.

She kept up the same pace to make sure they got where they needed to go before the weather slowed them down or trapped them. Every so often she would glance back to make sure Koia was there. "Careful, we're coming up on a steeper slope, so step where I step." She figured she'd better warn the girl so that things didn't get worse.

"Whoa.." Now she was in awe of the weather of Zena. To know that the snow fall could become that thick, that heavy, was amazing. It made Ejskoia look up at the sky for a second.

Then Riya said something and it made her look back down. "Oh, right.. Got it." So all she had to do was step in the same places that her guide did. That was easy enough. Her head gave an affirmative nod. "I'll steps where you step."

Hearing that she understood what was said she continued to lead the way. Riya stepped lightly where she knew there was no issues. When the slope took a steeper turn she lowered down a little so that she was closer to the ground as she walked. Her feet stomped down the snow twice before putting her weight down and it made for better footholds for the girl following her.

"Alright, we're almost down." They had little less than half way to go before they reached the bottom. She turned her head to look at Koia and make sure she was doing alright.

She did good at first. Her feet went in the same holes that Riya made for her. One by one she made her way down, though her arms were out at her sides to help with balance. She looked at the icling when she spoke and that took her focus off where her feet went for a second. "Okaaaaaaaaaaay!!" That little distraction was enough for her to put her foot the wrong way and down she went.

Her arms flailed and when her butt hit the snow she slid. A gasp left her ad her eyes went wide. "Oh no!"
